Skylover Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Marilyn has become the star of the show for me by now. Funny considering she was struggling to find where to fit once Lance and Martin had gone. Her scenes with Fisher are just so brilliant, I'm surprised they weren't paired up now as apposed to 95/96. I'm starting to find Paul a bit more interesting as well, I like the story with Vicky Baxter, it's a shame she never has a more prominent role in the show. Alf and Ailsa taking Blake and Karen in seems a bit like stretching believability for me, their links to Ailsa are so tenuous but I suppose they had to live somewhere if the show wanted to bring them in.
Natasha Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 When does Paul leave? I'm so sick of him.
Dibble Investments Inc Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Really enjoyed the entrance of Blake and Karen.... And Marilyn - the star of the show again!!!
Dibble Investments Inc Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 When does Paul leave? I'm so sick of him. Possibly when Emma leaves....sometime soon...
home and away 1988-2000 Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 When does Paul leave? I'm so sick of him. Possibly when Emma leaves....sometime soon... Can you please put a spoiler up, as some of us might not want to know that Emma's gonna leave.
Bobby Forever Missed Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Yeah I agree it is a bit inconsiderate
Dibble Investments Inc Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Re: 'spoiler' - Emma/Paul Firstly, I was being courteous in responding to another forum member's question - I would hardly deem that act 'inconsiderate'. Secondly, no specific episode or date was mentioned regarding Emma's departure - the term 'sometime soon' is deliberately ambiguous, so as not to suggest a specific date, time or storyline. Lastly, given that the episodes are 22 years old (and have been subjected to repeat runs) I find it simultaneously amusing and perplexing that anyone should want to embargo posts with spoiler modifications.
Skylover Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Dibble - I think it's mainly because some viewers haven't seen this era so them Emma could leave in 5 or 10 years time. There's always the [ spoiler ] tags if mentioning a future storyline. I'm gonna be sad when Emma leaves
Ryan Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Dibble, I'm sometimes like you, is it a spoiler, is it not a spoiler. Almost in some things I take to do be so certain that people know they will happen, that they happen is not actually a spoiler. To watch the both episodes every day, there's only two characters whose departure you cannot be certain of.

[/quote) yes the eps are 22 years old however im only 20 so therefore these eps were made before i iwas even born and i did not see the repeat run . i dont mind a general spoiler but when it comes to cast departures or changes i would prefer to stay in the dark
