“Well” I said breathlessly half an hour later.

Liam laughed. “Yeah” he agreed.

I grinned. “I’m going to have a shower now” I replied.

“Need some help?” Liam asked cheekily.

“Alright” I smiled.

We had a shower and got dressed by that time it was almost 6. We got into my car and drove to Angelo’s.

“Hey you guys” I said to Charlie & Morag.

“Hey” They replied.

“I’ll go see about a table” Liam said.

We got a table and sat down and ordered our food.

“Um Bianca about your Mother” Morag started.

I sighed. “Do I have a case?” I asked.

“You do. Especially since Charlie told me she hit you” Morag said.

“Right. So what now?”

“I have a date for the case. It will be on Saturday at 2pm” she said.

“Okay. Thanks Morag” I said.

“No worries. I think you’d be able to get visiting rights” she said.

“I need to speak don’t I?”

“Yes but don’t worry I’ll help you. April needs to speak as well”

“Okay” I said.

“Well this is great pizza” Charlie said after a few minutes of silence.

“Yes it is” Liam agreed. “Anyway we should get going if we’ve all finished”

“Yes we’ve all finished” Morag said.

“Okay let’s go” I said brightly.

John & Gina were waiting outside for us as soon as we got there we went inside.

“Well I got to go” Liam said.

“Have fun mate. Looking forward to it” John said.

“Yeah me too” Gina replied.

“Thanks” Liam smiled. “Well see you”

He started to leave. “Hey you forgot something” I said walking to him and giving him a passionate kiss.

Liam grinned. “I love you” he said.

“I know” I replied.

“So where are we meeting him?” Morag asked after the concert.

“Out front” I answered leading the way.

We were waiting for almost 15 minutes for him to come out.

“Does it usually take this long?” Gina asked.

“No” I replied trying to not act worried.

“Don’t worry Bianca. He’s probably talking to people or something” Charlie said.

“Hey guys, sorry I didn’t mean to make you wait” Liam arrived.

“It’s okay. Has something happened?” Gina asked.

“Yes but I want to tell Bianca first” Liam said.

“Is it something I need to be worried about?” I asked.

“Nope” Liam replied. “Come on. Let’s go”

We walked into our house an hour later after dropping Charlie & Morag home and saying goodbye to John & Gina.

“Okay so will you tell me now? I can’t stand this suspense” I said.

Liam grinned. “I just heard that my album went to number one this week on the ARIA charts”

I screamed in delight. “OMG babe wow. That’s amazing” I said.

“I know, I know” Liam said. “And channel 7 want to do a big interview with me”

“Oh babe that’s fantastic” I said giving him a kiss.

“I think they might want to talk to you too” He said.

“To me? Why?”

“Because you’re my wife. You’re what the songs are about” he replied.

“Right” I said.

“I guess you don’t have to if you don’t want to” he said.

“No babe I’ll do it” I said. “If that’s what they want”

Liam smiled. “Thanks baby” he said.

“I do anything for you” I grinned.

“I know” Liam said kissing me. “You are an amazing woman”

“Oh I know” I replied.

“Cheeky” Liam said.

“So can we tell people about this?” I asked.

“Yes I was thinking we could have a get together tomorrow night and invite everyone”

“Awesome” I replied. “Now come on number one let’s go to bed”

I walked into the diner the next morning.

“Hey you guys” I said to Irene, Charlie and Leah.

“Hi” they replied.

“I hope you are all free tonight” I said.

“Why, what’s happening?” Irene asked.

“Just felt like inviting people over” I shrugged casually.

“Any particular reason?” Charlie asked.

“Do we need a reason?” I said.

“No not really” Charlie said.

“So come at 8. Spread the word” I said. “Oh and can I have two coffees please”

I grabbed Charlie while Leah & Irene are busy.

“You tell anyone this and you will die” I grinned.

“Sounds juicy” she said.

“Guess who is number one on the ARIA charts” I whispered.

“OMG” Charlie exclaimed loudly.

“Charlie. Shush” I sighed.

“Well it’s very exciting” she replied.

“Ya think?” I grinned. “And channel 7 want to do a big interview”

“Oh wow” Charlie said.

“I know, can you believe it?” I said.

“Yes I can. How is he feeling about it?”

“He is so happy and excited” I answered.

“That’s good” Charlie replied.

“Anyway” I said as I noticed my coffees were ready. “I better go. I’ll see you tonight and don’t tell anyone”

“I won’t Bianca don’t worry” Charlie said.

“Okay. Bye” I said.

“Bye” she replied.

I grabbed my drinks. “See you tonight you guys” I said to Leah & Irene.

“Bye” they replied.

“Who did you tell?” Liam said as I handed him his drink.

“No one” I replied innocently.

“Bianca, I know you told someone” he grinned.

“Oh okay. I told Charlie” I said.

“I knew it” he said. “Remember I know when you are lying to me baby”

“I hate that you know that” I laughed.

“Yeah right” he grinned.

I grinned and gave him a kiss. “Am I forgiven?” I asked.

“Hmmmm I don’t know” Liam replied.

“Babe”

“Okay okay, you are” he laughed. “Now get on the bike. We don’t want to be late”

“I wonder what Emily will do today” I said.

“Hopefully nothing” Liam replied.

“I doubt that babe” I said.

“What else can she do baby she has already kissed me”

“I don’t know. But she and her friends have crushes on you”

“Are you jealous?”

“Why would I be jealous?” I grinned. “I have you for life”

“Yeah you do” Liam said.

We pulled up at School. I took off my helmet and shook my hair out.

“I love it when you do that” Liam grinned at me.

“Does it look sexy?” I asked.

“Oh yes” Liam said.

I gave him a kiss. “Morning” I said as Miles pulled up next to us.

“Morning guys” He replied. “Ready for another day?”

“Oh yeah. I hope its not as eventful as yesterday” Liam replied.

“Yeah that would have been awkward” Miles replied.

“It was very awkward” Liam agreed.

We started walking into School together.

“So how was your date last night?” I asked Miles.

“Fantastic” Miles said. “I have missed spending time with Roo. I love her a lot and I want to spend more time with her”

“It doesn’t make much sense that you don’t spend a lot of time together since you both live in the same house” Liam said.

“I know right?” Miles said. “But we have different schedules”

“You don’t sleep in the same room?” I asked.

“No actually” Miles replied.

“Well I’m sorry that you have to take detention” Liam said.

“It’s okay mate. I know it’s not your fault. You would not have encouraged this”

“Definitely not”

“Anyway we should get to our classes” Miles said.

“Yeah. See you” I said. I kissed Liam goodbye and walked off to my classroom.

“Ah baby” Liam said as we started to walk to the teachers lounge to have lunch.

“What’s up?” I asked getting this feeling that I wouldn’t like what was coming.

Liam sighed. “Rebecca, you know Emily’s friend? Well she was hitting on me as everyone left for lunch. Now I don’t know what to do about this. What do I do baby?”

“You have to tell Gina” I replied. “Tell her and she can deal with it. It’s part of her job as principle”

“Yeah I guess” Liam said.

“She’s in there. You can do it now” I said.

“I suppose so” Liam said.

“Babe I’m here right behind you okay? Don’t be nervous. Just tell her what happened” I said.

He opened the door for me so we walked in.

“Hey Gina, Miles, everyone” I greeted the teachers in the room. I walked over to the fridge and got our lunches out. I sat down at a table next to Gina and Miles.

“Um Gina can I have a word please” Liam said.

“Yeah have a seat” Gina replied.

“Okay. Well um Rebecca Watson has been hitting on me and it’s making me feel really uncomfortable and I’m not really sure what to do about it” Liam said.

“Great” Gina replied. “Why is it happening now all of a sudden”

“I have no idea Gina. I’m not encouraging it in anyway”

“I know that Liam don’t worry. But something has to be done” Gina said.

“Look we can put Rebecca in detention with Emily” Miles said. “Is it just those two?”

“Well. I’ve noticed some looks from the other girls but there the ones that have done something”

“I can put them in seats on the opposite side of the room so they don’t talk to one another” Miles said.

“I guess that’s what we will do for now. Let me know if anything else happens” Gina said.

“Yeah I will” Liam replied.

“You okay?” I asked as Liam sat down next to me.

“Yeah I guess. I just wish they would hit on someone else” Liam said.

“Me too. Maybe we should get a black wig and a fat suit or something” I joked.

“I don’t need to change” Liam said.

“I know. That was a joke babe a bad one I guess. I don’t want you to change at all ever” I said.

“I won’t” Liam said.

I smiled and gave him a kiss. I forgot that we were in the teachers lounge because the kiss deepened.

“Yo you two” Miles startled me. “Get a room”

“Oh like haha” Liam grinned.

“Ignore him” I whispered. Liam grinned and continued to kiss me.

“Damn” Liam said as the bell rang.

The other teachers laughed.

“You can continue that later in the privacy of your own home you know” joked Regina Collins the Science teacher.

“We know” Liam said. “I better get to my class”

“Yeah I’m staying here for my free” I replied.

“Okay bye” he said.

“I hope you’re not offended” I said to Regina.

“No I’m not don’t worry. I just think you’re incredibly lucky” she said.

“Oh I know I am. So how do you like Summer Bay so far?” I asked.

“It’s pretty good. Nice people. Lovely beach” she said.

“Yeah I agree. I found that out when I arrived here last year” I said. “Hey maybe if your free tonight you can come to our place and meet some more people”

“That would be great” she accepted.

“Do you feel like taking a walk?”

“I thought you were going to stay here” she said.

“Feel like some fresh air. I don’t have a class this afternoon”

“No neither do I” she replied.

“So let’s go” I said.

We started to walk down to the beach.

“So how come you decided to move to the Bay?” I asked.

“Well my sister loves this place” she said.

“Wait. Is your sister Joey?” I asked.

“Yeah” she said.

“Oh good. I know Joey. She’s lovely”

“Yeah she is. I know she’s going out with some woman called Charlie” Regina said.

“I know. Charlie’s one of my best friends” I said.

“Wow. This really is a small town”

“Yeah you will get that a lot” I said. “And speaking of Charlie”

“Hey Bianca” Charlie said approaching us.

“Hey. Have you met Regina?” I asked.

“No. Nice to meet you” Charlie said.

“You too. So you’re my sisters girlfriend” Regina said.

“You’re Joey’s sister?” Charlie grinned. “She’s talked about you”

“I hope you don’t hurt my sister. She’s been hurt before” Regina said.

“Yeah I know she has. I was the one that hurt her. But that won’t happen again”

“Well I hope so” Regina said.

“So anyway how do you two know each other?” Charlie asked.

“I’m teaching Science at the School” Regina said.

“Right. Joey didn’t mention that” Charlie said.

“I see” Regina said. “Maybe Joey felt like she couldn’t trust you enough to tell you simple information about her family”

Charlie frowned. “I doubt that” she said. “Anyway I’ve got to get back to work. See you tonight Bianca”

“Yeah see you” I replied. I turned to Regina. “Charlie’s an amazing person. She is very trustworthy” I said.

“I guess you weren’t there when I had to comfort Joey after they broke up” she said.

“No I wasn’t there but Charlie told me things and I know she loves Joey” I said.

“Okay. I will give you the benefit of the doubt” she said.

“Good” I replied. “Do you want to grab a juice or something?”

“Yeah sure. From where?”

“The Juice bar… I’ll take you. Alf Stewart runs it. He is kind of like a dad to me” I said.

“Hey love” Alf said. “You’re usual?”

“Yes thanks” I replied. “This is Regina Collins”

“Nice to meet you Regina Collins” Alf said. “I’m Alf Stewart”

Regina smiled. “It’s nice to meet you” she said. “I have heard my sister talk about you too”

“Oh young Joey?” Alf asked.

“Yes” she said.

“Hey sis, you came” Joey appeared out of nowhere.

“Hey yourself. How was the job?” Regina asked.

“Great” Joey replied. “Hi Bianca, Mr Stewart”

“Hey” Alf said.

“Hi. Have you seen Charlie yet?” I asked.

“Not yet” Joey replied. “I arrived this morning and I really want to talk to her but I don’t want to be disappointed”

“Trust me. You won’t be disappointed” I assured her. “She has missed you so much. I know come to our place tonight. We are having people over and Charlie will be there”

“Yeah sure. Sounds good” Joey replied. “I’ll talk to her there”

“We can go together” Regina said.

“I want you to come to Alf” I said.

“Sure love. Are you celebrating something?”

“Maybe” I replied. “You’ll find out tonight. Spread the word”

“Will do” Alf replied.

“Great thanks” I kissed him on the cheek. “Anyway I’ll let you two catch up. See you tonight”

“Bye” they replied.

“Babe, you home yet?” I called as I entered the house. I got no answer so I guessed he was still out.

I started to watch TV when I heard a knock at the door so I opened it.

“Hey sis” April said.

“Hi” I grinned letting her in.

“So. Are you going to tell me what this thing is about tonight?” she asked.

“Okay” We sat down on the couch. “Liam’s album is number one on the ARIA charts”

“Wow” April replied. “That’s amazing”

“What’s amazing?” Liam asked.

“You being number one” April said.

“Sorry babe I couldn’t resist” I said.

“It’s okay. And thanks April. I am very happy about it” He said. “And have I got a surprise for you two”

“What is it?” April asked.

“Well” he grinned. “I’ve booked us a holiday during the School Holidays”

“To where?” I asked excitedly.

“LA, New York, Disney Land, Vegas, The Grand Canyon. For 3 weeks”

“OMG” I grinned.

“Luke and Lucy will be coming too” he said.

“Can I maybe invite Xav?” April asked.

“I was thinking you’d ask that. I’ve already cleared it with Gina. He can come provided you have separate rooms of course” Liam said.

“You’re the best ever” April exclaimed hugging him. “I’m going to call Xav in my room”

“Well aren’t you full of surprises” I grinned.

“You happy about it?” Liam asked.

“Babe, yeah it sounds really exciting. I can’t wait” I said.

“Good” he said lying down on top of me.

“April is going to come out any second” I said.

“Baby shush” he said kissing me passionately.

“Oh you guys. I am here” April said.

“See I told you” I managed to say.

“It’s not like she hasn’t seen this before” Liam said.

April sat down next to us. “Please don’t stop or anything” she laughed.

“Okay” I replied and continued to kiss.

“I’ll get the door shall i?” She laughed. “Hey Xav”

“Hey” He replied.

“I wouldn’t go in there” April said.

“Why?”

“There making out on the lounge” she said.

“Oh god” Xavier exclaimed. “How do you stand that?”

“That’s why I’m living at Irene’s” April joked. “Let’s go to my room”

“Okay” Xavier agreed.

“Leave the door open” I called.

“I will” April said.

“So she can hear us?” Liam said breathelessly.

I laughed. “More like so I can know what they are doing”

“I know” Liam said.

I grinned. “Why’d you stop?” I asked.

“Hmmmm…. Nope no idea” he replied and continued to kiss me.

“I’ll just get the door again shall I?” April said about half an hour later. “Hey Charlie”

“Hey April”

“Come in if you dare” she said.

“Why? What’s going….. Oi you guys” Charlie interrupted her own sentence.

I looked up. “Hey Charles”

“I think maybe you should stop doing that. People are going to come soon” she said.

“Right. I can’t do anything until Liam gets off me” I grinned.

“Do I have to?” he winged.

“Who’s idea was it to have people over tonight hmmmm?” I said.

Liam laughed. “Okay I guess I’ll get ready” he said.

I sat up as soon as he left. Charlie sat down next to me.

“How long were you making out for?” she asked.

I shrugged. “I wasn’t keeping time” I said.

Charlie laughed. “You look like you’ve been making out for awhile” she added.

“Maybe we have and maybe we haven’t” I said.

“But its more like maybe you have” she grinned.

“Buckton you are so annoying” I grinned.

“Yes but that’s why you love me” she said.

“Hmph” I replied. “I’m going to go get ready”

“Yeah get that make out session off you” Charlie replied.

I playfully hit her.

“Oi shall I arrest you for that?” Charlie laughed.

“Very funny” I replied.

I walked out a few minutes later to the sound of people talking.

“Hey all” I said. I noticed Joey & Regina had entered. I looked over at Charlie but she hadn’t seen them yet to engrossed in her conversation with Leah.

I walked over to them. “Hey” I said.

“Hi Bianca” Joey replied. “Nice dress”

“Thanks. Um Charlie is over there with Leah” I said. “Go and talk to her”

“Okay I will” Joey replied.

“What’s Charlie going to do?” Regina asked me.

“Not sure. But I think it will be okay” I said.

The next minute Charlie screamed in delight and hugged Joey.

“See there fine” I said.

Charlie caught my eye and pointed to the spare room. I nodded. They went in there and shut the door.

“Hey guys” Miles came up to us.

“Hey” I replied.

“So Regina do you like Summer Bay?” he asked.

“Yes I really do” she said.

“Good. What about the School? Do you like the kids?” he asked.

“Yeah there all pretty nice” she said.

“Sorry I don’t mean to ask a lot of questions. I’m just missing my girlfriend. You invited Roo did you?”

“Yes of course I did” I said.

“Okay just checking” Miles said.

“What’s your girlfriend like?” Regina asked.

“She’s so beautiful and lovely and nice” Miles said.

“She’s an events planner” I added.

“Oh cool” Regina said.

“Yeah oh here she is Miles” I said as Roo entered with some girl.

“Hey everyone” she said cheerily. “This is my friend Laura from America”

“Hi all” Laura said. She looked around the room. “So which one is Miles?”

“That would be me” Miles said.

“Nice to meet you. Roo has told me all about you” Laura said.

“Good things I hope” Miles said.

“Of course good things. There is nothing bad about you” Roo said giving him a kiss.

I walked over to Liam. “Everyone is here now” I said. “Do you want me to say it or do you want to?”

“You can” Liam grinned.

“Okay” I replied giving him a kiss.

I walked to the centre of the room. “Okay you guys attention please cos I have an announcement to make” I said.

I waited till everyone had stopped talking.

“So I just wanted to say that you are all in the presence of a number one artist. Liam’s album has reached number one on the ARIA charts” I announced.

Everyone started cheering and clapping.

“Thank you Thank you” Liam said grinning.

Everyone started to come up and hug and congratulate Liam. I stood back letting him have the spotlight.

Charlie walked over to me. “So thankyou” she said.

“For what?” I asked.

“Getting Joey here. She told me you invited her to come”

“Yeah of course I did. I wasn’t not going to invite her” I said.

“Well anyway I just want to say that we are fully back together now” Charlie said.

I grinned. “I hope you didn’t do anything in our room”

“Bianca please. I’m not like you” she grinned.

“Maybe not but I’m sure those thoughts entered your head”

She laughed. “Okay yeah they did but don’t worry we did nothing in there” She said.

I laughed. “Okay I believe you” I said.

“Hey” Joey came over and put her arms around Charlie’s waist. “That’s great news about Liam. He totally deserves it”

“Yeah he does” I said.

“There’s my baby” Liam said kissing me.

“I’m here” I said putting my arms around his neck.

“Hey just you guys remember there are heaps of people in this house and its not just you two here” Charlie said.

I laughed. “Yeah we know” I said.

“Okay just checking” Charlie said.

I grinned. “Anyway I’m hungry. Going to get some food” I went off to get some food and Liam went to talk to Sid & John.

“Hi guys” I said to Indi, Romeo, Nicole and Dex who were standing near the food.

“Hey” they replied.

“I’m so happy that Liam’s number one. It’s amazing” Nicole said.

“Yeah it is” I grinned.

“So he must be ranking in the money hey” Dex said.

I laughed. “Well lets just say Dex that we aren’t doing do badly”

“Oh good so now I know who to go for to get money off if Dad won’t give me any” Dex said.

“Nice try Dex but no” I said.

“Aw no fun” Dex replied.

“Sorry Dex” I grinned.

“Well at least I tried” he replied.

“So everyone had a good time tonight” I said a few hours later.

“Yeah they did” Liam said starting to clean up.

“Leave that. I’ll do it in the morning” I said.

“Goodnight you guys” April said.

“Night Sis” I replied.

“Goodnight April” Liam said.

I waited till she closed her bedroom door. “Come babe let’s go to bed” I said.

“Sounds like a great idea” Liam replied.
