Bringing this back to the top for discussion of the episodes. If you've missed them they're on Demand 5.

It's presented by winning contestant Joanna, who seems like she's having fun but she isn't very natural. It would have been nicer if her visit felt a little bit more impromptu, however everything she says and does seems planned as though she ran through it 30 times with the director and the actors before hand. It all appears to be shot on DV, which looks quite cheap. But I'm not going to complain too much, overall it was very enjoyable to watch.

Georgie Parker was a very good sport giving an interesting look around the sets. She made a comment about the bagels in the Diner which I might have completely misinterpreted but I'll let you watch and decide for yourselves! Probably just my dirty mind  . The interview and questions with Emily Symons was fun. She looked a bit uncomfortable at first but began to relax and was very witty. It was nice to hear that Marilyn will continue to have a break from heavier stories for the meantime. The pizza eating competition was awkward but it was fun to see the banter between Esther, Steve and Dan. Especially Esther pretending to mix Steve up with Angelo. Also:

Esther: "What's wrong with Angelo?"

Steve: "He was a loser"

The interview with Ada and Josh was nice, and it was interesting to hear their thoughts on Miles and Leah's relationship and the baby loss. A bit of 'swearing' from Josh was bleeped out, with him saying Leah is being a 'jerk off' to Miles. Then quite a funny exchange between the pair, competing for the character that has experienced the most grief; Leah as a black widow, and Miles with his wife and daughter in the Tsunami. Again Luke was a good sport but also clearly feeling quite awkward about the questioning.

I wonder whether these interviews were conducted early in the morning before episode filming or after a long day? It didn't seem to stop Charles Cottier however, who seems to be quite a character. I especially enjoyed him glossing over the fact he has to share a dressing room, and pretending he lets the other actors hang out in there

I've really enjoyed most of the show so far. A good mix of light and fluffy fun, and interesting backstage interviews. However, I did NOT like the interview with Ray Meagher one little bit - because he's already answered all those questions so many times in just about every interview I've ever seen him in. I'd have liked to have seen some more interesting questions about Alf's character and storylines over the years, and about where Ray would like to see Alf's character in the future.

Enjoyable series, I liked the flow of episode two particularly and the presenter did seem to be much more at ease and comfortable. Its always really interesting to see the studio and sets, nice to see all the cast having fun behind the scenes too. Haha, that cake mix thing was quite funny.

Oh no! I still haven't seen Episode 2, it's not being put up on Demand5 or YouTube for some reason...

EDIT: Looks as though C5 can't put it up because of Axle Whiteheads performance during the episode and them probably not having the 'right' to allow it to be played over the internet.

So did anyone record it? If so please put it on YouTube!

2ND EDIT:

Thank you so much to hij1981 if you read my plea! Second episode was better, but there are only two?

Initially I thought it was going to be a weekly thing over the Christmas period. But two episodes was rather measly. Surely this sort of thing is really cheap to produce. I would have liked to see for example, how a episode is made from start to finish including the writing, pre-production, set dressing/lighting the set, filming, editing, music and broadcast. I suppose they want to keep some things a secret though.

Was Back To The Bay a five minute filler, once per week? I did prefer the content from what I remember.
