If this was on a Facebook campaign, it would be huge success!

Anyway, Its time to bring back Sally Fletcher, her break from the show is over!

I know in the UK and Ireland, the ratings will be rocket high if she did return, providing the promo campaign is done well before her return.

I suspect Kate has moved on with her life. The best we might hope for is perhaps a short visit for some significant occasion. Maybe even that is a long shot.

Bringing back popular characters might artificially bring brief upsurges in ratings, but the obvious flaws in the show will some become visible again.

Two years ago I would have said count me in but now I say no and here's why.

Sally was great character and 20 years was a good timeline for her and the show has moved on from her. And as much as I love Sally I think her character has run it's course.

Does Kate Ritchie get a choice in this?

I think the show has moved on from Sally now. I wouldn't be against the occasional brief visit to see Miles/Alf but I don't think there's really a need for the character.

After all we've got fantastic characters now like Gina, Liam, Ruby & Xavier, why would we need well written characters like Sally back?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly

Sally carried the show throughout her last few years on the show in my opinion! I don't really care for any of the current characters to be honest, Sally returning would be the best thing ever to happen right now for me!!

I agree the current crop of characters are predominantly crap but I don't think bringing Sally back is the answer as I have no faith that she'd continue to be as well written as she has been in the past.
