I looked up as Gina walked into my room.

“Can I talk to you outside Mrs Murphy?” she asked.

“Yes of course” I replied. “Keep going with your tests” I told the students. I walked outside with Gina. “So what’s up?” I asked.

“A little birdie told me about your fight with your mother” Gina said. “Just wanted to see if your okay”

“Which little birdie told you?” I asked.

“Okay it was Colleen” Gina replied.

“Great” I sighed.

“Was it really bad?” Gina asked.

“She hit me” I answered.

“Oh wow” Gina said shocked.

“Yeah but I’m okay, I can teach if that’s what your wondering” I said.

“Okay good. Bianca if you ever need to talk know I’m here okay” she said.

“Yeah thanks” I replied. “But I’m okay. I have the best husband in the world looking after me”

Gina smiled. “Speaking of. I’ve been hearing all good things about his concert”

“And you’d like to come?”

“Yes. And John. If it’s okay” Gina said.

I grinned. “Yeah it’s fine. There’s one tonight. Morag and Charlie are coming too” I said.

“Okay good thanks” Gina said.

“Yeah no worries. I better get back to them” I glanced in the classroom direction.

“Yes of course. See you later”

“Bye Gina” I replied.

“Okay guys, you’ve got half an hour to go” I said as I entered the room again. I noticed April looking at me with concern. I smiled at her to tell her not to worry.

“Okay pens down and bring them up to me please” I said as the bell rang. “Hey April I need to talk to you for a sec okay” I said as she brought her test to me.

“Yeah, are you okay” she asked.

“I’ll wait till everyone leaves” I said.

“Okay everyone’s gone” April stated the obvious a few minutes later.

“Can you notice anything on my face?” I asked.

“You mean aside from the obvious blue and purple mark? No I can’t” she said.

“I knew you could tell no matter what Luke did” I said.

“Luke? What does he have to do with it?”

“No nothing. It was Mum” I said.

“Mum hit you?” April asked shocked.

“Yeah. She heard me at Leah’s and we had a huge argument. She said a lot of hurtful things about how she wished I weren’t her daughter that I was a bad influence on Daniel, which is why she doesn’t want us seeing him by the way, we yelled in Italian and she hit me”

“Oh god Bianca. That’s terrible”

“I know. It really hurt” I said.

“I’m sorry” April said giving me a hug.

“Come in babe” I said not even looking at the door.

“How’d you know it was Liam?”

“I just know his knock” I shrugged.

“You guys okay?” Liam asked.

“Yeah Bianca just told me what happened” April said.

“Oh right” Liam replied. “Let’s go have lunch yeah?”

“Yeah. Want to come April?”

“Thanks but I’m meeting Xav and Ruby” she said.

“Okay” I replied.

“See you guys” April said.

“Bye Sis” I replied.

“Come on baby” Liam said.

I gave him a hug.

“What was that for?” Liam asked.

“No reason” I smiled. “Can’t I give my husband a hug for nothing?”

“Yes anytime you like” he grinned.

“Hey Mr Murphy I went to your concert the other night and you were sooooo good” Emily said.

“Oh thanks Emily. Glad you liked it” He said.

“Yeah my friends and I think your really hot” she added.

“Well I’m flattered but”

“I threw you flowers did you get them?” she interrupted.

“Yeah I got some flowers” he replied.

I was trying hard not to laugh.

“Aren’t you going to help me here?” Liam asked me.

I giggled. “Nope” I said.

“I hope you liked them” Emily said.

“They were nice but Emily listen”

“Oh there’s Rebecca got to go. See you next class” she said.

“So you’ve got a few fans” I could see the girls staring at him.

Liam turned to look. “Looks that way” he agreed.

“Maybe you should tell them you’re not interested” I grinned.

“Oh you think this is real funny don’t you?”

“Yes” I giggled.

“Fine baby” he turned and walked towards the girls. “Listen you guys, I’m flattered but you know I’m married right”

“Yeah but a lot of marriages end in divorce” Emily said.

“Yeah like my parents have” Rebecca said.

“I’m sorry to hear that” Liam said. “But I’m in love with my wife okay and this can’t happen because a you’re a student and b you’re way to young”

“You dated Nicole” Emily said.

“That was entirely different. I wasn’t her teacher” he said. “You’ve got to stop this crush you’ve got because its going to go nowhere alright”

“Fine” Emily said. “But it’s no crime to think that you’re hot”

“It’s very inappropriate” Liam said. “Look I don’t mean to hurt you but its just never going to happen”

I finally decided to go help him. “Ah babe we’re going to be late for lunch with your brother. Your gay brother” I said in case the girls were thinking other thoughts.

“See you in class” Liam said.

We walked towards the diner.

“You’re impossible did you know that” Liam said.

I laughed. “I thought you were doing an okay job, you didn’t need me” I said.

“Clearly I did” he said.

“Yeah you’re right. You did need me”

“I always need you” He said tickling me.

I laughed and started to run to the diner.

I almost bumped into Irene.

“Watch it darl” she said.

“Sorry” I giggled.

She put food down on someone’s table. “You seem a bit happier”

“Yeah. It probably won’t last all that long” I said. “Anyway is Luke here yet?”

“Haven’t seen him” Irene answered.

“He is right here” Liam came in with him.

“Irene nice to see you again” Luke said politely.

“Likewise darl” Irene said.

We sat down at a table and a few minutes later Emily, Rebecca and a few of their friends sat down at a table near us.

“Dude those girls keep staring at you bro” Luke noticed.

I turned to look.

“I guess my talk didn’t get through to her” Liam said.

“Do they have a crush on you or something” Luke asks.

“Yes actually” Liam said.

“Hey you guys” Lucy greeted us giving us kisses on our cheeks.

“Hey yourself. Long time no see” I said. “I didn’t know you were coming”

“I know. We will have to do something about that” Lucy said.

“Yes lets” I said.

“Luc what are you wearing?” Liam asked.

“What, don’t you like it?” Lucy asked.

“It looks a little odd” Luke said.

“I like it” I said.

“Yeah but you’re a girl” Luke said.

“Why yes I am Luke good of you to notice” I grinned.

Luke laughed.

“You better be careful what you say Lukey” Lucy said.

“Yeah I agree” I said.

“Oh look you’re sisters are ganging up on you bro” Liam said.

“I know what am I going to do” Luke said.

I looked over at Emily’s table. “I’m um going to see if Leah’s in the kitchen” I said.

“Okay baby” Liam replied.

I walked into the kitchen and stood where I could see what was going on.

“Hey Bianca” Leah said.

“Hi” I replied wondering how long it would take for Emily to do something.

“Who are you watching?” Leah asked.

“Oh this girl from School, Emily and her friends have a crush on Liam and I just wanted to know what they would do when I left the table” I said.

“Are you a little jealous?”

”What, are you crazy?” I replied. “No I know I’ve got Liam”

“Okay just checking” Leah said.

“Oh shush. She’s walking over there now” I said.

Leah turned to look. “What do you think she’ll do”

“I dunno. Be quite so I can hear” I said.

“Hi Mr Murphy” Emily said to Liam.

“Emily hi” Liam replied.

She sat down in my chair. “So who are these people?” she asked.

“I’m his brother and this is his sister” Luke replied.

“Right. So what are you going to eat?” she asked.

“Ah Emily this isn’t appropriate” Liam glanced at me.

“Why not? We aren’t at School” She said.

“Right. But it’s still School hours and you’re in your uniform”

“So? I have seen you sitting with April Scott and her friends all the time”

“April’s my sister” Liam said.

“I thought she was you’re sister” Emily said pointing to Lucy.

“Yes she is and April is my other sister”

“How is April you’re sister?”

“Emily you know I’m married. April is my wife’s sister”

“Well I don’t see your wife any where” Emily said.

“She’s in the kitchen”

“How come she gets to go in there”

“The owners are our friends. Listen Emily please this isn’t appropriate. I am trying to be nice here but you’ve got to go back to your friends okay? I don’t want to hurt you but like I said before this can’t happen you have got to get over it” Liam said.

“No I don’t have to leave” Emily said.

“I’m going to have to do something” I said to Leah.

“Yeah I think you better” Leah agreed.

“Leah can’t come tonight babe” I said putting my arms around him and kissing his neck.

“Oh that’s too bad” he replied.

“Oh Emily hi” I said as if noticing her for the first time.

“Hi” she replied.

“Mrs Murphy” I reminded her.

“Yes I know” she said.

“Okay well you’re in my seat” I said.

“Sorry” she said getting up. “Have a good lunch” she said awkwardly and went back to her friends.

I sat back down. “That’s getting out of hand” I said.

“Yes I know” Liam said.

“Okay so what are you going to do about it”

“Nothing yet. If it goes any further I’ll tell Gina” he said.

“Oh I think it will go further” I said.

“How do you know that?”

“Because she’s right about one thing”

“Oh yeah and what’s that” Liam asked.

“You are really hot” I grinned.

Luke & Lucy laughed.

“Bianca that is my brother” Lucy grinned.

I grinned. “You’re hot brother” I replied.

“Oh good lord” Lucy laughed.

I saw some of the students start to leave. “Babe I’m going to have to go back to School” I said.

“Okay. I have a free” he said.

“I know” I said. “I love you babe” I gave him a kiss. “Bye you guys” I said.

“Bye” they replied.

“Okay everyone don’t forget about the homework that’s due tomorrow” I said as the bell rang. “Emily can I see you for a moment”

I waited till the classroom was empty. “Emily I think you need to stop this crush you have on Mr Murphy”

“I don’t have a crush on him” she insisted.

“Emily I know you do. I am his wife. And what you want to do is inappropriate and wrong so please just stop” I said.

“Can I go now?” she asked.

“Yes” I replied.

I walked out of the classroom. “Hey I’m going to leave now. I have a free” I said.

“Okay baby well I’m going to my next class so I’ll see you at home” he said.

“Okay” I gave him a kiss and started to walk away.

“Oh Bianca are you leaving now?” Gina asked.

“Yeah I’m going home” I replied.

“Mr Murphy you dropped something” Emily said appearing out of nowhere.

“Thanks” Liam replied.

I turned around just in time to see Emily kiss him.

To my surprise I wasn’t entirely shocked that she kissed him. I was surprised that she had the guts to do it while I was in the same place.

“Emily, wait for me at my office now” Gina said sternly. Emily went.

“This wasn’t my fault” Liam said.

“I know Mr Murphy, go to your class. Don’t worry” Gina said.

“I don’t want to say I told you so” I said to Liam. “I’m coming with you Gina”

“Baby” Liam started.

“I’m not mad. Don’t worry. I love you” I said. “Go to your class”

“Okay” he gave me a quick kiss.

“Have you known about this for awhile?” Gina asked me as Liam left.

“Only today. She gave him flowers at his concert the other night and I know she has a crush on him”

“Great that’s just great” Gina replied.

“We tried to stop it Gina” I said. “And I’m pretty sure it’s not just Emily. I think her friends also like him but they haven’t done anything about it yet”

“Okay thanks for letting me know” Gina said.

“It’s okay. I don’t want this to go further” I replied.

“Emily come inside please”

“I haven’t done anything wrong” Emily started.

“Kissing a teacher isn’t right” Gina said.

“He kissed me” she insisted.

“No he didn’t” I said. “You kissed him. You kissed my husband in front of me”

“Emily why did you kiss Mr Murphy?” Gina asked.

“He is really hot” She said.

“I need a better answer then that” Gina said.

“Okay fine. I hate seeing happy couples. My parents just got divorced but he is really hot” she said.

“That doesn’t make it right” I started.

“Bian I mean Mrs Murphy let me talk” Gina interrupted.

“Sorry” I mumbled.

“I’m sorry about your parents Emily but it doesn’t excuse what you just did. I’m giving you a detention every afternoon for a month and you are to apologise to Mr Murphy” she said. “Actually and to Mrs Murphy”

She sighed. “I’m sorry Mrs Murphy” she said annoyed.

“Okay. I am sorry about your parents” I said. “But you shouldn’t try and wreck someone else’s marriage”

“I know. It was wrong of me” she said. “Can I go now?”

“Yes you can go. Detention starts today. Mr Copeland will take it” Gina said.

Emily nodded and left.

I sat down. “This is the only disadvantage of Liam being so hot” I said.

Gina laughed.

“I don’t like it when other girls try and crack on to him”

“I know you don’t” she said. “I would feel the same way if someone tried that with John”

“Mmm yeah” I replied. “Anyway I’m going to go home. Don’t forget to get Emily to apologise to Liam”

“Don’t worry I won’t” Gina said. “See you”

“Bye” I replied.

I started to walk home but changed my mind and went to the diner instead.

“Hey” I said to Leah, Charlie and Roo.

“Hey so what happened with that girl?” Leah asked curiously.

“Oh well she kissed Liam in the corridor” I said.

“Hold on. Who kissed Liam?” Roo asked.

“This student, Emily. She has a crush on him but she said her parents are divorcing and she doesn’t like to see happy couples” I explained.

“That still doesn’t excuse what she did” Charlie said.

“I know. Gina gave her a month’s detention. Which Miles is taking” I said.

“Oh great” Roo said. “I already hardly see him as it is”

“Oh are you having problems?” Leah asked.

“No of course not. Just hardly get to spend any time together” Roo said.

At that moment Miles entered. “I need a coffee Leah” He said. “Ah babe I have to”

“Take detention for a month. I know. Bianca just told me” Roo said.

Miles sighed. “Okay well. I know we haven’t spent much time together. I want to change that”

“Yeah?” Roo said.

“Yeah of course. I miss you” Miles said.

“I miss you too” Roo said.

“Are you free tonight?”

“Yes”

“Good. We can have dinner. I’ll call you after detention”

“Okay” Roo replied.

“Thanks for the coffee Leah” Miles kissed Roo. “Catch you all later”

Roo was smiling. “I have a date” she said excitedly.

I grinned. “Yeah you do” I said.

“I’m going to go home and see what I should wear” Roo said. “See you all”

“Bye” we replied.

“So what time are you and Morag coming over?” I asked Charlie.

“I don’t know. Do we have time to have dinner at Angelo’s?”

“Yeah I think so” I replied. “We can meet you there”

“Cool. Is anyone else coming?”

“John and Gina” I answered. “But we are meeting them at the Arena”

“Okay” Charlie replied.

“Anyways, I’m going to go home and have a bit of a nap. I’m a bit tired” I said. “See you guys later”

“Yeah see you” Leah replied.

“See you tonight” Charlie added.

I went home and as soon as I put my head on the pillow I fell asleep.

“Sorry baby” Liam said as he dropped something loudly in the room.

“It’s okay. What time is it?” I asked sleepily.

“It’s 4.30” he answered.

“Okay” I yawned. “Time to get up I guess”

“Yeah. Are you alright?”

“I was just a bit tired that’s all” I answered.

“Okay” Liam said giving me a kiss.

“We are meeting Charlie & Morag at Angelo’s at 6” I said.

“Okay. That’s good” Liam said. “So we have at least half an hour to do stuff”

I laughed. “Come here sexy” I said pulling him on the bed.
