I agree with that.Shane learnt from his mistakes and became a better person.When Dodge was released from prison in 1995,he could have chosen to end his life of crime,but he didn't.

Instead, he comes out of jail all bitter and twisted, after Stevo's blood, 6 years after begging Stevo for forgiveness as you have just now seen in today's episode.
