We walked back in the room and cut the cake. The cake was a chocolate cake.

I took Liam and our pieces of cake into the next room and closed the door so no one could see us.

Liam grinned. “What on earth are you doing?” he asked.

“I wanted to feed you some cake without everyone watching us” I shrugged.

“Aw I love you baby” he said.

“I know” I said getting a piece and putting it in his mouth.

“Its nice” he commented. “But I should feed you”

“You know this is putting me in the mood again” I said as I took a bite of cake. “It is nice” I agreed.

“Maybe we should do something about that” Liam grinned.

“Here? Are you joking?” I exclaimed.

“Or maybe not” He said.

“Aw Liam. You know I do want to. But I don’t want anyone to walk in on us”

At that moment the door opened and Miles and Roo came in, kissing.

“See?” I said.

“Rats” Miles exclaimed. “You guys are here”

“What are you two doing in here anyways?” Roo asked.

“Having some privacy” Liam replied.

“Right. We’ll leave then” Roo said.

“No you guys stay, looks like you two need privacy too” I guessed.

“Yeah, it’s a bit hard in a room full of people” Miles said.

“Yeah tell me about it” Liam muttered.

“Babe. We do have our whole lives ahead of us you know that right?” I said.

“Yeah true. Like tonight” he grinned.

“Oh yeah especially tonight” I said.

“Don’t be too long you guys cos we have dancing shortly” Liam said.

I pulled him out of the room.

“Do you want some more cake?” Liam asked.

“Actually I do” I said.

“Okay I’ll go get some” he said.

I walked over to where Nicole, Indi, Ruby and Romeo were sitting.

“Hey you guys” I said.

“Well hello” Nicole responded. “I guess Liam loves your dress”

“Oh yeah” I replied.

“That’s good then. I did my job” she said.

“I think you did the best job ever” Indi replied.

“Thanks” Nicole grinned.

“Here baby” Liam said handing me more cake.

“So Liam I hear you love Bianca’s dress” Nicole said.

“Yeah I do, its stunning Nic. I’m proud of you” he said.

“Thanks” Nicole said.

“Your welcome” he grinned and tried to pick me up.

“What are you doing?” I laughed.

“What do you think I’m doing?” he grinned and put me on his lap.

“Mmmmm I like sitting here” I said.

“I like it too” Liam whispered as he kissed me.

Right at that moment the lights went out and we heard Miles clinking on his glass and the lights went to dim.

“Okay you two. Its tradition. The first dance as husband and wife” he said. “So stop kissing each other and go dance”

Our song was ‘I’ve had the time of my life’ from the best movie on earth Dirty Dancing. Or so everyone thought. It came on nice and slow and then it went into the Black Eyed Peas the best band ever. The song finished and everyone else got on the dance floor. We danced for at least a couple of hours to various songs.

Before we left I gathered all the girls and I threw the bouquet.

Ruby caught it. “And I wasn’t even trying to catch it” she said in disbelief.

“Don’t get any ideas Rubes” Charlie said.

“Don’t worry Charlie that won’t happen for awhile yet” she grinned.

I laughed. “Maybe Charlie should have caught it instead” I said.

“Yeah at least she has a boyfriend” Ruby said. “Anyway I’m going to go see Nic so thanks for this”

“Your welcome” I grinned.

“Well at least I won’t have to worry about her getting married for awhile yet” Charlie joked.

“Yeah” I agreed. “Hey listen, we um we’re going to leave”

“Okay, well I’ll get everyone to pack up the presents and everything else”

“Great” I said. “Thanks Charlie, I couldn’t have done this without you”

“That’s what best friends are for” she said.

I smiled and gave her a hug. “I couldn’t ask for a better best friend” I said. “I’ll see you later yeah?”

“Yeah and have fun on your honeymoon” she said.

“You know I will” I said. “Bye Charlie”

“Bye” she replied.

“Hey you” I walked up to Liam who was talking to his parents.

“Ready to go” he asked.

“I just have to say goodbye to April” I replied.

“Alright baby. I’ll be here” he said.

“Okay” I said.

I walked over to where April was sitting with Xavier, Romeo, Indi, Ruby and Nicole.

“Hey Sis, I just came over to say that we are taking off” I said.

“I’ll just say goodbye to Liam then” Romeo said.

“Well I guess I’ll see you in a month” April said.

“Yeah but if you need me for anything you can call me you know that right?”

“Yeah I know” she said.

“Or you can talk to Linda or Alf or”

“Sis I know, I’ll be okay” she interrupted me.

“I know. I know you’ll be okay” I said.

“So give me a hug and go with your husband” she smiled.

“I love you” I gave her a hug.

“I love you too” she hugged me back.

“Okay, bye” I said.

“Bye” she replied.

“Ready baby?” Liam asked.

“Yes” I replied.

“Okay now you have fun you two” Linda said.

“We will mum” Liam replied.

“And give me a call when you get there” she added.

“Don’t worry we will” I reassured her.

“Good” she said. “Bye sweetheart” she hugged me.

“Bye” I said.
