Natasha Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Darn I missed Monday's episode! What happened to Dodge? Did Steve kill him or was he arrested?
Old H&A Fan Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Dunno if he was arrested or whether he just gave himself up. They didn't show anything between when Stevo chickened out of punching his lights out, and when he was sitting there in the interview room being questioned by detectives. There are 2 questions I'd like to ask: 1. Because Dodge was a juvenile, why didn't he have a parent or guardian present? 2. Why didn't he get legal representation??

I guess you didn't agree with Steven's interpretation of Hamlet .

Why didn't he get legal representation?? 1) Both sets of parents had washed their hands of him, so it would have been either someone from the Department of Child Welfare or a volunteer that's specially trained to represent juveniles and vulnerable adults in police custody. 2) I guess they ditched the lawyer for reasons of dramatic licence.
hootymcb Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Wonder if we see a reaction from Stacey since Phil was her fiancee. On another subject, I thought I had seen all episodes but I seem to have missed Celia's last episode, anyone know what episode number it was? Did she have a farewell?
Old H&A Fan Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Thankfully, there was no reaction from Stacey, however her thing with Andrew starts getting sexual only a few episodes after Dodge is "taken away".
Red Ranger 1 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Watched Dodge's last episode and...wow.That has to be one of the best episodes ever.Could have been terrible but the combination of the writing and acting pulled it off, the intercutting between Dodge's interrogation and Steven struggling with his role in things worked well.I wonder if they'd always planned to reveal Dodge wasn't the real Brian Knight and everything he said and all the reasons for his behaviour were lies.So is it really simple as him being "just a thug"(or, more accurately, someone whose moral compass is so out of line it's practically non-existent)?Apparently so.It felt like it should have felt rushed but somehow it didn't, everything seemed to fit perfectly. We don't need to see the trial or lengthy scenes dealing with the aftermath, we know the police have got enough to get a conviction, we know how Steven and Pippa feel about it that's enough. On another subject, I thought I had seen all episodes but I seem to have missed Celia's last episode, anyone know what episode number it was? Did she have a farewell? You haven't missed her last episode, she's just gone on holiday. That was in...give me a few minutes to look it up...360.

I had it in my head that it was her leaving the show for good!
beau_t Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Ahh, thanks. I had it in my head that it was her leaving the show for good! She didn't have a farewell as such but there's a good final scene between herself and Morag
Ryan Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Celia leaves the show in around 6 months time (along with about half the cast) and IIRC does it not have something to do with her bike getting ran over by a tank?
