Trudy Heine Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 What about when Dodge pretended to shake Milco to upset Sally and then when he cruelly got her to admit Milco isn't real? Felt bad for young Sally (even then Kate was a professional at acting), but what did you think of those episodes?
Lulu1978 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 why has the early years been starting so early does anyone know I have noticed that too.I set my pvr for 8.55 am today and I still missed part of the episode.

Felt bad for young Sally (even then Kate was a professional at acting), but what did you think of those episodes? I saw those scenes again recently on youtube.Great dramatic stuff.I agree Kate was already great at such a young age.I didn't like the way Sally was forced to admit Milco wasn't real, but it was good that she finally let the imaginary friend thing go.
Old H&A Fan Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 That's tough. Little Sally has been provoking Dodge for some time, she brought it on herself with her constant ****-stirring. I'd say she bloody well deserved it! It was cruel seeing the way she antagonised Dodge for no reason at all, and in later episodes "Pippa" sympathising with the little brat when she locked herself in her room as "Pippa" secretly wanted Dodge out of the way too. And just wait till after Dodge is taken away, the stinking little brat whines about the "smell of Brian" in her room, and "Pippa" burning his belongings, not even having the decency to instead take them to the police station.
Skylover Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Are you serious^? I loved Sally even then. All kids are bratty at that age but somehow Sally manages to be likeable despite this. It's weird that I actually believe in her dialogue when she is only ten, as others have said, she is a porfessional through and through and always has been!
Old H&A Fan Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Then why the hell did she pick on Dodge in particular so long?? Bratty is bratty maybe, but why pick on one target in particular?
beau_t Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 That's tough. Little Sally has been provoking Dodge for some time, she brought it on herself with her constant ****-stirring. /spoiler] Can't help wondering what your opinion would be if Sally was a little boy and the Dodge character was a girl I'm sure you'll say it would be the same.
Old H&A Fan Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I fail to see how the 'gender thing' comes into this, or what this has to do with 'opinion'. The underlying fact is this: Sally kept having a dig at Dodge more than Dodge had a dig at Sally. Count the number of times who has a go at who if you don't see the imbalance I see here.
Ryan Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I've always been in two minds about that scene where Dodge gets Sally to admit Milco doesn't exist. I certainly think in the long term it's a lot less harmful than playing along with an imaginary friend.

Uh, seeing that he deliberately set a fire that killed a man, I think that it is more than justifiable.
