The next morning I woke up at 8.45am.

“Babe, 15 minutes till your song is on the radio” I whispered in his ear as he was sleeping.

He stirred. “mmmm turn on the radio baby” he said.

“Is it 2dayfm?” I asked.

“Yeah” he answered.

I turned on the radio and heard the dj say “And in the next 5 minutes brand new music from a brand new artist Liam Murphy from Summer Bay. Stay tuned”

“OMG babe” I said.

“I know I’m getting butterflies in my tummy” he exclaimed.

“Aw your nervous. Don’t be nervous. It’s going to rock. Trust me” I said.

I heard my phone ring.

“OMG. We’re all listening at the diner. I can’t wait” Charlie said.

I smiled. “You’re all at the diner? That’s awesome” I said.

“Yeah you should come by after” she said.

“Alright” I said.

“How’s Liam feeling?” she asked.

I glanced at him. “Well he’s a little nervous” I said.

“Baby, who you talking to?” He interrupted.

“Charlie” I answered.

“Well tell him we all can’t wait and we’re so excited” she said.

“I will. I’ll see you soon” I said and hung up. “There all at the diner listening and can’t wait to hear it”

“Oh god. I feel like I’m literally going to be sick” he said.

“Babe, just take a deep breathe okay? You need to just calm down. Its going to be okay” I said.

“Oh I hope your right baby” he said.

“I am right” I said.

“And now as promised the brand new song from a brand new artist Liam Murphy” said the Dj.

And the song started.

“Oh wow” Liam breathed.

The song ended a few minutes later.

“Wow. What a great voice this guy has. I’m sure he is one to watch. And I wonder who the girl in the song is. Fantastic stuff. Keep listening” the Dj said.

“Babe” I said excitedly. “Isn’t that great?”

“I can’t believe it. I’m in shock” he said.

“Why? I believe it. Babe your so fantastic at singing and songwriting. It’s amazing” I said.

“Yeah it is amazing hearing it on the radio” he said.

“See? I told you” I said. “Let’s go to the diner and celebrate”

“Okay, but first I wanna do this” he said kissing me.

“Mmmm. I love you Mr Rockstar” I said.

“I love you too baby” he said.

“Fantastic song darl” Irene said as soon as we walked into the diner.

“Thankyou Irene” Liam replied putting his arms around my waist.

“So we are throwing this little party for you” Colleen said.

“Yeah mate congratulations on the song” Alf added.

“Thankyou wow this is all too much” Liam said.

“Aw no its nothing. It really is an amazing song” Leah said.

“Yeah I agree” Charlie said. “Now we all know how you feel about Bianca”

He went red. “Yeah well I did want everyone to know” he said.

“Your blushing” Leah noted.

“Am I?”

“Yeah your turning more red by the minute” Leah laughed.

Liam laughed too and hid his head behind my shoulder.

I turned to look. “Wow you really are quite red”

“Well this is the effect you have on me baby” Liam said.

I smiled and gave him a kiss.

“Mate great song” Romeo said coming up behind us.

“Yeah its not too bad” Xavier added.

“Thanks guys” Liam said.

I unwrapped his arms from my waist and went to sit with Charlie & Leah.

“So you must be pretty pleased” Leah said.

I smiled. “More then please” I said.

“It really is an amazing song and it really captures the way he feels about you” Leah said.

“I know it really does doesn’t it?” I said.

“I just said congratulations to Liam. Its a beautiful song” Roo said joining us.

“I’m going to get some drinks... who wants what?” Leah asked.

“Coffee for me” Roo replied.

“Vanilla thickshake” I answered.

“I’ll come help” Charlie offered.

“So?” I asked Roo as soon as we were alone.

“So what?” she replied with a twinkle in her eye.

“Ooh something happened didn’t it?” I guessed.

“Yeah we actually kissed for the first time” she said.

“And, how was it?” I asked.

“So fantastic” she replied.

“Excellent” I said. “I’m so happy for you”

“Thanks”

“Did you talk to Alf?”

“No that’s the only problem. I haven’t had a chance to talk to Dad” she said.

“Well maybe now’s your chance cos he is headed over here” I said.

“So, what are you girls gossiping about” Alf said.

“Ah Dad why don’t you sit down? I need to tell you something” Roo said.

“Uh oh. Doesn’t sound too good” Alf said.

“It’s not a bad thing” I said.

“Okay then. Spill” Alf said.

“Well Dad its just I know how close you and Miles are, like he’s almost like a son to you and I of course am your daughter and well I um”

“Roo just tell him” I said pushing her a bit.

“Okay. I’m falling for Miles” Roo said.

Alf’s eyes lit up. “You are? Has something happened?”

“Well we’ve kissed and discussed our feelings for each other. Dad are you saying your okay if we date?”

“I’m more then okay with this. Miles is a fantastic guy. Your right in saying he is like a son to me, just like Sally was like my daughter but I think that you two would be good for each other” Alf said.

Roo sighed happily. “I was worried that you wouldn’t like us to date. I’m glad you don’t mind Dad”

Alf smiled. “As long as your both happy, I don’t mind” he said.

“See, I told you he’d be okay with it” I said.

Roo laughed. “Yeah that’s why I tell my feelings to strangers” she said.

I grinned. “Somehow I don’t think we’re strangers anymore”

“Yeah true” Roo said.

“Hey so what have I missed?” Miles asked walking in.

“Oh nothing. Just talking to your girlfriend that’s all” I replied.

Miles face was totally priceless.

“Its okay mate. You like my daughter” Alf said lightly.

“Well yeah I do. Alot” Miles said.

“Well mate just don’t hurt her” Alf said sternly.

“Wouldn’t dream of it” Miles replied.

“Okay well I’m going to go to the baitshop” Alf said.

“Oh dad your not staying for the party” Roo exclaimed.

“No got a lot of work to do. It’s a great song Bianca” Alf said.

“Yeah it is” I said.

“See you all later” he said giving Roo a kiss on the check then he left.

Charlie & Leah walked back with the drinks.

“Hey Miles” Leah said.

“Hey Leah” Miles replied.

“So what’s happening?” Leah asked.

“Don’t you two want to tell our friends here what’s happening?” I said looking at Roo & Miles.

“Well, I guess you can say that Miles and I are at a beginning of a relationship” Roo said.

“Oh really? YAY” Leah exclaimed. “Miles why didn’t you tell me?”

“I don’t know” he shrugged.

Liam wondered over here and sat next to me. “What’s going on?”

“Just talking about our relationship” Miles said. “’I’m assuming you know”

“That we have a relationship? Sorry Miles your a great guy but not for me” Liam said.

I laughed. “That’s funny” I said.

“Yeah ha ha. I mean me & Roo rockstar” Miles said.

“I know” Liam said.

“I promise I only told Liam” I said to Roo.

“I know I believe you” Roo said.

“So speaking of Rockstar.... are you going to make an album?” Charlie asked.

“Yeah I’m in the middle of it actually” he said.

“I keep asking him when can I listen to it, he won’t let me hear it” I complained.

“Cos its not ready yet baby, when its ready you’ll be the first to hear it I promise” he said.

“I can’t even get a preview?” I winged.

Liam laughed. “Your sooooooooooo impatient Bianca” he said.

“No just excited” I said.

“Well I hope your still excited when it all gets crazy, with the fans and the paparazzi” Liam said.

“Do you really think you’ll get alot of paparazzi?” Miles asked.

“Don’t you remember when I first arrived in the bay?” Liam responded.

“Oh yeah. That was crazy” Miles said.

“Yeah I remember that. Cameras everywhere” Leah said.

“Really?” I asked.

“Oh yeah. I thought they wouldn’t go away, that they would cause some trouble” Charlie said.

“They didn’t though” Liam said.

“Well thats good then” I said.

“You know I’ll do everything to protect you don’t you baby?” Liam asked.

“I know. Thankyou” I replied kissing him.

“So rockstar I love the song” Nicole said joining our table.

“Thanks Nic” Liam replied.

“Yeah it is quite catchy” Indi said.

“Don’t you mean lovey dovey” Ruby replied.

“Oh come on guys. It’s fantastic” Nicole said.

“I wanna put you in my car and drive. And turn you up loud, roll down all the windows and shout it out I love this girl” Indi started singing.

“If I could press play, repeat how happy I’d be Wherever I’d go I’d have you there with me You’d be right where you belong I wanna put you in a song, oh oh oh” Nicole & Ruby sang.

“Okay you guys” Liam laughed. “Its really odd hearing other people sing it”

“Oh don’t you like our singing?” Indi replied.

“Well, I wouldn’t put it that way” Liam joked. “Just that I hope people get that it’s a personal song with real feelings in it”

“Oh I’m sure people will get that Liam, I don’t see how they can’t” Nicole said.

“Yeah I agree, I think everyone will know how much you love Bianca, even if they don’t know who she is” Charlie said.

“Oh I think they’ll know who she is” Liam said.

“And how well they know?” I asked.

“Well I can put a photo of you inside the album cover” he said.

I smiled. “How about a photo of us?” I replied.

“Really?” Liam asked.

“Yeah I want the people to know that your mine and I’m yours” I said.

“Aw I think I’m going to be sick” Miles joked.

“I can’t wait till your all lovey dovey with Roo. Payback’s a bitch” I laughed.

“Great. Something to look forward to” Miles said dryly.

Roo gave Miles a kiss.

“Aww that’s cute” Leah exclaimed.

“Oh okay now I’m all embarrassed” Roo laughed.

“Hey I just realized now I’m the only single one here” Leah complained.

“I told you to call Elijah” Charlie said.

“Yeah I told you that too Leah. Why haven’t you done it?” Miles scolded.

“Oh I’m just petrified’ Leah said.

“Why? You loved the guy didn’t you?” Liam asked.

“Well yeah I did, still do I guess. I just don’t know how he feels” she said.

“I think you should just trust your feelings and go for it. Cos if you don’t you might end up feeling miserable. Its not a great feeling to feel” I said.

“Speaking from experience baby” Liam teased me.

“You know I am” I replied. “I would have been miserable if I got married”

“Here’s some food guys” Irene said putting a plate of food on the table. “Where’s April love?” she asked me.

“She went out with Xavier awhile ago” I replied.

“Yeah I saw them down at the beach earlier” Ruby added.

“Ah okay” Irene said.

“Did you want her for something?” I asked.

“No, I was just wondering where she went off to that’s all” she said.

“Irene why don’t you sit down for awhile?” Liam asked.

“Well alright” Irene said.

Liam pulled me onto his lap. “There’s a free chair” he announced unnecessarily.

Irene laughed. “Did you just want an excuse to put Bianca on your lap?” she asked.

“Kind of” He laughed.

I put my head on his shoulder. “You don’t need an excuse” I whispered in his ear.

“Good” Liam said.

“I can’t believe its Christmas tomorrow” Leah said.

“I know, this year has gone by so fast” I said.

“Well the first half went slow for me” Liam said.

I looked at him lovingly. “I’m sorry, that was my fault” I said.

“Yeah so you should be sorry” Liam replied.

I laughed. “I promise that tomorrow I would have made up for it” I said.

“Oh yeah that gift. Give me a clue” he said.

“Nope” I replied.

“Come on baby, I want a clue” he winged.

“Yeah and I want to hear your album but you wont let me do that” I said.

“Fine. What if I play one of the songs now then will you give me a clue” he said.

“Yup” I replied.

I sat down in another chair.

“ooh I’m excited” Miles exclaimed.

“Me too” Leah said.

“Well I don’t know if this one will be a single. I like it a lot though” Liam said. “It’s called Someday, Someday”

There was silence at the table as he finished.

“Wow” Leah said. “Did you write that?”

“Yeah I did” Liam said.

“That was beautiful” I said.

“Really?”

“Yeah really. You’ve got 2 massive hits you know that right?” I said.

“Yeah she’s right darl. That was amazing” Irene said.

Everyone agreed.

“Wow thanks guys. I’m glad you liked it” Liam said.

“Just remember us little folk when you hit the big time mate” Miles said.

“Don’t worry I’m not going to change” Liam said.

“I can’t believe I’m sitting next to a superstar” Roo laughed.

“Oh I’m not a superstar yet Roo” Liam said.

“Maybe not. But your going to be” Roo said.

“Yeah” He said. “I’ll be right back I just need air” He jumped up and went outside.

Everyone at the table looked confused.

“I thought he was okay with all this fame stuff?” Charlie said.

“Maybe its moving to fast for him” Miles suggested.

I shrugged. “I gotta go follow him” I said.

Ooooh another update.

Fantastic stuff.

Loved the song lyrics too.

The song in that last chapter is an actual song by a aussie band called Thirsty Merc. The other song, by aussie Keith Urban is about his wife, Nicole Kidman.

They are both rock type songs and I think would be something that Liam would actually sing. And I hope that they explore that storyline in the show abit more, like what ever happened to his deal that he got last year (when he was singing with Ruby and Ruby was cut).

Now read all of this, since those of us in the UK have finally got to the end of the 2010 season, and I love it.It's got lots of humour but the plot's interesting as well with lots of developments.Looking forward to more of it!

I ran out of the diner and found Liam sitting alone on the beach.

“Babe, you okay?” I asked sitting down next to him.

“It’s just a bit overwhelming. You know everything is happening all at once” he answered.

“Yeah it is. But this is your dream. And you’ve got this incredible opportunity to make it happen and I know you are enjoying it. I see it when your sing your eyes light up and your smile is so bright and everything is right in the world. Don’t let that go” I said.

“You know something, you are so incredible” Liam said.

“Yeah well I try” I replied.

We just sat together on the beach for a few moments so I stared out at the ocean.

“Let’s go back inside” Liam said.

“Are you sure?” I asked.

“Yeah” He replied getting up and pulling me up with him.

“Wait, I just wanna do this first” I said and pulled him close to me so I could kiss him.

“That was nice” Liam said. “I love you”

“I love you too babe” I replied.

We walked back into the diner holding hands.

“Everything alright mate?” Miles asked.

“Yeah, sorry about that. I just got a bit overwhelmed by everything that’s all” he said.

“Yeah that’s what I thought” Miles replied.

I sat down on Liam’s lap.

“How do you feel now?” Leah asked.

“Yeah I’m a bit better. And just so you guys know that I’m not going to forget… what did you say Miles? Little folk?”

Miles nodded.

“I’m not going to forget you little folks cos I never forget my friends and that’s what you guys are” Liam said.

“Aw, he’s turning into a softie” Miles said.

“Yeah its kinda weird” Charlie said.

“Oh no, I see this side of him all the time” I said.

“Hey that was meant to be our secret” Liam joked.

“Sorry but I think you let the cat out of the bag” I said.

“Yeah I guess I did. So don’t you guys spread that around alright? Rockstars aren’t meant to be soft” he said. “So how about that clue Bianca?”

“Oh yeah. Well its something that you really need” I said.

Liam laughed. “Is that all your going to give me?” He asked.

“Okay. I know you’ll love it” I said.

“Bianca. What kind of clues are they? I just sang you a whole song” he joked.

“You’ll find out in the morning” I said mysteriously.

“Ah that’s so frustrating” he complained.

“Now whose the impatient one’ I teased.

“Oh come here you” he said and kissed me quite passionately.

“mmmmm” I said catching my breath.

“Now look whose going red” Liam said.

“Babe” I exclaimed laughing. “You just took me by surprise then”

“Yeah well get used to it!” Liam said.

“Okay” I replied just as his phone started to ring.

“Ah I gotta take this, it’s the record company” he said.

He went outside to take the call.

“I wonder what that’s about” Roo said.

“Who knows” I said.

“So I gotta do a photoshoot today” Liam announced.

“For the album cover?” Charlie guessed.

“Yeah” Liam said.

“But its Christmas Eve” Leah said.

“Yeah no time like the present” He said.

“When do you have to go?” I asked.

“Right now baby” He replied.

“Oh okay” I said.

He sat on my lap. “So I’ll probably be back by tonight” he said.

“Alright” I said.

He sighed. “I wanted to spend today with you” he said.

“It’s okay. Go do your thing. We still have tonight” I said.

“Yeah your right” he said.

“Of course I am” I said.

“I love you baby” he said kissing me.

“Love you too babe” I replied.

“Thanks for the party guys. See you all later” he said to the general diner.

He got a chorus of goodbyes.

I watched him walk out of the diner.

“You alright Bianca?” Leah asked.

“Yeah I’m fine” I replied.

“Where was Liam going?” Romeo asked coming up to us.

“To do a photoshoot” I replied.

“On Christmas Eve?” Indi asked. “That sucks”

“Yeah but its for his first album so” I said.

“Yeah true” Romeo said.

“I can’t wait till its in the shops and I can tell everyone hey I’m friends with that guy” Indi said.

“Yeah I can’t wait till I can say hey I’m dating that guy” I said.

“Don’t you mean hey I’m in love with that guy” Charlie teased.

“Alright yeah I could say that too” I replied smiling.

“So what are you going to do for the rest of the day now?” Charlie asked.

“I’ve no idea” I replied.

“Good. Let’s go to the beach” Charlie said.

“Okay” I said.
