Helen is talking to Bev.
Helen: Are you excited about tomorrow?
Bev: I’m worried about Kierain.
Helen: Why is that?
Bev: His hand.
Helen: He'll be fine.
Bev: He has been weeping with pain after every game.
Helen: I think he has a point to prove.
*Bev doesn’t look convinced*
Bev: What point?
Helen: I think he wants to be like his idol, Darren Millane.
Bev: But he’s going to kill himself.
Helen: Try talking to him then.
Bev: Have you ever tried talking Kierain out of something?
Helen: Yes and failed.
Bev: When?
Helen: When he had enough of Tom’s nonsense.
Bev: What happened?
Helen: Tom got annoyed that Pippa was giving Kierain attention, so he decided to send him to live with an aunt in the city.
Bev: Which Aunt?
Helen: Lisa-Ann.
*The front door closes and Nick and Todd enter*
Todd: We’re back.
Bev: Todd, have you done your homework?
Todd: Finished the lot. *smiles*
*Kierain enters, having come back from training*
Bev: Love?
*Kierain is wincing in pain*
*Bev looks at him*
Bev: Love, I think you should rest up.
Kierain: Thanks, but no. *smiles*
Bev: You’ll only make that hand worse.
Kierain: It can’t get possibly any worse.
Bev: Your health comes first, love.
*Helen restrains Bev*
Helen: I think he’s made his mind up.
*Bev looks annoyed*
Nick: What is he doing?!?
Bev: I know. It’s crazy.
*Todd sighs*
Helen: Darling?
Todd: I wish I had the balls to play for the finals including a draw with a broken hand. *looks left out*
Bev: Oh, grow up!
*Helen gets serious with Bev*
Helen: Show some respect, Beverly Marshall!
Bev: But…
Helen: EITHER SHOW RESPECT OR GET OUT!!!
(Kierain is staying with Lyn Scully)
Lyn: The girls can’t wait to see you.
Kierain: Are you all coming tomorrow?
Lyn: Except Flick.
Felicity: Because AWBL is boring as hell!
Kierain: So is standing around in a hotel all day.
Jack: Sucked in, Flick!
Felicity: You're a smart****, Kierain Geaney.
Stephanie: Yeah.
Kierain: So? At least I have popularity.
*Felicity and Stephanie crack up laughing*
Felicity: No one likes him!

The next day, everyone in both Summer Bay and Erinsborough arrive at the MCG.
Toby: Kez better win.
Joe Scully: No chance kid. It'll be Colliwobbles even in August.
Michelle: What do you mean, Dad?
Joe Scully: They haven't won a flag since 1939. What makes this year so different?
Lyn: Erinsborough for the win.
(The game is well into the first Quarter with the scores at 12 plays 0 when Kierain gets a goal from the boundary making it 6 to 12 with Erinsborough winning.)
Lyn: COME ON ERINSBOROUGH!
*However, Nick levels the scores a minute later*
Hilary: Let’s go Erinsborough! Summer Bay are nothing but losers from New South Wales!
*Kierain is seen intimidating Toadie*
Kierain: BRING IT!
*Toadie backs away as Scott runs over*
Scott: What happened?
Kierain: Someone had a shot at Nick!
*Toadie pushes Kierain over*
Toadie: Liar!
*Kierain grabs Toadie's Guernsey. Toadie gets scared*
Kierain: WHAT?!?
Toadie: N-nothing.
*Rivers separates them*
Rivers: Chill, guys.
*the Quarter Time siren sounds. We see Scott push Matt*
Matt: Don’t shove me, mate!
*Suddenly, a big brawl erupts*
Pippa: Oh gosh!
*Dorothy glares at Pippa*
Pippa: What are you STARING at, dragon?!?
Dorothy: SHUT UP!!!
(Halfway through the 2nd Quarter, the scores are Summer Bay 57 Erinsborough 23.)
Lyn: COME ON ERINSBOROUGH!!!!
*Joe Scully is red*
Joe Scully: This is ridiculous!!!!
*Joe Mangel laughs*
Joe Mangel: On ya, Kez!
*The half-time siren sounds*
Joe Scully: They’ll make a comeback!
Hilary: They better.
*they see trainers inject Kierain’s hand*
Hilary: What on EARTH?!?
Bev: Quiet, Hilary!
Todd: Aunt Bev, how did you get him to take painkillers? He said he wouldn't after his uncle
Bev: Convinced him.
(During the 3rd Quarter, Toadie shoves Nick to the ground)
Toadie: Take that!
*Kierain storms over*
*Toadie backs away*
Kierain: What happened?
*Rivers and Matt arrive and Toadie starts backing away again*
Matt: He's hurt.
*Lance and Phil run out*
Phil: Who’s the injured?
*Lance helps Nick up*
Lance: Come on mate.
Kierain: *enraged* WHO PUSHED HIM?!?
*Toadie looks scared*
Kierain: I WANT AN ANSWER!
*Umpires break up the sea of players*
Umpire: Move along, fellows.
*Hilary is ranting at the score of 66 to 30 Summer Bay's way*
Hilary: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!?
*Toby is excited by this*
Toby: Yay!
(A few minutes later, the 3 Quarter Time siren sounds with the scores at 77-36 in favour of Summer Bay.)
Hilary: HOW?!?
*Joe Scully looks defeated*
Joe Scully: We’re done for now.
Hilary: WE WILL NOT FAIL!
Announcement: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Grand Final sprint. In lane 1, PAUL ROBINSON!
*Hilary looks livid as Paul does his sprint*
Announcer: Lane 2: Troy Luff from Sydney.
*As the announcer goes on, Hilary decides to argue with Pippa and Celia.*
Hilary: SUMMER BAY ARE JERKS!
*They ignore her*
Announcer: Lane 5 Nick Poulous from Summer Bay.
*The race begins*
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like it's a Magpie day. The winner NICK POULOUS!
*Everyone applauds except Hilary*
Hilary: We were cheated!
*Lyn finally blows her stack*
Lyn: EXCUSE ME??? A FRIEND OF OUR FAMILY AND YOURS IS PUTTING HIMSELF THROUGH EXTREME PAIN TO ENSURE HIS MAGPIES WIN! WOULD YOU HAVE THAT BRUTE STRENGTH??
*Hilary goes timid*
Hilary: Well, no.
Lyn: EXACTLY!
*Joe Scully turns on Hilary*
Joe Scully: Old coyote!
(Halfway through the Final Quarter, Erinsborough have only scored 4 behinds to put them at 40 while Summer Bay are at 83.)
Hilary: THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!
*Kierain scores a goal (89-40)*
Hilary: FOUL!
*A few seconds later, Paul hits the post. (89-41)*
Hilary: Score higher!
*Nick passes the ball to Kierain in the back pocket*
Nick: Go for it, Geaney.
*Kierain signals for the others to spread out*
Kierain: *to himself* Here goes.
*the siren sounds and Kierain throws the ball in the air*
Hilary: NO! NO! NO!
*Joe Scully is livid*
Joe Scully: HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!?
*Todd and Nick Page jump over the fence*
Todd: Congrats mate!
*The umpire looks at Kierain as he stuffs the ball up his Guernsey*
Umpire: Great job, Kezza.
*Kierain throws the ball into the stands. Bev catches it*
Bev: Yes!
*Hilary storms out*
Bev: She’s the loser.

In the car later, Bev hugs him as he‘s weeping in pain.
Bev: I'm sorry I doubted you. You did a magnificent job.
*Bev carries him into the house*
Bev: Helen, can we use your room? You’re the only one with the rocking chair.
Helen: Of course.
*Bev takes Kierain to Helen’s room and rocks him on the chair*
Bev: Will you rest up tomorrow? *smiles*
Kierain: Will you be here?
Bev: Of course.
*he rests on her*
Bev: Rest up, love.
*Bev rocks him*
*Lyn gently enters*
Lyn: How is the champ?
*Kierain stirs*
*Bev strokes and kisses him*
Bev: He’s sore.
*Lyn opens her arms*
Bev: Here.
*Lyn hugs Kierain and sits on the chair*
Lyn: Good game.
*Kierain stirs again*
*Lyn adjusts her arms*
Lyn: Get comfy.
(At the Scully’s flat, Joe is ranting and raving about the loss.)
Joe: WE STANK! WHAT A SHOCKER!
Stephanie: I can’t believe Meals on Wheels pulled that off.
Jack: What do you mean?
Stephanie: Come on, Jack. We all know that victory was a fluke!
*Michelle loses her cool*
Michelle: DARE YOU TO DO THAT STEPH!
Stephanie: SHUT UP, NERD!
Joe: STEPHANIE!
*Stephanie rolls her eyes*
Felicity: Daddy?
Joe: Yes?
Felicity: I want to go shopping tomorrow.
Joe: Sure.
Stephanie: Why’d we move into this flat for? There aren’t enough bedrooms.
Michelle: *mocking Stephanie* Whinge, whine, groan, moan, bitch, gripe!
Joe: GIRLS!
(At Number 26, Kierain is restless in Lyn’s arms.)
Lyn: Love?
Kierain: Hmm?
Lyn: Wake up. I think it’s time for din din.
*After dinner, Bev rocks him*
Bev: I love you. Did you want to sleep with me?
Kierain: But people will think we’re…
Bev: In separate beds, I mean. If you need comfort, just come in.
*He nods. She picks him up*

Nick is hanging with Kierain and the rest of his AWBL mates at the diner after training.
Nick: Great practicing guys.
Kierain: We sure had a great time out there.
Matt: Of course we did. We won this years AWBL Grand Final after all.
Lance: Eh, it sure was.
Nick: Darren Millane would be so proud of our captain, here.
Kierain: He’s my idol.
Nick: Of course he is. You’re very lucky that you know his family. *smiles*
Kierain: I sure do. *smiles*
John Lu: I hear there’s a party at Renee Cole’s place tonight.
Kierain: I don’t know if I can go. I’ve got school tomorrow.
Nick: You’ll be graduating soon enough, mate.
Kierain: You missing your friends in Hartley?
Nick: Of course I do. I can always fly up to Queensland and see them.
*Nick and Kierain shake hands*
(At 2:50am the following morning, October 6, Nick and Kierain are at Stewarts Point. They had left Renee’s party about an hour earlier.)
Nick: I love the view.
Kierain: Be careful, Nick.
*Nick stands on the cliffs edge*
Nick: The view is just breathtaking. The water is just great.
*Suddenly, Nick slips off*
Kierain: Nick!
*Kierain races over to Nick and tries to grab hold of him, but it’s too late. Nick falls into the water below*
Kierain: NICK!
*No reply*
Kierain: Oh no! *yelling while having tears in his eyes* NICK!!!!!!!!!!

Nick‘s body wasn‘t found until March 2, 1989.

Matt: Nick was a good player a tough man and a great Friend i'd some it up to say he was my best friend and it's gonna be hard the day that i get married cause i went have the best man beside me
*Alf takes the alter*
Alf: Nick's sudden death has brought us sorrow and shock and deep ties of love loyalty and friendship are involved and this day mum and dad and daughter your family has not gone down to 3 it's five hundred and thousand and 3 because every one of the Summer Bay fans are with you we're sad with you we weep for you we bleed for you and one day we'll laugh with you again
*Kierain takes the stand*
Kierain: we've got a trait in Australian blokes that we don't tell people we love them until their gone it's a macho thing i think and it's a real shame because if I could say to Nick now that I loved him and I think the players would too that he was one man who gave the Summer Bay club a bit of life
*the coffin is carried out*
Song: *sad* good old Summer Bay forever they know how to play the game side by side they stick together to uphold the magpies name hear the barrickers are shouting as all barrackers should oh the premiership's a cakewalk for the good old Summer Bay

Helen answers the phone.
Helen: Hello?
Kierain: Gran?
Helen: Oh, hello Kierain.
Kierain: I’ve been kicked out.
Helen: WHAT?!?
Kierain: Yes.
*Earlier that night…*
Tom: GET OUT OF HERE YOU MONGREL!!!
Pippa: Kierain, I love you. But we can’t have you back after what you did, so I’m afraid you have to move out.
*Kierain leaves*
Kierain: Thanks for nothing, jerks!
*Back to the present time*
Helen: Where are you staying?
Kierain: Can I stay with you?
Helen: I’d be happy to, but we’ve got Jim’s extended family staying.
Kierain: Oh great! So, I’m just suppose to sleep in my car?!?
*Helen tries to back track*
Helen: I’m sorry, but…
*Kierain hangs up*
Helen: Blast! *calls Pam*
Pam: Pam Willis?
Helen: *scared* Pam?
Pam: Helen, what’s wrong?
Helen: Kierain rang me on his car phone. He was kicked out and going fast.
Pam: Oh dear. I'd let him stay, but FAYE decided to come at the last minute!
Helen: Can’t you suggest anyone?
Pam: I’m afraid not.
(Meanwhile, Joe Scully and Mangel are getting ready to drive a truck full of gardening and building supplies.)
Joe M: You all good to go?
Joe S: Sure am. Why is Toby coming with us?
Joe M: Can’t he help his Dad out?
Joe S: Just asking. Where are we going?
Joe M: We’re going to Yennora.
(At 4:50am, they are at traffic lights on Old Bay Road.)
Joe S: We should be there in two hours.
Toby: Dad?
Joe M: Play your Game Boy if you’re bored.
*10 minutes later, the truck jolts*
Joe S: What was that?
Toby: MR SCULLY STOP! WE'VE HAD A CAR ACCIDENT!
*Both Joe Scully and Mangel see Kierain’s car*
Joe M: Oh god. Oh bloody hell.
Joe S: Call an ambulance!
Toby: Dad?
Joe M: Stay in the truck, Tobe. It’s an awful accident.
(News of the accident hits local TV screens that day)

Natalie: Summer Bay are in prayer tonight for Kierain Geaney. The 18 year old slammed into a semi trailer on Old Bay Road at 5:00 this morning.
Pam: Dear god. *looks sad*
*Tom and Pippa are watching the story on Ten News*
Katrina: 18 year old Kierain Geaney, a larrikin star of AWBL, is unconscious tonight after he clipped the rear of a slow moving semi trailer in Summer Bay early this morning.
*Pippa bawls her eyes out*

*Pippa runs away*

*Faye laughs*

In the hospital, Brenda Carpenter is volunteering in his room.
Brenda: How's the patient?
*Brenda strokes his hair*
Kierain: *mumbling* Pippa….
*Brenda comforts him*
Brenda: It’s okay youngster.
*Pam enters*
Pam: My chook. *cries*
Brenda: Pam?
Pam: Oh, he had an accident. I could kill Faye for this. *cries*
Brenda: Why?
Pam: *sobbing* BECAUSE SHE’S SELFISH!
Kierain: Pam…
*Pam holds his hand*
Pam: Chook?
*Kierain continues to mumble gibberish*
Kierain: Truck…
*Pam looks at Brenda with tears in her eyes*
Brenda: What can I do?
Pam: *sobbing* Look after him.
Brenda: How?
Pam: Stop with the questions and read this. *gives Brenda an instruction manual about Kierain’s needs*
Brenda: But you’re the nurse.
Pam: Please do it. *leaves*
*Brenda reads the instruction manual out loud*
Brenda: 1) Hug him when he's down. 2) Give him lots of your attention and 3) Don't attack him when he tugs on you.
*She turns the page*
Brenda: 4) Feed him and bathe time at the times given, 5) Kiss his forehead and 6) Let him sleep with you when he’s down.
*he twitches*
Brenda: Don’t twitch.
*he wakes up*
Brenda: How are ya?
Kierain: I lost everything. *cries*
*she hugs him*
Brenda: Let it out.
*Kierain continues crying*
Kierain: Pam?
Brenda: She’s on her lunch break. I’ll stay here and comfort you.
(A few days later, Helen finally decides to let Hilary have it.)
Helen: Hilary Robinson, I want a word!
Hilary: Yes?
*Helen and Hilary go into the master bedroom*
Helen: Now, listen carefully!
Hilary: Go on.
Helen: Kierain had a car accident. *looks furious*
Hilary: Oh, how awful.
Helen: DON’T PRETEND YOU ARE CONCERNED, HILARY ROBINSON! YOU AND THE REST OF JIM’S EXTENDED FAMILY ARE THE REASON KIERAIN COULDN’T HAVE A PLACE TO STAY IN!!!
*Hilary slaps Helen!*
(At the hospital, Kierain tugs on Brenda’s sleeve.)
Brenda: *annoyed* Guy!
*Kierain cringes*
Brenda: Oh, sorry mate. *looks at Kierain before kissing his forehead*
*Cheryl Stark wanders over*
Cheryl: Oh, hello there!
*Cheryl hugs him*

*Kierain eyes Todd suspiciously*
Kierain: You haven't seen it have you?
*Todd looks scared*
Todd: No.
*Todd comes clean*
Todd: I had to tape the motocross for Boof.
*Kierain is livid! He slams a blank tape down and advances on Todd*
Kierain: WHAT?!?
*Todd runs off, but Kierain tackles him*

Todd: What?
Kierain: COLLINGWOOD'S FIRST FLAG SINCE '58!
Todd: Sorry.
*Julie enters*
Julie: KIERAIN GEANEY! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!?
*Kierain lets Todd go before locking his tapes away in his wardrobe*
Todd: Gee Julie. Always butting in…
Julie: You’ll be in big trouble of Dad, Kierain!
Jim: No he won't, Julie! He explicitly forbade taping over that tape, Todd!

Man: No.
Kierain: How much for it mate?
Man: $25.
*Kierain gives him the money. He promptly runs off*
Kierain: ARGH!
Man: So long!
(At the Millane house, Darren is planning a night out.)
Darren: I can’t wait to go out tonight.
Denise: How are you getting home?
Darren: Kierain is taking me home.
Denise: I thought he crashed his car.
Darren: He got a new one.
Denise: Oh.
(Beverly is lecturing Todd.)
Beverly: You know what you did was wrong, don’t you?
Todd: But he hardly watched it.
Beverly: Still, it was an important piece of his collection.
*Julie rolls her eyes*
Julie: What collection?
Beverly: His Darren Millane collection.
Julie: *scoffs* You’re the one with the degree.
Beverly: MEANING?!?
Julie: You think you’re better than the rest of the family! Oh, that’s right. You failed your hairdressing course at the college!
*Kierain stalks in and to his room*

*Julie pulls Beverly's hair and physically attacks her!*

*he hugs her*

(Toby sees the posters all over town.)
Toby: Katie?

*Mrs Mangel sees the posters*

*Mrs Mangel calmly explains why Kierain needs the tape*

Mrs Mangel: If you don’t give it to him, I’m revoking that holiday to Fiji you and Kerry want to go on.
(Meanwhile, Darren is getting drunk at the Tunnel.)

Carlton fan: COLLINGWOOD SUCK!
Darren: Get lost, you bitch!
*the fan shoves him*

Beverly is having coffee with her friend, Lois Foutley.
Beverly: How are you?
Lois: Carl’s up to his old tricks again.

Lois: Why is that?
*Kierain enters wearing a sandwich board reading "Needed: one tape of last year's AFL Grand Final Collingwood V Essendon ads inclusive"*

Beverly: What time are you picking Darren up?
Kierain: 3:00am.
Beverly: Okay.
(At 2:50am, Kierain is about to leave.)
Katie: AUNTY BEV!
Beverly: Katie?
Katie: Todd’s gone.
Beverly: WHAT?!?
Katie: Yeah! I went to say good night to him. He’s not there.
Beverly: Oh great. *looks despaired*

Beverly: It appears so.
Kierain: I’ll go find him.

Kierain: But I don't want Darren driving home. He sounded kinda wasted.
Beverly: Someone has to watch her.

Henry: Got to work in an hour.

Jim: No. Kierain, stay with Katie.

*Beverly slaps Julie!*
(At the Foutley house, Carl looks jealous.)

(That night, Lois is making dinner. Kierain hugs her from behind.)

*he nods*

*Lois sighs before explaining to Carl*
Lois: Darren Millane was killed in a car crash.
Carl: I know, but why is he here?
Lois: HIS OWN FAMILY DIDN’T LET HIM PICK DARREN UP BECAUSE JIM AND JULIE ROBINSON ARE SO SELFISH TO CARE ABOUT HIM!!!
Carl: How long will he be there?
Lois: Until he leaves. *walks off*
*Lois sits on Kierain’s bed*
Lois: Sleep well.
*she strokes him*
Lois: You’ve had a tough day.
*the doorbell rings*
Lois: Who could that be? *opens the door*
Jim: Lois.
Lois: GET LOST! *slams the door in Jim’s face*
*Kierain tugs on her leg*

*she picks him up*

*Lois starts singing to Kierain when she places him in the bed. She then sits next to him.*

*he nods*
Lois: I had to clean your wound with Dettol. I was furious when he did that to you.
*Kierain rests on her*

(The next day, Pam comes over.)
Pam: Can I see my chook?
*Lois nods*

*he tugs on Pam*

*she picks him up*

*He kisses her and then rests on her*

(Denise comes over later.)

*Denise hugs Kierain as he cries*

On Thursday, Jacqueline and the Roomies are preparing to go to Jillian‘s funeral.
Jacqueline: I can’t believe she’s gone.
Vanessa: Me too. She was a total package.
*Adrian starts to cry*

Adrian: I just can’t believe she’s gone.
David: We have to stay strong for her, mate.
Rose: We’ve got a long drive to Reefton Lakes.
Jack: I’m glad we suggested a private service. Just me and Jillian’s family and friends.
Judy: Let’s go.
Lori: Mum, I’m scared. *starts to cry*
*Judy holds Lori’s hands*
Judy: Honey, don’t be. Jillian wouldn’t want you to be like this.
Lori: I know.
*Jacqueline and the Roomies leave the house*
(Over in Fountain Lakes, Victoria, Kath is going over some holiday brochures.)
Kim: Mum, do I look fat in this?
*Kim shows Kath a red dress that she’s wearing*

Kim: MUM! That’s fantastic! Does this mean we have to take the retard along?

Kim: Oh, all right! When do we leave for Bali?
Kath: Tomorrow morning.

*Kim does a little dance as Kath laughs*

At the Reefton Lakes Catholic Church, Jacqueline and the Roomies are saying their goodbyes to Jillian.
Jacqueline: She was a good friend to everyone. She’ll be sorely missed by us roomies.
*Grace goes over to the altar and puts her arms around Jacqueline, who is now sobbing*
Jacqueline: We’ll miss you, Jillian.
*Jacqueline and Grace return to their seats.*
Priest: Now, we shall say our final goodbyes to the deceased.
*Mariah Carey’s Hero plays across the church as Jacqueline and the Roomies say their goodbyes*
David: Goodbye.
Vanessa: We’ll miss you.
Rose: You’re in God’s hands now.
*Jack, Lori, Adrian, Grace, Jacqueline and Judy are crying as they say their goodbyes*
Jacqueline: Bye bye, Jillian.
*Jacqueline and the Roomies leave the church and return to their car*
Jacqueline: Well, guys. That was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
Adrian: I know.
Judy: We will hold a wake of our own when we get back home.

(At Coral D’s, Kierain storms in looking furious.)

Coral D: Darling?

Coral D: That little brute! Come here, darling.
*Coral D hugs Kierain*

Todd: Him! *points at Bruce*
*Bruce tries to run, but is grabbed by Chrissie*
Bruce: Who are you? What is this?
Chrissie: This is for not inviting Kierain! *punches his stomach*
Margo: Again!
*Chrissie does so as Lizzie enters*
Lizzie: Ladies. Let me hit him!
*Reb laughs*
Reb: Go on, Liz.
*Lizzie hits him*
*Kierain goes to Brenda and tugs her*
Brenda: Yes?
*he holds his arms out*
Brenda: Come here. *hugs him*
*she picks him up*
Brenda: What’s the matter?
Kierain: I want company.
Brenda: Why aren’t you with Bruce and the others?
Kierain: Wasn’t invited.
Brenda: You poor thing.
*As Brenda hugs Kierain, she feels him cry.*

(Meanwhile, an escaped Pippa is talking to Ann Kelly and Margaret Kennedy.)
Ann: What do you want from us?
Pippa: I want you to bring Kierain Geaney to me.
Margaret: How?
Pippa: Just talk to him and then grab him.
Ann: Why older women?
Pippa: Oh, he has this thing for older women. *laughs*
Margaret: Explain.
Pippa: He trusts them more than young women.
Ann: How do you carry him>?
Pippa: You just put him over your shoulders or pick him up.
Margaret: What clothes do we wear?

(Ann walks up to Kierain later)

Kierain: Who are you?
Ann: *lying* Cathy.
*she holds his hand*
Ann: So, why are you alone?
Kierain: Where are we going?
Ann: You’ll see.
*Margaret watches*
Margaret: *to herself* That’s it, Ann. Good job.
Kierain: Cathy?
Ann: Yes dear?
Kierain: What’s that perfume you’re wearing?
Ann: Oh, this. Oh, it’s that new perfume that Gina Boon wears.
*Margaret joins them*
Margaret: And I’m Clover.
*She holds his other hand*
Margaret: I think you're nice.
Kierain: How old are you?
Margaret: 50. Yourself?
Kierain: 19.
*Ann nods at Margaret and they lift him*
Ann: You like that.
*they carry him to a van*
Margaret: We’re going for a drive.
*Kierain looks freaked out*
Ann: It’ll be okay.

On Saturday morning, Melanie is walking to the youth centre when she sees Nuala Hafner outside the diner.
Melanie: Hey.
Nuala: Hello. Are you a local?
Melanie: Yeah. Hey, you’re from TV.
Nuala: I sure get recognised a lot. *laughs*
*Melanie laughs too*
Nuala: So, what’s your name?
Melanie: Melanie Black.
Nuala: It's a pleasure meeting you, Melanie.
(Later, Nuala and Melanie see Kelly Chan and her family moving into a townhouse not far from Alf and Ailsa's.)
Melanie: Hey.
*Kelly looks at her*
Melanie: My name is Melanie.
Kelly: Kelly Chan. *looks at Nuala* Oh my gosh! Nuala Hafner?
Nuala: Yes.
Kelly: You’re my favourite TV personality!
Nuala: Thank you.
Melanie: So, what brings you to Summer Bay, Kelly?
Kelly: We wanted a change of pace.
Melanie: Where did you used to live?
Kelly: Hong Kong.
Melanie: Oh, that’s nice.
Kelly: What’s there to do here?
Melanie: Well, there’s the local diner, the youth centre and the beach.
Kelly: Any sport?
Melanie: Well, the school has a rugby league team. They also have a volleyball, netball, basketball and swimming team.
Nuala: Well, I better head back to Sydney. It was lovely meeting you both.
Kelly: You too, Nuala.
*Nuala hugs both Melanie and Kelly before leaving*
Kelly: What is the Summer Bay Magpies? It’s in every window around here.
Melanie: Oh, they are the local AWBL team. They travel to Victoria, WA, South Australia as well as having games right here in New South Wales.
Kelly: AWBL?
Melanie: Australian Wheelchair Basketball League. It's an AFL type thing.
Kelly: That sounds fun! Is there a game soon that I can watch?
Melanie: Not until next year, I’m afraid. The season is over. So, did you need a hand with unpacking?
Kelly: Yes please. That’s so kind of you.
*Melanie and Kelly enter the house*
(At Stockland Shopping Centre in Reefton Lakes, Judy is spoiling Lori.)
Judy: Want an ice cream?
Lori: We could get our nails done.
Judy: Okay.
*They enter American Nails to see a bogan starting trouble*
Woman: I asked for French tips on my nails, sweetheart! Can’t you Asians get anything right?!?
Judy: HEY!
Woman: What are you gawking at, Miss America?!?
*Judy lifts the woman off the ground*
Judy: Beat it, lady!
Worker: Thanks.
Judy: No worries. French tips please. Lori?
Lori: Same.
*they get their nails done*

In the van, Kierain plays with Ann’s necklace.
Ann: You like it?
Kierain: Yes.
*He then plays with her heel*
Ann: I’m sorry?
*She feels bad as he cringes*
Ann: Play with my hair instead. *smiles*
*He does so. Margaret locks the doors*
Margaret: No escape!
*Ann smirks before revealing her real name*
Ann: I’m not Cathy. I’m Ann Kelly and my pal Margaret and I are sending you to Pippa!
Margaret: That's right. I'm Margaret Kennedy, NOT Clover!
*Ann kisses him*
Ann: Pippa can’t wait to see you.
(At Pippa’s, they throw him at her feet.)
Pippa: Hi Kierain. How are you?
*Pippa grabs him*
Pippa: Come to me.
*Ann takes his hand and force a wedding ring on it*
Ann: Time to get married?
*Pippa smirks*
Pippa: Of course I am, Ann.
*Pippa drags him to her “church”*
Pippa: Prepare to be mine!
*Margaret enters as the celebrant*
Margaret: Do you Pippa take Kierain as your hubby?
*Pippa kisses him*

*Pippa turns to Kierain*
Pippa: You have no choice. *laughs*
*Margaret forces the ring on*
Margaret: I now declare you legal spouses.
*Pippa spins him around*

*Pippa lifts him*
Pippa: Now, the fun part. *laughs*
(In her room, she strokes him.)

*he struggles*

*Pippa slaps him before carrying him to the window*

*She then kisses him*

*she rocks him*
Pippa: I think you'll like it here.
Kierain: LET ME GO!
*Pippa grabs the tape*
Pippa: Don’t make me do that. *smiles*
*he looks at her*

*Pippa throws Kierain on a bed and sits on it*

*Kelly comes out the front and sees Melanie.*
Kelly: Oh, hi Melanie.
Melanie: Why are you dressed in a Yabbie Creek High uniform?
Kelly: That’s where I’m going to school.
Melanie: Shoot! I was going to ask you if we could walk to school together.
Kelly: Sorry. I wanted to go to Yabbie Creek for my schooling.
Melanie: That’s fine. I respect your decision.
*Melanie leaves, embarrassed*
Mr Chan: Kelly, we have to go now.
Kelly: Coming Father.
*Kelly returns inside and closes the door*
(At Yabbie Creek High, Kelly’s arrival sees some students look at her with disinterest.)
Girl: Who let the chink arrive here?
Boy: Probably got lost on her way back to China.
*they laugh*
Kelly: Is there a problem or are you both just immature?
Girl: My, don’t you have an attitude problem. How about if I…
Anahera: How about if you lay off?
*Kelly looks to find Anahera Brown standing near the fire extinguisher*
Girl: What’s it to you, Anahera?
Anahera: Lay off the new girl or I’ll punch your face in!
Girl: *to the boy* Let’s go.
*The students glare at Kelly before leaving*
Kelly: Thanks.
Anahera: Anytime. So, what year are you in?
Kelly: I’m in Year 9.
Anahera: Year 11.
Kelly: I guess I’ll see you around.
Anahera: Same.
*they high-five*

Later that morning, Fliss is cleaning the kitchen when she hears the front door of her flat knock.
Fliss: I’m coming.
*Fliss opens the door to find a man standing there*
Fliss: If you’re looking for Lucy Burb, she’s gone to TAFE.
Man: Are you Felicity Sidebotham?
Fliss: Yes, I am.
Man: I’m an agent from Star Models. I believe you signed up to be a model, correct?
Fliss: Oh yes. I filled in as host on Saturday Disney a few months back.
Man: Impressive. How would you like to do a modelling shoot in the city?
Fliss: *excited* When?
Man: How does tomorrow afternoon sound?
Fliss: Oh, I’ll do it for sure.
Man: I knew you would.
Fliss: I hope to show off my bikini on the Harbour Bridge.
Man: See you tomorrow afternoon. *leaves*
*Fliss closes the door*
Fliss: Claudia Schiffer, here I come! *smiles*
(After school that afternoon, Misty heads straight to Rhonda’s house.)
Misty: Rhonda? *knocks on the screen door*
Rhonda: Come in, Misty.

Misty: Because she wants to take him away from me.

(Elsewhere, Pippa is continuing to hold Kierain as her prisoner.)
Pippa: You’ll never escape me.
Kierain: Let me go!
Pippa: Oh, but no one will save you now.
*Pippa holds Kierain down on the bed, but before she can do anything, loud banging noises can be heard*
Police: OPEN THE DOOR NOW!!!
*The police, the riot squad and Bette storm inside*
Bette: Honey, come to me.
*Kierain jumps into Bette’s arms and starts to cry*
Policewoman: Pippa Fletcher, Ann Kelly and Margaret Kennedy; You three are all under arrest.
*The police officers drag Pippa, Ann and Margaret away*
Kierain: *crying* I want to go home.
Bette: That’s what we’re doing.
*Bette kisses Kierain’s cheek*
