H&A Summer Break on Fiver

It would be nice if they picked up The Channel 5 Years but after three years it seems unlikely.Best we can hope for is some decent repeats during the summer break rather than the same old episodes(oh, Jack and Martha's wedding blows up again...)or stuff that's only a few weeks old.(The Best of 2009 run at Christmas was the worst, especially since it was practically Best of the Second Half of 2009, starting with Jack's funeral and then skipping about the next four months.)

Problem is you just know that there's people out there who don't want to see episodes featuring old characters and don't remember anything older than six months.When you have viewers' polls to see which episode they want to see, you can bet the most recent one will win.

I agree that they should show the Sutherland era, I think it's been my favourite so far.

But I would absolutely love to see the Sarah Lewis storyline again, or even just the episode where she held literally the whole Bay hostage at Leah's house

I missed most of the June Reynolds kleptomania storyline, so would love to see some Rowena episodes repeated. Also, I agree that it would be great to see some Angie episodes again!

This year's break is 5 weeks, with the final episode being 5125 on 30th July - the return will be Monday 3rd September.

At that point the UK will be 6 weeks behind.

Maybe someone should email "Fiver" or better still give them a link to this topic so they can see the kind of eps that UK fans want repeated

I thought it would be 5 weeks and I probably thought that was the most likely date as well.To be honest, it's crept up on me a bit, I was thinking it was a long way off and now it's only four weeks.

So...5 weeks, that potentially gives us 50 episodes repeated.Surely there'll be some stuff in there we haven't seen recently..?Actually, as I remember there was some decent stuff in last year's summer break, despite an annoying tendency to show three episodes from a recent storyline and only one from a storyline six years ago.

^^ Yes, that was irritating - hopefully more 'old' episodes this time. I'd love to see a baddies theme to this summer - some classic Angie, Saul, Corey, Sarah, Kelli or even Johnny episodes would be fab! Here's hoping

I thought they'd do a long break this year being so dangerously close to Australia, otherwise they'll run out of episodes very quickly after the season finale.

Need more pre Dan Bennett stuff on really.

i would like them to air the older storylines because i've only heard about most of them and never actually seen them. i think they should do the sarah lewis storyline because it sounds like it was really good and i've never actually seen it!
