Jim is holding a meeting with his mates about Kierain.

Doug: What’s this meeting about, Jim?

Jim: It’s about Kierain. It seems that Reiko Summers is giving him a hard time about Darren.

Joe: Ah, not again!

Jim: I’m afraid so. I had Todd come up to me and tell me what Reiko said about Darren on her show!

Joe: Have ya got it recorded?

Jim: I’m afraid not, but I do have evidence from Mrs Denise Millane what Reiko had said.

Doug: What did she say about him?

Jim: She called him a “Collingwood tosser”

Joe: That’s bloody wrong!

Doug: It sure is.

Jim: Kierain even went to a public affairs program to have his say on the matter.

Joe: Good on him.

Jim: About Reiko. I think Doug should be the one to talk with her.

Doug: Why me?

Jim: You’re very good at lecturing people about the wrong thing.

Doug: All right, I’ll go.

(At Mount Thomas Hospital, Kierain is visiting Jonathan who is still in a critical condition. Rose is there for moral support.)

Kierain: What happened to him, Jane?

Jane: We were walking to school when this car knocked him down and drove off without stopping.

Rose: Did you notice what kind of car it was?

Jane: It was a light blue Nissan Pintara station wagon. The registration plate was MAS-714.

Kierain: I just hope he pulls through. I don’t want to lose another close friend in my life.

Rose: Come here hun.

*Kierain hugs Rose*

Jane: Kez, I’m one hundred percent certain that Jonathan will pull through.

Kierain: I hope so, Jane. I really hope so.

*Jane also hugs Kierain*

Jane: It’s going to be okay.

*When they return to the Imperial, Rose takes Kierain to Chris’s room.*

Rose: Are you okay hun?

Kierain: I’m just worried about Jonathan.

Rose: He’ll pull through. He’s a tough cookie.

Kierain: Rose?

Rose: I’m listening.

Kierain: Am I a nice person?

Rose: Of course you are. I think you’re the best.

Kierain: Thanks.

Rose: Would you like a hug?

*Kierain nods*

Rose: Come here then.

*Rose hugs him tight*

Kierain: Love you.

Rose: Love you too. *smiles*

*Kierain smiles back*

That night, Belinda is talking to her foster children in the living room.

Belinda: Kids, I just want to let you know that I’m going to be staying in the city tomorrow.

Taylor: How come?

Belinda: My uncle is in hospital, so Mum and I are going to stay with my grandmother. We should be back around Sunday afternoon.

Amy: Who’s going to be watching Stacey’s apartment?

Belinda: Nobody. But I am depending on the five of you to keep this house spotless.

Larni: We will, Belinda. Don’t you worry about that.

Melanie: That’s right, Belle. *smiles sweetly*

Belinda: I’m going to bed. I’ve got a big day tomorrow.

Taylor: Night Mum.

Lewis: Good night.

Belinda: Good night all. *heads to her bedroom*

Melanie: I might head to bed as well. *pretends to yawn* See you in the morning.

Amy: *in a suspicious tone* Good night, Melanie.

*Melanie heads into the bedroom she shares with Larni and Amy and immediately jumps on the laptop*

Melanie: This is going to be awesome! *types away on the computer*

*On the laptop screen, we see that Melanie has advertised a party on Bebo. The comment says, “Party at my house tomorrow night.

Summer Bay, NSW.

Starts at 6:30pm and finishes whenever. Be there guys. Love you all.”*

Melanie: Excellent. *smirks*

(Meanwhile, Josh is getting off a coach. He is visiting the Bay to catch up with some friends and staying over at Lee’s for the weekend.)

Lee: Brother figure!

Josh: Hey mate.

*they shake hands*

Lee: I’m glad that you’re staying with me.

Josh: How are things with George?

Lee: We broke up yesterday.

Josh: How come mate?

Lee: He cheated on me with Bianca LeBow.

Josh: That’s wrong. I guess George just wasn’t your type, mate.

Lee: Word of advice brother Josh. Never date a bisexual guy.

Josh: Mate, I’m 100% straight. *smiles*

Lee: It just hurts because I thought he loved me.

*Josh hugs Lee*

The next day (Saturday), Josh is hanging out at the diner with Misty, Lee, Bianca, Samuelu, Tiago, Taylor, Amelia and Alice.

Josh: It’s so great seeing you all again.

Misty: It sure is bestie. *smiles*

Taylor: Want to play rugby later bro?

Josh: Of course mate.

Samuelu: Did you hear that we made it to the grand final of the Schoolboy Rugby League Cup?

Josh: Congratulations.

Lee: Who will you be facing?

Tiago: We’ll be facing off against Hawker College, a school in Canberra.

Samuelu: We have to be on our game.

Alice: When are you guys playing?

Taylor: Thursday next week.

Amelia: I know you guys will win. *smiles before kissing Taylor*

Bianca: I can’t wait to watch the game!

Lee: *annoyed* Did you even get tickets, Bianca?

Bianca: What’s with the tone?

Lee: Don’t worry, Bianca. You wouldn’t understand! *gets up from the table and leaves*

Misty: I’ll go after him. *leaves the diner*

Alice: What was that about?

Tiago: Who knows?

*Bianca looks very guilty - she knows to well what she did*

Josh: So, do you guys want to play rugby?

Samuelu/Taylor/Tiago: Sure man.

Amelia: Alice and I will stay behind. We might go chill in Tara and Val’s pool.

Bianca: Sounds nice. I might join you. *smiles weakly*

Alice: You sure can, Bianca. *smiles back*

(That night, Melanie is all dressed up for her party. She plays some loud techno music as the guests arrive.)

Melanie: Welcome to my party. Hope you all have a great time.

*Wendy and Kristy look around the kitchen*

Wendy: Where’s the food?

Melanie: I ordered pizzas for everyone and I told everyone to bring their own alcohol.

Kristy: Cool. Can’t wait for Nowra next Friday.

Wendy: Same. I’m so glad I picked the place. *smiles*

*Melanie smiles as more guests arrive*

Melanie: The pizzas should be here soon guys.

*A few minutes later, a guy from Eagle Boys Pizza arrives at the Macklin house.*

Delivery guy: Here are your twenty pizzas, Miss.

Melanie: Thanks. *pays the delivery guy the exact amount of cash*

Delivery guy: Enjoy your night.

*Melanie closes the door*

Melanie: Who wants pizza?

Guests: I do!

Melanie: Then come get it.

*The guests start racing towards the kitchen counter*

(At 9:00pm, Amy and Larni are coming back from June’s when they see cars parked across the front lawn.)

Amy: What the hell?!?

Larni: Why are there cars parked across the lawn?

*Taylor approaches them, having come back from Lee’s*

Taylor: Why can I hear loud music?

*They all look at each other*

Amy/Larni/Taylor: MELANIE!!!!

*they race inside to find the house a complete mess and most of the guests drunk or high*

Melanie: Hey guys. You’re missing out on such a great party!

Amy: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?

Melanie: I’m just having fun.

Taylor: Where’s Lewis?

Melanie: Oh, I locked him in the closet.

Larni: YOU WHAT?!?

Melanie: He was being such a party pooper!

Amy: Nice one!

*Amy races over to the closet and unlocks it to find Lewis shaking*

Amy: It’s okay, little guy. Amy’s here.

*Lewis hugs Amy tight as more gatecrashers show up*

Melanie: Welcome guys!

*Taylor looks helplessly at Larni and Amy*

Amy: I WILL be informing Belinda about this!

At 11:30pm, the party is still going strong. The Macklin foster siblings have taken refuge at Sarah’s house.

Larni: We’re really sorry for disrupting your night, Miss Latana.

Sarah: It’s fine. But I strongly suggest that you phone Belinda and inform her about Melanie’s party.

Amy: I will.

*Amy dials Chantal Macklin’s phone number.*

Amy: Hi Great Nan, is Belinda there?

Chantal: I’ll just get her for you, Amy.

Belinda: Amy?

Amy: Oh, Belinda. You have to come home right away!

Belinda: Darling, it’s 11:30 at night. Surely it can wait until tomorrow?

Amy: Melanie has decided to throw an unsupervised party! The house is a mess!

Belinda: WHAT?!?

Amy: Not only that, she locked poor Lewis in the closet.

Belinda: That does it! When I come back tomorrow, she is going to be severely lectured! You lot stay the night at Sarah’s. *hangs up*

Larni: How’d she take it, Aim?

Amy: She’s LIVID!

Taylor: Serves Melanie right.

(At 2:00am, the party is over and Melanie is so high that she can’t even stand up straight.)

Melanie: I had a great time tonight. *laughs*

*Melanie continues laughing as she lays on the living room floor*

First thing the next morning (Monday), Chris goes straight to Mount Thomas Police Station.

Chris: Tom, may I have a word?

Tom: What seems to be the problem, Chris?

Chris: I DEMAND a restraining order on all of Kierain’s enemies.

Tom: A list please.

Chris: Meg Bowman, Dr. Bruce, Betty Fulwell, Pippa Fletcher, Lil Stokes, Margaret Lynch, Brian Knight, Carly Morris AND Bobby Simpson!

Tom: How about that woman who called Darren a “Collingwood tosser”?

Chris: Doug Willis is meeting with Miss Reiko Summers tomorrow. Depending on the outcome, THEN I’ll decide if she gets a restraining order put on her.

Tom: Fair enough. I will do that for you.

Chris: How can I repay you?

Tom: Would you and your nephew like to come over for dinner tomorrow night?

Chris: I would love that. *smiles*

*Tom smiles back*

(Meanwhile, Bobby is being lectured by Morag at Barbara Stewart’s house in the city.)

Nell: They are coming for dinner and the decision is final!

*Just as Susan is about to scream at her parents, PJ and Rose walk in*

Nell: Where is he?

Chris: He had to appear on Mt Thomas TV's AWBL Show

Nell: I see.

Susan: I bet he talked about his lover, Darren Millane.

Tom: *warningly* Susan.

Susan: I was just saying!

*A few minutes later, Kierain arrives*

Kierain: Sorry I’m late, but your cab driver dropped me off in Isaac Street.

Susan: *sarcastically* Such a pity.

Nell: Susan, be nice.

*Chris opens the wine*

*EVERYONE at the table loses their temper*

*Susan spits on Chris's face before stomping out of the room*

(Kierain is going down the road when Monica pulls up)

*Kierain looks at her*

Monica: Your Aunty Christine rung me and told me what happened.

Kierain: If you thought I was badly behaved at 15, you should see Susan.

*Monica gets out of her Toyota Hilux and puts her arm around Kierain*

Kierain: She hassled me all through dinner and then insulted Darren Millane.

Monica: What did she say about Darren?

Kierain: She called him a Collingwood tossing homewrecker.

Monica: That’s ten times worse than what that Reiko woman said!!!

Kierain: Don't you see? It's MY fault he died. I should have gone to the Tunnel Nightclub with him and driven him home.

Monica: Why didn't you?

Kierain: Because someone had to watch Katie seen as Todd nicked off.

The next morning (Tuesday), Melanie decides to jig school by going to the beach. While there, she sees Josh sitting on the sand.

Josh: Hey. Mel right?

Melanie: Sure am. You must be Josh Anderson from Mildura.

Melanie: *in a flirty tone* You are as attractive as you are on your Bebo page.

Josh: My sister's in the city at the moment. She's a student at the University of Sydney.

*Melanie turns around and sees Vicki Baxter fresh from the detention centre*

*Melanie looks unsure while Josh looks sympathetic*

Vicki: I even have the papers to prove it.

*Vicki hands Melanie the papers*

Rose: It was, but there was a cattle theft last night.

Chris: Oh no. Well do you want to know why Tom is in a cranky mood?

Rose: Details.

Chris: Susan insulted Kierain's idol Darren Millane.

Rose: Ah. That explains last night.

Flashback the night before.

*Kierain has lost it at a customer for being rude to Chris*

Kierain: If you're not out of here in 5 seconds, I’ll break your head!

*the customer lets Chris go*

Customer: Okay spastic. Don't get your underwear in a twist!

*The customer now backs away scared*

Chris: I'll check on him now.

*Chris heads upstairs to find Kierain laying in bed*

Chris: I just want to let you know that I informed Bette, Doug, Pam and the other important people in our lives what that bitch Susan said about poor Darren.

Chris: Well, they are all FURIOUS with her! They reckon what she said about Darren was as low as what Reiko said about him. Don't you agree?

Kierain: Get me Morag Bellingham. I’m suing Reiko!

Chris: Why? Susan was the one that insulted him the worst.

Kierain: I can't sue the Sarg. Not since they can't afford it.

Chris: I might have a way around that. Give me your phone.

*Kierain does so*

*Chris dials the number of the police station*

Chris: Hi Tom. Can you and Nell come to the Imperial pronto? It's urgent.

*15 minutes later, Tom and Nell arrive.*

Tom: What seems to be the matter Chris?

Chris: Sit down.

*they do so*

Chris: Kierain come join us.

*Kierain wheels over to the table*

Nell: What is it?

Chris: Here's the thing. Kierain was meant to be with Darren the night he died.

Tom/Nell: Go on.

Chris: His surrogate brother had run off with a guy named Gary who calls himself Boof. Anyway, Kierain had to watch his surrogate sister and by the time they found Todd, it was too late. Darren had tried to drive home.

*Kierain, Nell and Tom cry as Susan rolls her eyes*

Susan: And that's how the Collingwood scum died? How touching!

*Kierain LOSES his cool!*

Kierain: JUST SHUT UP!!!!! I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS TILL I DIE EXPECT MY LAWYER TO CALL! *Runs away*

Dash: No, Chris leave it be.

Chris: I'm going after him! *goes after Kierain*

*Tom and Nell glare at Susan*

Tom: YOU WILL HELP YOUR MOTHER OUT AT THE SALVOS FOR THE NEXT THREE MONTHS!!!

Susan: Like hell I am!

(Kierain is at Bev’s surgery.)

Bev: What seems to be the matter darling?

*Kierain hands him the message which reads "Go die and be with Millane"*

Tom: I see you have my word she will be arrested

Kierain: is there a charge here?

Tom: yes extortion!

Kierain: good do that *leaves*

*at the Macklin house Amy is having a go at Melanie*

Amy: there's a reason we hate you

Melanie: and what's that?

Amy: you lie, cheat, steal, throw unsupervised parties, drink and smoke! you are a bad influence!

Melanie: am not!

Amy: you are!

*Melanie runs away crying*

Amy: that's it have a sook!

*At the beach Samuelu and Vicki talk*

Samuelu: so

Vicki: so how are you?

Samuelu: fine

At Number 26, Paul and Gail are over for dinner. The reason it’s awkward? Paul is still angry at Gail for not presenting the awards at the Lassiters Cup match in August.

Paul: *strained* So, how are you Gail?

Gail: *genuine* Fine.

Paul: *strained* Good to know.

*Gail senses that something isn't right.*

Gail: Paul?

Paul: *strained* Yes Gail?

Gail: What’s wrong?

Paul: Try not presenting the awards for the Lassiters Cup! They were expecting you, Gail. But NO! You FAILED to show up! *storms off*

Gail: But Gaby did it. So what's the beef?

Paul: *from the living room* She was terrible!

*Bev, Jim and Helen look embarrassed*

Gail: Oh yeah? You could have done it!

Paul: I SPECIFICALLY ASKED YOU TO PRESENT THE AWARDS AND YOU WERE A NO SHOW! DO YOU KNOW HOW DISRESPECTFUL THAT IS?!?

*Gail looks like she's about to cry*

Kierain: OI! Let's just sit down and have dinner!

*a scared Paul backs off*

(During dinner, Paul is now being on his best behaviour!)

Paul: Pass the vegetables, Kierain. *thinking to himself* Kierain is nothing but an interferer!

Kierain: HOLD the attitude buster!

*Paul becomes civil*

Paul: Attitude? I wasn't giving you attitude. I was being nice.

Jim: Paul, if you're going to make trouble....

Paul: Dad, I'm not the one making trouble. It's him! *points at Kierain*

Jim: YOU were the one fighting with Gail!

Paul: You know what? I'm done with Kierain being treated like a saint! *storms out of the house*

*Gail looks guilty*

*Bev goes outside to see Kierain pull his car out of the driveway*

*Bev takes Kierain to Helen's room and sits him on her leg*

(Helen is giving Paul the BIGGEST lecture of his life.)

*Paul realises what Kierain was trying to do*

Paul: Was he trying to prevent an argument?

Helen: Not that YOU appreciate it, but yes!

Paul: *remorseful* I see.

*Gail looks remorseful*

Gail: Shall we move forward?

*Paul smiles at her*

Paul: Only if we promise not to wreck dinner again.

*they hug*

*Bev marches in looking furious with Paul*

*Jim looks unimpressed with Paul*

At Bette's, she has Faye and Julia over for coffee.

Julia: So, how did the court case go?

Bette: He won.

Faye: I never liked that Summers woman!

Bette: She's a piece of work.

Julia: Do you know of any good boarding schools, Bette?

Bette: No, I’ve never had any need. Kierain is good.

Julia: I'm thinking of sending Meg there.

Faye: Arlingwood?

Julia: No. I want a stricter boarding school.

Bette: Well, I did hear about one.

Julia: Go on.

Bette: Thomas Carr have a great reputation.

Julia: Good. I can send her there. *smiles*

(When Julia tells Meg about it once home, Meg kicks up a stink!)

Meg: WHY?!?

Julia: Because you've been nothing but rude and rebellious!

Meg: THAT'S KIERAIN GEANEY!!!

*Julia sees red*

Julia: WHAT did you say?!?

Meg: YOU HEARD!!!

Julia: AND YOU'VE BEEN SMOKING TOO!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!

*Meg storms off*

Julia: *following Meg into her bedroom* I'm not finished talking with you!

*Meg slams the door in Julia’s face!*

Julia: MEGAN BOWMAN!!!!

*no answer*

*Julia throws open the door and pins Meg to her wardrobe*

Julia: YOU HAVE BEEN MEAN, DISOBEDIENT, RUDE AND MEAN TO KIERAIN! IT'S BOARDING SCHOOL FOR YOU!

Meg: KIERAIN SHOULD GO JOIN DARREN MILLANE IN HELL!!!

*Julia turns dark red!*

Julia: MEG BOWMAN THAT IS THE FINAL STRAW!

*Meg smirks at Julia*

At Number 26, Helen has her arms around Kierain.

Helen: You okay darling?

*Kierain nods*

*he does so*

*Lucy walks in*

Lucy: *quietly* How is he?

Helen: He’s alright.

Lucy: I'm relieved. Would it be okay if Emma spent the night tomorrow?

Helen: Okay, but ask your father.

Jim: *walking in* Ask me what?

Lucy: Can Emma stay over tomorrow?

Jim: Sure.

*Faye barges in*

Faye: Helloooo.

*Lucy rolls her eyes as Faye opens her arms*

Helen: *testily* He's asleep.

*Faye tries again*

Helen: It looks like he's still asleep.

*Faye gently picks him up*

Faye: He's so cute.

*Kierain wakes up*

*Faye strokes him*

Faye: Hello.

Kierain: Helen?!? I need a hug.

*Faye hugs him*

Faye: It's okay.

Kierain: I want Helen.

*Faye reassures Kierain*

Faye: It's okay dear. I won't hurt you.

*Kierain looks scared as Faye continues reassuring him*

Faye: It's okay.

Kierain: *screaming* Helen! Bev!

*Faye manages to calm him*

Faye: Tell me what's going on?

Kierain: Last night I dreamed that you....

Faye: Dream that I what?

Kierain: You know…

Faye: *shocked* I would NEVER do that to you. I love you too much for that.

*Kierain bursts into tears*

*Faye hugs him*

*Kierain continues to cry his heart out as Faye rocks him*

Meg sneaks out of the house and goes to meet up with her best friend, Viviane.

Viviane: Hey.

Meg: Hey Viviane. Let's go start pranking people.

Viviane: Who should we prank call first?

Meg: That annoying wheelchair guy.

Viviane: Sure. *dials Kierain's mobile number*

Kierain: Nice try Bowman, but I’m on to your immature crap. *hangs up*

*Meg looks incensed*

*Viviane dials Kierain's mobile number and screams loudly before hanging up on him*

Tom: Megan Bowman?

Dash: WE'RE GOING BACK TO THE POLICE STATION!!!

*Kierain looks FURIOUS!!!*

*Kierain storms out in disgust*

Meg: GO GET HIT BY A BUS, LOSER!!!

*car tyres squeal*

Meg: Here we go, another accident is upon us!

Dash: SHUT IT!

Kierain arrives at the Coffee Shop. Gloria goes over to him.

Gloria: Hi love.

Kierain: Hi.

*Gloria sees that he's been crying*

Gloria: Love?

Kierain: *trying to hide it* I’m fine.

Gloria: I'm not buying it. Talk.

*Kierain sobs hysterically*

*Gloria picks him up*

Kierain: Meg was mean to me. She said I was a spaz and that she ran over my mate.

Gloria: What else?

Kierain: She said I should die. *holds Gloria's apron*

Gloria: Oh no. *holds Kierain close*

Kierain: No one else in the street is home.

Gloria: Come stay with me then. *smiles*

Kierain: But you barely know me.

Gloria: I'm willing to let a friend of Gail's come stay with me.

Kierain: Thanks. But where will I sleep.

Gloria: In the room next to mine.

Gloria: What?

Kierain: Wet.

Gloria: I've got spare sheets. Now, come here.
