Ryan Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I think it was in a "Where are they Now" feature for either a TV magazine or the Seven released one.
GameTime Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 On that thought Edward Skylover, maybe I can accept that the whole idea of Tom & "Pippa" being oblivious to Dodge's true character was somehow a deliberate scriptwriter's goof (if not stretched too far) to keep Dodge on the show until the script no longer required him. Ummm how can it be a 'goof' if it was deliberate?
Skylover Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Maybe I was wron about Viv. She's starting to grow on me! She may till be bland, but Mouche put in a pretty fine performance th other day when she was speaking to her sisteron te phone. I don't understad why she didn't fight against her father when he went to lock her in the cupboard again...?

Natasha Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Looks like Father Newton is using religion as an excuse to abuse his daughters. That is so very wrong. But why didn't Viv fight against him? She seems strong enough.
Old H&A Fan Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Good question. It's a shame Mr Fisher and everyone else look up to him as if he were "respectable" just because he's a Reverend, and can't see it despite the fact Viv makes it as plain as the nose on your face she (and Tammy) are being abused. This is why religion is an evil poison. People are sucked in by its "good", innocent-looking mask when the truth is it's a giant scam and used as cover for all kinds of abuse.

So, um, not a fan of religion then?Because speaking as someone who goes to church, has a reverend as an uncle and another one as the grandfather of my nephew, I think I can safely say that Reverend Newton is very much the exception rather than the rule.Even on television.
