codyw1 Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Frank has really turned into a total ass at this point.
dncllpyk Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I have to agree with you on that one since the fire Frank has been a such a jerk. He lost his guitair in the fire he was whinging about it and he didn't even think that he still had the most important thing his wife. Bobby thought that he died. Todays episode was good. Got to see lots of Sally in today episode.
Old H&A Fan Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 & an interesting (if not slightly misleading) look at the computer technology of back in the day. The 5.4" floppy disks containing manuscripts that Morag was missing. What is a "data error" and why did they portray strange characters scrolling down the screen instead of what would really happen in the situation they were in?

The 5.4" floppy disks containing manuscripts that Morag was missing. What is a "data error" and why did they portray strange characters scrolling down the screen instead of what would really happen in the situation they were in? LOL! I remember other occasions when they were clearly out of their depth with computer storylines. In the mid-90s when Irene, Selina and Chloe bought a computer (which they apparently had to go to the trouble of moving and setting up on the dining table each time they wanted to use it) it got a virus which resulted in "Virus Damage" displaying in a large font on an otherwise blank screen.
Ryan Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Even in 2002, when Colleen spilt juice over the school laptop in the diner, they responded by Kelli offering use of her computer to Nick. So, did Nick go around to Kelli's and use the computer. No, they set it up on a table in the diner.
ScreamingQueen2006 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I agree with others on Frank - He's being a right douche at the moment. Poor Steven. Those scenes of his nightmare were like one of those old 80s horror films. Hope Dodge gets found out and locked away. Justice for Phil.
Skylover Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I've just caught up on the last ten episodes or so, and I have to say, it's fairly obvious that the show has hit a rough patch at this stage IMO. The way Andrew couldn't tell that Morag was manipulating his ad Carly's relationship into failing, Dodge committing criminals which he has obviously done, and this Simon guy having gone to prison seems a bit over-kill with the criminal stuff considering recent happenings with Dodge, although I'm uessing tey've thrown him into the mix to be a suspect for burning down the diner (I've only seen Dodge set it alight so not sure of what's to come). The last strong episodes were with Rebecca and also the Morag stuff. Frank is acting extremely out of character, saying he's more important than Ailsa's health.
dncllpyk Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Andrews father died today. Loving Morag here back in the days she was evil. In todays episode she wasnt so evil she was trying to get Roo away for a reason accept Roo thought she was driving her away. I found it weird that Roo and Bobby are friends at the point considering they were love rivals.

I found it weird that Roo and Bobby are friends at the point considering they were love rivals. I think Roo and Bobby being friends at that point shows how much both of them had grown as characters since the start of the series.Roo was no longer the selfish and manipulative and Bobby had changed from the hurt, angry girl into a more caring person but still with an edge.I like that they became friends.
Skylover Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Yeah, I like Roo and Bobby being friends. Ok, I've seen the whole of the aftermath now of Philip's death, and it's made me realise how much I dislike Steven (or Steve - when did they start calling him that or have they all along?) I feel like it's a bit harsh killing of Phil in a fire just as Steven's parents did. The scenes during which Steven was runnin around like a headless chicken were laughable, culminating in him hurting Martin. I'm not that impressed with this actor. I think it' hard to invest in his pain because Philip and Steven never seemed to interact whatsoever so it's hard to believe that he'd be so affected. I loved the dream sequence, however. Extremely creepy and it created the desired effect. Am I the only one who feels like Steven's a fairly weak character?!
