I walked outside and put on my sunglasses. I saw Liam leaning on the fence staring out at the ocean I was about to walk over to him when a guy came up to me.

“Hey sorry to bother you but you haven’t seen my little brother Casey have you?” the guy asked me.

“Yeah he’s inside” I answered.

“Great, thanks. I’m Darryl Braxton but everyone calls me Brax” Brax introduced himself.

“I’m Bianca Murphy, nice to meet you” I said.

“So are you single?” He asked me with a smile.

“Nope. Married. Happily” I said.

“Oh pity” he said. He looked around and noticed Liam. “Hey is that Liam Murphy?” He asked.

“Yes correct” I said.

“Wow. I didn’t know he lived here” Brax said excitedly.

“I guess you didn’t know you are speaking to his wife either” I said.

“You’re his wife?” he asked.

“Yeah I am” I said. “Babe” I called him over.

“Hey baby, how did the planning go?” Liam asked giving me a kiss.

“Well we didn’t get much done. Babe this is Brax” I introduced him.

“I’m a huge fan of your music” Brax said in awe.

“That’s good. I can get you tickets to a concert on Friday if you want” Liam offered.

“Really? And for my little brother too” Brax asked.

“Yeah sure” Liam said.

“Good. Thanks. So you said Casey was inside eh?” He asked.

“Yeah he’s in there with Dex , Xavier, Romeo and the girls” I said.

“Great. Nice meeting you both” he said.

“You too” Liam said.

“He seems nice” I said as we walked towards Angelo’s.

“Yeah he does” Liam agreed.

“Hey guys” Angelo greeted us.

“Hey mate. You seem happy” Liam said.

“I’m finally getting some help around here” He said.

“Yeah? Good for you” I said.

“Yeah. This guy called Darryl Braxton. He just moved here with his brother from Mangrove River. Aparantly used to be a member of a gang but he got out of it about 6 months ago and wants to make a fresh start” Angelo said.

“We met Brax earlier. His brother Casey is going to School. I think Ruby has a major crush on him” I said.

“Really? Well if he is nice then I hope they get together cos Ruby deserves something good” Angelo said.

“I agree” I said.

“There’s a free table over there for you” Angelo said.

“Thanks mate” Liam replied. “You want to join us?”

“Are you sure you want me crashing your date?” He asked.

“You look like you could use a break” I said.

“I could use a break you are right about that” Angelo said.

“So how are things with you and Nic?” Liam asked as we all sat at a table.

“Things are great. It is a bit weird talking to you about this though” Angelo said.

“Why?” Liam asked. “Because I used to date her?”

“Yeah exactly” Angelo said.

“Well don’t worry about it. You know I am completely over her and you can tell me anything you want to” Liam said.

“But just remember I’m sitting here and I don’t want to hear all the dirty stuff” I said putting my head on Liam’s shoulder. Liam put his arm around my shoulder.

Angelo laughed. “I don’t think anyone could forget that you are sitting at a table Bianca” he said.

I smiled. “I hope that is a good thing” I said.

“Yeah it is” Angelo replied.

“I know I could never forget” Liam said giving me a kiss.

“Do you have chocolate mousse today?” I asked hopefully.

Angelo laughed. “Yes I made more last night” he said.

“Good” I said.

“Maybe you should put one on reserve in case you run out” Liam said.

“I think that’s a good idea” Angelo replied.

“Oi, am I really that bad?” I asked.

“Yes” Liam and Angelo answered.

“Hmph” I said.

Liam laughed. “I wouldn’t have you any other way baby” he said.

“Aww” I said.

“So I’ll just go put in our orders” Angelo said.

“Okay” Liam agreed. “Did you have a good meeting last night?”

“Yes. We got a few ideas out” I said.

“That’s good” Liam said.

“Yeah but there is so much to do. I hope I get it all done” I said.

“I’m sure you will baby” Liam said.

“So what are we talking about?” Angelo asked returning to the table.

I bit my lip. “Charlie and Joey’s wedding” I said. “Are you going to go?”

“I haven’t made up my mind Bianca” he replied.

“She really wants you there” I said.

“I’m not sure why. I’m her ex-boyfriend. And she’s marrying a woman” he said.

“So what?” I said. “Doesn’t mean you can’t go and support her”

“I know” he said. “It just might be a bit weird is all”

“Yeah maybe. But you can see Nicole though” I said.

“I know. She’s been in my ear about it”

“Speaking of” Liam said.

“Hey guys” Nicole said giving Angelo a kiss.

“Hey Nic” I replied.

“So can I join you guys or what?” she asked.

“Yeah of course babe” Angelo said.

“So, how was Ruby doing?” I asked.

Nicole grinned. “She has got a major major crush”

“I could tell” I said.

Nicole laughed. “She wants Casey to ask her out like right now. She’s so impatient”

“She should just wait till it comes out naturally” Liam said.

“Oh like what you did” Nicole teased.

“Well okay it was a bit different. Is Casey single?” Liam asked.

“Yeah he is” Nicole said. “And Ruby is obviously”

“See, totally different” Liam said.

“Okay babe. It took awhile but we are here now so stop your complaining or I’ll just divorce you” I grinned.

“You wouldn’t dare” Liam said.

I shrugged. “Probably not” I said.

“Only probably?” Liam asked.

I laughed. “Okay I will definitely not divorce you. There. Happy?”

“Yes very” Liam said kissing me.

“You know Bianca it was pretty great having Liam to myself for a change” Angelo said playfully.

I grinned. “Well I’m back now so your just going to have to deal” I said giving Liam a passionate kiss.

Nicole laughed. “I think she’s teaching you something babe”

Angelo laughed. “Yeah I guess so but I can do that too” he said bringing Nicole closer to him and giving her a passionate kiss.

“Mmm that was nice” Nicole said. “Feel free to do that anytime”

“Alright” Angelo grinned.

They kissed again.

“Are you two going to come up for air or what?” Liam asked.

Nicole smiled. “You two are far worse then us” she said. “The things that we have to put up with from you guys you just don’t know”

“Oh you mean like these things?” I asked pulling Liam towards me and putting my hands around his shoulders and kissing him.

“Yes exactly” Nicole laughed.

“Oh good our food has arrived” Angelo changed the subject.

“Yum” I said. “I feel like all I’m doing is eating all the time”

“And it’s amazing that you don’t put any weight on” Nicole said.

“I guess I’m just lucky” I said.

“I guess so” Nicole agreed.

“I would love you even if you were fat” Liam said.

“That’s good to know” I grinned.

I looked across at Nicole. Nicole smiled and turned to Angelo. “So babe” she started.

“Uh oh. I can tell you want something” Angelo said.

Nicole laughed. “Well actually I was hoping we could have Charlie & Joey’s hen’s party here” she said.

“Well I’m not going to say no to something that will make me more money” Angelo said.

“But you don’t mind if we have it here?” I asked.

“I mean, not really. I’m just not sure I want to be here for it though. Might be a bit awkward especially if Morag is invited”

“Oh Morag” I said. “Yes she has to come”

“Yeah she should come” Nicole replied.

“I’ll speak to her later” I said. “We need to set a date first”

“Yeah true” Nicole said. “But we should do it when Ruby’s here. Like maybe tomorrow?”

“Um well School is starting tomorrow so it would have to be after School” I said.

“Oh right, yeah I’ve got some Uni classes anyways” Nicole said.

“Good, me too. I’ll take you to Uni if you want a lift” Liam said.

“I’m not going to say no to a bike ride” Nicole grinned. “My class finishes at 4”

“So does mine” Liam said.

“Perfect. You can take me to your house” she said.

“And I can give Ruby a lift once School is over. Ruby and I will just have to wait till you guys come but I’m sure that won’t be any drama” I said.

“Good. So It’s settled. We will all meet at your house at 4” Nicole said.

“Yes. Sounds good” I replied.

I walked into Leah’s a few hours later.

“Hey, door was open” I said.

“So you just like walked in, no knock or anything?” Leah asked.

I shrugged. “I can go back and knock if you want” I said.

“No don’t worry” she said.

“You okay?” I asked sitting down next to her.

“Just a bit tired I guess. Didn’t mean to snap at you”

“It’s okay. I guess I should have knocked” I said.

“Hey guys” Charlie walked in from finishing her shift.

“Hey, catch any criminals today?” I asked.

“Yeah actually. Can’t tell you what it’s about though” she answered. “Anyway I’ll just get changed and join you”

“Cool” I said.

“So how’s everything with you?” Leah asked me as we waited for Charlie.

I smiled. “Fantastic” I said.

“You’ve got that little grin on your face” Leah noticed.

“What little grin?” I asked.

“The grin you have when you’ve had sex” she said.

“Oh my god. LEAH” I exclaimed embarrassed. “I don’t have a grin”

“Yeah you do have a grin” Charlie said coming back out.

“I don’t” I said.

“You do” Leah insisted teasingly.

“Oh fine so I’ve had sex today so what?” I said.

“Uh huh. Knew it” Charlie said.

I laughed. “Well I am the one with the hot husband” I reminded them.

“I have a hot fiancé” Charlie replied.

“I have a hot boyfriend” Leah said.

“Only hot?” Miles said as he walked in the room.

“Hot and sexy” Leah replied

“That’s better” Miles said giving her a kiss.

“Aww” Charlie said. “I’m so glad you two got together”

“Me too” Miles said.

“Aw, I’m sad I missed the whole thing. Tell me where did you have your first date?” I asked.

“Angelo’s” Miles replied.

Leah laughed. “Miles spilled wine on his shirt. It was sooo funny. I could not stop laughing” she said.

“I’m sorry I was trying to impress you” he said. “I don’t like wine much I prefer beer”

“Right” I said.

“And he was wearing a white shirt so it stained and he had to throw it out” Leah got into a laughing fit and couldn’t stop laughing. “All because he spilled wine on it”

I laughed.

“Oh come on. It wasn’t that funny” Miles said.

“Yes it was” Leah insisted wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.

“Well I’m glad to make you happy then” Miles said.

Leah stopped laughing. “If you want to know the truth it made me fall in love with you even more” she said.

Miles smiled. “Well” he said. “I’m glad it happened then”

Leah smiled and kissed him.

Joey, Ruby and VJ walked into the room.

“Mum keep it clean” VJ instructed.

“Hey VJ” Leah said guilty pulling apart from Miles.

VJ gave her a hug. “I’m kidding” he said. “Do what you want Mum, I know you’re happy”

“Aw, I have the best son in the world” Leah said.

VJ grinned. “Remember that” he said. “I’m going to bed now, goodnight”

“Night VJ” Miles said.

“Goodnight” I said.

“Yeah I’m going to go to my room too. Goodnight guys” Ruby said.

“Night Rubes” I said.

“Night sweetie” Charlie said.

“Well maybe I should go. Leave you guys to it” I said.

“You have that grin on your face” Leah said.

“I do not” I said.

Charlie laughed. “Oh would you just go home and have sex with your husband please” she said putting her arms around Joey.

“Well okay if you insist” I replied.

“We insist” Miles said.

I laughed. “I’ll see you guys later then” I said.

“Bye” they replied.

“Hey babe I’m home” I said entering the house. “You’re not Liam”

Chris laughed. “Correct” he said. “He’s in the bedroom”

I looked at him closely. “What aren’t you telling me?” I asked.

“What makes you think I’m not telling you something?” Chris replied.

“That comment for a start” I said making my way to my room. “Oh my god” I said as I opened the door.

Chris laughed. “Have fun” he called.

I walked in and shut the door. “Babe, what is all this?” I asked.

He took the rose out of his mouth. “Just wanted to do something special for no reason except that I love you” he said.

He had put rose petals all over the bed and floor and had candles lit in the room.

“Aw” I melted. “Thanks babe. You didn’t have to”

“I know that” he said. “Want a chocolate coated strawberry?”

“Ooh yes please” I said excitedly.

He fed me a strawberry.

“Yum” I said.

He smiled and kissed me.

“Okay, more of that please” I said.

“Your wish is my command” he replied.

I laughed as we fell onto the pillows.
