I would be surprised if Matilda made it to the top ten - what about Oliver Philips? Everyone loved him!! Matilda's definitely in the top 10 and I have no idea why. Towards the end her and Ric might as well have been in a completely different show for all the interaction they had with anyone else. When people like me complain about that teen group and how their personalities had no continuity and would change from episode to episode depending on whatever storyline was being thrown at them, Matilda is who I'm talking about. Well, her and Lucas. And Drew. But mainly Matilda. In order, I predict: 1. Sally. 2. Irene. 3. Aden. 4. Belle. 5. Martha. 6. Matilda. 7. Miles. 8. Charlie. 9. Leah. 10. Alf

Whenever a gay couple/storyline comes on a show then they build the biggest fanbases possible! I've seen it happen a couple of times. We may be stereotyping the Joey fans but its a fact that she wouldn't be half as popular than she is/was if she was straight. I wouldn't mind but it was one of the most epic fails of a storyline I've ever seen on television. I'm rooting for Sally!! Sally FTW!! Angelo ? Seriously ? how awful is that! It's tough cheese for Angelo. I wonder how much notice the producers will take of the outcomes of these polls, none at all I imagine. As for the Joey fans, I could make similar sterotypes about Angelo fans but I wouldn't be allowed. Double standards. I'm glad Joey did well, tell the producers that we don't want an endless supply of cookie cutter "pretty boy" character like Romeo and Xavier(who look like the same person most of the time).

I have nothing against her but I am shocked she has polled higher than Morag or Marilyn!

Foxy Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Some interesting results there - whilst Irene falling off the wagon wasn't particularly good, I thought the cause of that was quite a big storyline for her. Infact I'd go as far as to say that the episode in which she told Charlie(?) what happened on the boat is probably the best thing they produced all year. Top three is interesting - two I expected to be up there and one I definitely didn't, if I'm reading the poll correctly...
charmed60 Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Thank you Ryan, I love reading your comments If I'm guessing correctly and I fear that I am, there's a particular character in the top three, possibly number 1 that I really don't understand why they're there. I didn't think said person was even liked on this board, let alone topping the poll. It's amazing what a controversial storyline can do for you I'm quite surprised that Matilda's polled so highly to! I never disliked her but didn't think she was enough of a 'sensational' character to be so high near on two years after her departure.

I don't know why Charlie is in the top 3 at all, there are plenty characters that deserve it more than her. and Belle ? Only 4th place ? I thought she would have come slightly higher, maybe even thought she would win! This is down to Sally and Aden!! Come on Sally you can do it I think itll go 3rd ; Charlie , 2nd ; Aden and 1st ; Sally but I do think its going to be very very close between Aden and Sally with him maybe pipping her to it!! I hope Sal wins
