The first episodes I remember watching were when Bobby found out Don Fisher was her father. I've watched nearly all episodes since then - although there was a period when they were on some channel that had really bad reception and I missed a few episodes before I decided to watch anyway - must have been just after the enforced 12 month break when ITV stopped showing. I love that I know every character's long term back story.

I’ve been watching since day 1!!!!

I LOOOOVE Aussie dramas anyway, but it was the actions of Lynn Davenport in that 1st season that made me TRULY adore this show.....

.......and since then, there’s always been at least one character who I’ve latched onto ....my Fave Bay Girl if you will – currently its Ruby, with the likes of Gypsy, Sophie, Angel, Shannon, Maddie, Tiegan [brook], Jade, Tasha & Rachel previously holding that mantle!!!!

My Aunt has been watching it for years ... probably since it's inception and when I was younger I do remember watching it every now and again.

The first memory I have of watching Home and Away is watching a much younger Ray Meagher shout at somebody to get out of Noah's Bar, although I'm not sure if even Noah was dead then.

I remember being particularly annoyed when Olivia's grandmother secured custody of Olivia. That woman was a right ol' b****h and I really felt for Irene ... she was so upset

The next memory is of Robbie, I think, knocking over Mathilda in his car, and the others rushing to help her and Robbie just stares on in shock.

Martha and Jack got me really hooked to the show, I remember watching reruns of their wedding episode on a Sunday morning and RTE 2.

So ... I'm not sure how long exactly I been watching the show ... maybe since 2005 so about 7 years on and off.

I have a feeling I started watching around, if not on, 9/11 because with the 5 channels I had back then, the rolling news was getting slight repepitive. In terms of episodes that's around 2910.

It of course wasn't the first episodes I'd seen though. For instance I can remember watching the theme when Sal and Selina carried that long surfboard, I can remember at least catching some of the episode where Duncan and Ailsa crash into the lake and also a random scene where I believe Pippa and Fisher were sitting on the grass near the beach having a conversation. I'm sure I'll have caught more than that growing up, but those are the bits that I remember. The last one may not have even happened. Maybe in 2018 or so when we're still watching SevenTwo I'll go that's the scene I remember and what a boring scene it was.

I thought Chole's brother James got custody of Olivia in the end? I do remember her grandmother was not very nice at all and I felt bad for Irene as well, these eps I was almost crying cos it was so sad and aside from the fact that Chole was one of my faves. The grandmother was also rude to a pregnant Hayley as well.
