Natasha Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Could Sally be any more hurtful to Pippa? I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Even I was getting tired of hearing about Louise this and that. She really was a spoiled brat.
Red Ranger 1 Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Having seen up to 380, I'm finding the whole storyline rather bizarre. It feels as though we're meant to see Sally as being seduced by material things, which is the only reason she'd ever prefer the Keatings over the good old salt-of-the-earth "Once-you've-got-a-photo-you'll-always-be-part-of-this-family-unless-you-accidentally-kill-your-foster-brother's-uncle" Fletchers. And, yeah, I can see that, Sally does seem to be spending most of her time raving on about all the great things they've got.But it's kind of ignoring the fact that Louise actually comes across as a really nice person who'd probably make a great mother, even if she is overdoing the "toys and ponies" thing, whereas Pippa seems to be spending most of her time in the same Sulk Mode that she's been in ever since Tom got his promotion.Seriously, how is this any different to Lynn going to live with her family?(Okay, Ross has probably only taken an interest in Sally because he wants to give Louise a child but he's still been perfectly pleasant towards her.)
Natasha Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 To me it seems that the Keatings are buying Sally's love. The novely will wear off eventually, she is a kid after all. She doesn't realise horses take work.
matty Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Wow, good episode today. The part with Morag was funny and creepy. Can someone please tell me who made the call? I haven t seen these episodes yet.
Old H&A Fan Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Bobby's new boyfriend Danny Price otherwise known as Danny Farnsworth. His father hanged himself, so Danny blames Morag for it because of the heavy sentence she gave him. Unlike Dodge, Danny gets respect in Summer Bay despite his reign of terror against Morag, and is let go by Mr Fisher on the grounds of mental impairment, and is the bastard that successfully hounds Morag out of Summer Bay in the end.
beau_t Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It sucks that this is the storyline that sees Morag leave the Bay. This means that the writers must have already decided several weeks before these episodes to write Morag out of the show. I have no comprehension why. Yes she is a bit of an isolated character but there was still plenty of scope for development. Does anyone know the official reason they wrote her out after such a short time as a main character?

I read somewhere the reason Cornelia was let go was because the show wanted to bring on new younger characters and they did during the end of 89 and early 90 seasons.
codyw1 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 The beginning of the downfall IMHO. Sadly, it worked (in making it more popular). Which possibly proves something profound and profoundly disturbing, but I can't quite work out what.
dncllpyk Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Yesterdays episode was good. Sally shouldnt of caught the bus like that to Ross's house. Anyway what bus driver would sell a ticket to a nine year old travelling by herself?
