Yeah we didn't see that on screen. I remember being miffed about that plot actually because they destroyed the original 'Welcome to Summer Bay' sign for the sake of a 2 second picture and in order to further confuse people in the 'Summer Bay Stalker' storyline.

The 1995 bushfire was quite epic Imo It was the first natural disaster on Home and Away, really dramatic and emotional too.

There was also the bush fire in 1995.There was a period during the late '90s/early '00s where the Bay seemed to be hit by every natural disaster except a volcano...

The Bushfire was a good one and I remember being frightened when Shannon(?) tripped over Murdoch's body.

Has there been two bushfires?

Didn't Henry and Matilda find a body in the bush?? I think it was Eve Jacobsen, who Zoe got her indentity from.

I think you'll find that's Zoe McCallister, who Eve got her identity from.(Although none of the characters seemed to remember that either.)Yes, that was another bushfire from the beginning of 2005, not sure if we actually saw it on screen.

Yes, I meant Eve getting the identety of Zoe, not the other way around.

The whole Zoe stalker storyline was great and fun to watch. She has been the smartest starlker yet.

I could be wrong but haven't they brought that sign back and re-jigged it into the Caravan Park sign? I'm sure we saw it when Roo first returned.

^Yeah that sign definitely looked very familiar. I suppose off screen they could have restored the burnt sign and converted for a welcome to the caravan park.

I used to really like that sign that was obviously painted specifically to add a certain 'feel', with the 'Welcome to Summer Bay' on one side and 'You are now leaving Summer Bay' on the other and when certain characters left we would see them drive off past it. Always poignant.

I wonder what happened to that big Welcome to Summer Bay Caravan park that used to be situated at the bottom of the drive up to Summer Bay House/Caravan Park. I wonder if it was constantly left up there and it got burnt down with the house during the fire in 2003. If not, they should use that again.
