Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 what moments/scenes in the shows history or anything really define home and away for you? examples... martha talking to jack even though he's laying dead in hospital amanda and jazz slapping each other other at leahs bobby reading alans letter after his passing bobby coming ouit of the fridge roo stepping out of a flash car in heels after being 'morag'ed' in the city sal' loosing her virginity and regretting it pippa changing over night the burger phone in the diner casey leaving without even a goodbye from donald! marilyn and rebecca bickering over which way to place the cups in the cupboard! stephenie falling off a cliff and talking to her dead sister as she passes irene pushed down the stairs by damo diner jukebox! martha pole dancing! i hope this topic can provide some disccussion and remind people what they love about the show to begin with! thanks for reading

And Sally leaving is the other one because she was the last Fletcher to leave the Bay and after that it was just a show about people in a town.

And Rebecca wanted them the other way because of condensation or something... I remember that! I think my favourite totally random scene was when Irene was playing scrabble with Selina and Chloe. Irene made a word (I can't remember what it was unfortunately) and Selina and Chloe wouldn't let her have it, because they were sure she was just making it up. Anyway, Irene loses it and goes into this hilarious rant about Don Fisher and the education system. And they still wouldn't let her have the word!

I can remember well in an episode Chloe was being chased through the bush and she almost ran into a bear trap. Also I remember Selina being kidnapped and held captive somewhere, also when the Nash's were almost killed after Robert? set fire to their house!

But I just remember something about Steven and Selina and she must have thought he was gone (?) because the way it was shot he then appeared walking in the middle of the road back to her. I really have no other details than that, lol. Then there were all the crazy things Vinnie did like getting hit in the head and passing out and waking up and seeing Justine (I think!) One of the not so happy moments that I will always link to haa as well was when Joey tried to smother Irene with the pillow. Maybe because I was so young and it just creeped me right out.

Man, that storyline was awesome. I remember when that little monster (spoken with affection) Duncan tried to frame Joey by putting a massive knife under his pillow.

When a raft that Sally, Chloe, Shannon and Selina were on broke up and Sally went missing Rebecca falling off a chair and going deaf for a while Chloe coming home to find animal traps all over the floor When Mud tried it on with Selina When Paul was kidnapped from hospital and Irene's heartbreak When Pippa left When Ailsa came back from the dead When Dani knocked Kane down The Mirgini disaster Emma's face when Donald went to school dressed as a punk When Sally was stabbed - both times, but the first was way more emotional over the Will Sally Survive? campaign When Sally and Miles were reunited When Alf knocked Pippa junior down When Sally left When Flynn died When Shannon's boyfriend pushed Pippa The speeches at Alf's 60th and then Chloe's death When Angel was being stalked When the sea plane crashed (with Angel onboard) Jack and Martha's barn wedding When Tasha pushed Morag into the pool The earthquake - probably one of my most favourite scenes ever! The flood A scene with Alf and Irene in the Diner when they found out Angie Russell had a lookalike When Alf pushed Morag down the Diner stairs (when Ailsa was back from the dead) Alf and Morag finding out Colleen was their sister The burger phone, I now have one in my house!!
