With Marilyn back now, do you think the producers have asked orman Coburn to reprise his role as Donald? I can't imagine him saying no, providing that it was a fairly short stint and it would be fantastic and feel very old school to have Donald and Marilyn on screen together :D

To tell you the truth I don't think Norman Coburn would be up to returning.

But if I am wrong and he's up to returning as a guest then that's great. I'd like Hayley to maybe return in a few years time but as Bec, not Ella.

I wonder if Norman would consider returning on a more permanent basis? Either way its definitely time he made a return, he has more than good reason to.

If there's one thing that would potentially hinder it, it's the fact that Norman is 75. Whilst there is of course, many actors out there well into there 70's, 80's and I'm sure there was some woman who has been on some American soap since she said the first words in the mid 50's, but at the same time he may want to do the gardening, read books or white water rafting in his retirement.

I do think it would be interesting, though I'm sure people want it to be like the 90's and it won't be and we'll end up disappointed.

I last heard that Norman was very happily retired in Tasmania, though he is still doing (and writing) some theatre there.

I can't see him wanting to return on a more permanent basis, but it would certainly be good to see him back in a way that would redeem his character after they pretty much destroyed all the integrity and respect Don had in his 2007 stint....

I would like both Donald and Hayley (Bec) to return, I liked them both.

Yes, I think they pretty much destoyed some of Don last time he was in the Bay..

And, how knows.. If he returns again..maybe they even kill him of like they do with some characters. Too many characters has been killed of I think.

There are so many different ways to write people out of a show.. not nessicary need to kill them off. + It will give us a chance of hope that someday they might even return.

Donald is only slightly behind Vinnie in my favourite character order!

It would be great to see him if only for a short time. Nothing can bring back the good old days but it is still a good recognition of Summer Bay heritage.
