Ryan Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Loved John Newton as a character, now that I've seen his brief stint. Don't care that he abuses his children, there was something brilliant intriguing about him that I enjoyed watching. dncllpyx, remember this was 22 years ago and back then children were probably allowed to do things by themselves without parents being wored they'd graze their knee and companies worried that parents were going to sue. I wouldn't say they were better times, but they were.
alexx Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Chris Hale!! I didn't realise he appeared this early on. We also so the Surf Club interior. Interestingly it appeared to have an upstairs!? I dont remember that. Good run of episodes.
dncllpyk Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Todays episode was good. Im glad Sally decided to stay with Tom and Pippa. Ross was so mean not letting her say good bye to Bobby, Carly and Steven. Chris Hale when did you see him? I will always hate him after heHit Shane of his motorbike and just left him there which later resulted in his death
alexx Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 ^Chris was the cop who turned up questioning Stacey and Andrew at the river.
Ryan Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 I was slightly put off put Andrew's absolutely shocking acting throughout that episode and whether it or isn't the debut of Chris Hale, seeing as he was merely credited as policeman.

Sure, he may have covered it up, but out of guilt rather than evil? Also, how did he be an upstanding member of the police force for so long then go sour all of a sudden like that??
Old H&A Fan Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 No accident, you mean to say he deliberately ran Shane down?
dncllpyk Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 If you have even watched ads they saying if you chose to drive drunk or tired its no excuse. You'd know it wasnt an accident Chris drove drunk from a xmas party at Summer bay house. I think it was Terri who eventually worked out it was Chris who hit Shane after he had become friends with Angel. If someone hit your lover and they died as a result you wouldent be so forgiving Yesterdays episode was good. It took me a while to work out where Ive seen Bobbys new boyfriend he was in Round the twist as Lindas love interest Hugh
