Ryan Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Lastly, given that the episodes are 22 years old (and have been subjected to repeat runs) I find it simultaneously amusing and perplexing that anyone should want to embargo posts with spoiler modifications. yes the eps are 22 years old however im only 30 so therefore these eps were made beforeiiwas even born and i did not see the repeat run . i dont mind a general spoiler but when it comes to cast departures or changes i would prefer to stay in the dark The typo in your post didn't half get me confused!

I had used a deliberately ambiguous statement such as 'sometime soon', so as to avoid upsetting anyone, as a precautionary measure. With this in mind, I refuse to be chastised or reprimanded for, what I believe, was an act of good faith. As Ryan has suggested, the term 'spoiler' is subjective anyway. My term used ('sometime soon') is also subjective - what does it mean? Does it mean a week? Six months? 1990? Or beyond? I was certainly not explicit in that regard. Had I felt that my actions were deliberately calculated to offend anyone, I would have apologised most profusely. However, there was clearly no intention to offend. If this is not understood, then I would question the value of contributing to this Forum.
