alexx Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 I'm glad they have never gone down that route with Irene and Alf, it would just be cheap and mess up the characters history. Also look at Irene's previous boyfriends - all absolutely nothing like Alf, likewise Ailsa and Irene. It wouldn't make any sense for them to be attracted to each other romantically.

What do you mean 'likewise with Ailsa and Irene'?
alexx Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Irene and Ailsa were very different types of women, personalities, points of view etc
MeganSaturday Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Nah I think it would just look like the writer's can't think of anything better to do and decided to put the two characters closest in age together. They work too well as friends.
~Stella~ Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I think they are too good as friends to waste it be having them romantically involved.
Nasty_robinson Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 I like the idea of them as a couple?
beau_t Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I like the idea of them as a couple? Ok and while we're at it let's pair up Morag and Miles, lol Seriously, there's got to be SOME single people in the Bay.
