Dibble Investments Inc Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 I know Michael hasn't even appeared yet, but I do feel as though his arrival and Pippa falling for someone so soon after Tom will feel slightly unrealistic. Tom was the love of her life - and therefore I don't think she would feel ready to move on so quickly. Having said that, I haven't seen the episodes yet so I'll wait before I make judgement. I've never seen Debra when she looked so young, she would have only been about 33 at this point, it's remarkable how young Pippa is. Well it strikes me as ironic that Pippa rejected Fisher's advances (presumably because of lingering thoughts about Tom) yet falls for Michael a short time later....
Lulu1978 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 I always thought Pippa moved on from Tom to Michael too quickly.Although,I did end up liking Pippa with Michael too it took awhile to adjust.Tom had only been dead 6 months when Michael first appeared on the show and 6 months later they married.Tom seemed to be forgotten about like he never existed.

They are still writing her the way she always has been written, including calling Sally a 'Little Madam' and 'Cheeky monkey' etc Stephen's plan for Paul is so dumb, I can't believe he would think up something that daft. Ah a redecoration of Stewart's House, maybe this is when they change the fire place!? Pippa just a few episodes ago contemplated moving on from Tom and maybe even marrying again, so I don't think she ever ruled that out.

Does 2012 concentrate a little too much on sex, drugs and violence??? For example, some cage fight by Brax (or whatever his name is)??? Someone else who isn't fond of 2012 We've already had this discussion and the majority of people also said they found 2012 inferior, sloppy and boring. So again, you are not alone, a lot of people think that way.

However, I guess this way we appreciate every episode we get. I really want the repeats to reach 2004 then I don't care after that. Yes, we have had this discussion before, but I actually find 2012 H&A borderline insulting. The treatment of Irene has almost been the final straw for me. She has been treated with utter disrespect and contempt.
