*Meg stomps in*

Bette locks the front door back door and windows!
Bette: I SAID EXPLAIN!
(Later that day, Kimberley is at Australia's Wonderland with Josh and Misty.)
Josh: wow thanks Kim!
Kimberley: No worries. *to Misty* What do you think?
Misty: this is fun!
Josh: What made you decide to take us? *smiles*

*While on one of the rides, Josh gets a text from Lee*
"coming back again can I crash at yours?"
Josh: *texting* Depends.

Misty: Is something going on with you and Lee-Lee? Ann and I are getting concerned
Josh: no why?
Misty: Well, he seems to think that you don't talk to him anymore
Josh: he never calls anymore only SMS
Misty: Oh.
Kimberley: Tell me about your friendship with Lee. I want to hear from the beginning.
Josh: he's like a brother to me and we're close but i like Todd too and Lee hates it
Misty: WHAT COMPLETE AND UTTER RUBBISH!!! *The ride suddenly stops and Misty storms off*

*at Cody's Melissa is handing out invites to her birthday*

Melissa: I'm having my birthday party next Saturday, but there's one problem. The place my parents picked has no access for wheelchairs.
Kierain: *put out* fine this happens
Melissa: I'm sorry. (Misty is on the bus heading to the train station when she gets a text from Josh.)
*A crying Misty ignores the texts and rings Ann*
Ann: Bestie?
Misty: Ann i had a fight with Josh
Ann: How come? Tell me everything.
Misty: he was whinging that Lee didn't like Todd and how Lee never called and i lost it at him
Ann: That's funny because Todd's the one that has issues with Lee not the other way around.
Misty: i know
Ann: I'll call you back.
*Misty hangs up. As she does, Lee texts her*
"what's wrong girl?"
Misty: *texting* "Nothing. Why do you ask?"
"Joshy just called me"
Misty: *texting* What did he want? I want EVERY detail!
"he said he had a fight with ya about me and him and me being ignored and how sorry he is"
Misty: *texting* Did he cry?

*Melissa Cody and Josh arrive at No 26 "Jesus Of Suburbia by Green Day blairs in Kierain's room*
Melissa: I just knew this would happen. Cody: You okay Josh? You've barely said a word since you came back from seeing your best friend.
Josh: fine what's up Melissa details!
Melissa: Well, Kierain can't go to my party because the venue my parents chose has no wheelchair access.
*Josh loses his cool!*
Josh: MELISSA! JESUS DIDN'T YOU TELL THEM??
Melissa: *taken aback by Josh's anger* Of course I did!

*Josh runs away*
Todd: uh oh guys we're in trouble

"shows them Kierain's facebook where the occupation part reads "King of this hole!"

Outside the youth centre, Misty is crying on a bench. *Charmaine sees*
Charmaine: hey
Misty: Hey Charmaine. I've been hurt in the WORST way possible!
Charmaine: spill
*Misty explains everything to Charmaine just as Josh texts her again*

Misty: *texting* Why should I call you? I thought you were a nice guy Joshua Anderson, but I guessed wrong!
*Misty cries* *
on Saturday with everyone at the party Kierain decides to spend time with Pam Dorothy Madge Gloria Faye and Helen who are playing cards*
Kierain: Melissa can shove it for all I care!
The women look at him
Madge: Really?
Kierain: fancy boasting your invite around the school when not everyone was able to get access
Dorothy: That stinks.
Pam: Josh didn't go to the party by the way. He's really upset about something.
Kierain: yeah something's up
Madge: full house!
Faye: Looks like Madge won the game.
Dorothy: it's only young another game?
Gloria: Might as well. *Cody returns home*
Kierain: what gives babe you're back WAY before midnight
Cody: I wanted to spend time with you babe. Besides, only half showed up.
*Kierain looks sad*

Cody: They just did.
Kierain: you don't think...

Kierain: i dunno they were pretty steamed up
Cody: Josh has been depressed all week
Kierain: he had a fight with Misty

Pam goes over to Brad, who has just ran inside the house.

Pam: Bradley?

Brad: One of my surfie mates has been involved in a serious car accident! It’s pretty bad.

Pam: Right. I’m on my way. *to Faye and Dorothy* Look after Kierain for me.

*Brad and Pam dash off*

Dorothy: What should we do young Kierain? I know! I’ll take you out for ice-cream.

Faye: Would you rather go and see a movie, dear?

Kierain: Well…

Dorothy: Are you trying to compete with me Faye Hudson?

Faye: Yes!

Gloria: I think it’s time we left ladies.

*Gloria and the other ladies leave the house*

Faye: What movie do you want to see?

Dorothy: What is your favourite ice-cream flavour?

Kierain: I want to see a movie AND go for ice-cream!

Dorothy: Well, that seems fair.

Faye: I’ll get the car. *smiles*

*Kierain smiles back*

(At the Blaxland Mansion, Kimberley is feeling awful about her disastrous outing with Josh and Misty.)

Kimberley: I’m so upset about Josh and Misty fighting.

Reiko: Hey cuz. Don’t blame yourself. You weren’t at fault.

Kimberley: But it feels like it. *sighs*

Lori: Reiko’s right. Josh and Misty were having a disagreement about their friend, Lee.

Kimberley: I still feel responsible.

Lori: I’ll tell you what. Why don’t we invite Steph, Paula and Charlotte over and have a movie night tonight.

Kimberley: David and Adrian will still be there won’t they?

Reiko: Nope. They’re going to a concert in Reefton Lakes.

Kimberley: I can’t wait for us to have a girls night in!

*Reiko and Lori both hug Kimberley*

When they return home from the cinemas, Faye sits Kierain with her on the rocking chair.

Faye: Did you have fun today dear?

Kierain: After what you and Dorothy did, that really cheered me up.

*Faye holds Kierain close*

Faye: I love you dear.

Kierain: Can I ask a question, Faye?

Faye: What’s that?

Kierain: Are you and Dorothy trying to compete on spoiling me the most?

Faye: I guess you could say that. *notices that Kierain looks down* Come on dear. Open up.

Kierain: It just sucks that Melissa’s stinking parents chose a non-wheelchair usable place for her party. I hate being excluded. It hurts.

Faye: At least you’ve still got me, Pam, Helen and Bette. *smiles*

*Kierain yawns*

Faye: Rest away dear.

*Kierain rests on Faye’s shoulder before drifting off to sleep*

(At a bus stop on Old Picnic Road, a coach pulls over and Josh is the first person out of the coach.)

Josh: Time to sort things out with Misty.

The next day (Sunday), Misty sees Josh from the distance as she’s leaving the surf club.

Misty: No chance buddy. *starts to walk away*

Josh: *calling out* Hey Misty!

*Misty pretends not to hear Josh and continues walking*

Josh: MISTY!

Misty: *to herself* Just get lost!

Blake Dean: Is he hassling you?

Misty: No. Just an EX-FRIEND!!! What do you want Josh?!?

Josh: I want to talk!

Blake: I think she wants you gone buddy.

Misty: It's okay. I want to talk to him alone.

*Blake leaves*

Misty: *glaring at Josh* What did you want to talk about?

Josh: I’m really sorry.

Misty: Oh are you?!? It's too late for apologies, don't you think? *turns away from Josh but the look on her face says she HATES hurting him*

Josh: MISTY!

*Misty walks away*

(At Number 26, Mrs Jarrett is NOT very popular with Beverly.)

Bev: YOU have some nerve showing up here!

Mrs Jarrett: I'm sorry?

*Bev gets really angry*

Bev: HOW DARE YOU PICK A NON-WHEELCHAIR USABLE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER'S PARTY?!? KIERAIN COULDN'T GO BECAUSE OF IT!!!

Mrs Jarrett: OH WELL I'M SORRY THE POOR LITTLE CRIPPLE DIDN'T GET HIS WAY FOR ONCE IN HIS PATHETIC, MISERABLE LIFE!!!!

*Jim storms in*

Jim: Beverly, what's with all the shouting?

Bev: ASK HER!!!

*Mrs Jarrett starts ranting*

Mrs Jarrett: I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE FEEL SORRY FOR HIM! HE'S JUST A TROUBLEMAKING LITTLE BRAT LIKE THAT MEG BOWMAN BITCH!!!

*Jim goes OFF!*

*Mrs Jarrett angrily leaves*

(At the beach, Josh sees Misty sitting on the sand.)

Misty: *sheepishly* Go on.

Josh: I’m sorry for saying Lee hated Todd.

Misty: Why did you say it to Kimberley then?

Josh: Well the fact is things are tense between them.

Misty: Well, let them sort it out. Oh and far as this best friend business goes?

Josh: Yes?

*Misty goes over to Josh and kisses him*

*Josh kisses her back*

Faye has fallen asleep with Kierain in her arms when Pam walks in.

Pam: Faye?

*Faye just sleeps*

Pam: Faye? *walks into Faye's living room*

Kierain: Pam?

Pam: Oh chook, you're up. *hugs Kierain*

Kierain: Faye’s asleep.

Pam: I noticed. I just came back from Helen's by the way, I had to help Bev.

Kierain: What happened?

Pam: Bev had a row with Mrs Jarrett about you not being able to go to Melissa's birthday party and when Mrs Jarrett left, Bev fainted.

Kierain: I told Bev to let it go. I did. I honestly DON'T care, fitting in is overrated. I mean look at Meg and the "in" crowd'.

Pam: Meg Bowman in the "in" crowd? *laughs*

Kierain: Faye worries me.

Pam: Why’s that?

Kierain: She’s still asleep at noon.

Pam: She must've been buggered from that trip to the pictures yesterday.

Kierain: Yeah.

*Pam picks him up*

Pam: Love you lots chook.

*Kierain kisses Pam's forehead*

(At the Bowman's, Meg is getting ready to go out with one of her friends she met at Geelong.)

Julia: Home by 11, Meg.

Meg: *rolling her eyes* It's 12:30pm!

Julia: HOME BY 11 TONIGHT OR ELSE!

Meg: Fine, Mummy Dearest! *sprays hairspray on her hair*

*Julia goes out to Bette*

Julia: I don't understand that girl!

Bette: I didn’t understand Kierain at first.

Julia: Meg's turned into such a cow!

*Meg hears that and gets angry*

Meg: SHUT UP MUM! GOD YOU ARE SO ANNOYING!!!

Julia: GET OUT!

(Pam has brought Kierain to Number 28.)

Pam: I was hoping you would cheer Cody up. That Darren Wood is pestering her again.

Kierain: Is he that thick that I have to scare him TWICE??

Pam: Yes chook.

Kierain: RIGHT! *marches out the door*

Doug: No, where's he going?

Pam: To attend some business.

*Kierain finds Darren Wood in the Coffee Shop just in time to hear him make derogatory remarks about Cody and Josh.*

Kierain drags Darren to the lake and dunks him!

Kierain: IS CODY GOING OUT WITH YOU, YES OR NO??

Darren: YES!!!

*Kierain dunks him again!*

Kierain: TRY AGAIN BUSTER!!!

Darren: YES! YES! YES!

*Kierain dunks him a third time*

Kierain: ONE LAST CHANCE WOOD!

Darren: NO! ALL RIGHT! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!

Kierain: LEAVE CODY ALONE OR I'LL DO IT AGAIN RIGHT?

*Darren nods and runs off*

(At the Blaxland Mansion, Kimberley is on the phone when Lori returns home from having coffee with Jenny.)

Jacqueline: Lori, I gotta go out. Keep an eye on the roast.

Lori: Will do.

Grace: Have fun.

Jacqueline: After Reiko's tantrum at Faye? Wish me luck.

Grace: Good luck then. *smiles*

*Jacqueline smiles back before leaving*

Kimberley: YES!

Lori: What is it sis?

Kimberley: I got a part on A Country Practice!

Lori: Playing who?

Kimberley: A patient with epilepsy.

Lori: Oh cool! I'm so happy for you! *gives Kimberley a hug*

Jacqueline and Kierain are laying everything on the table.

Kierain: Ladies first.

Jacqueline: While I don't blame you or Faye for my car accident, I do believe that Reiko was out of line having a go at Faye like that. Elsewhere, it was wrong of me to not act out on Judy straight away when she tipped the milkshake on Bette. Judy has since quit from the diner and I reprimanded Reiko for her behaviour.

Kierain: I see. Are you also aware that Reiko tried to trespass on Faye's property?

Jacqueline: I wasn't aware of that. What happened?

Kierain: I came home yesterday and what did I see on Faye's car? "snobby bitch" ALL OVER it and this *shows her Reiko's name tag*

Jacqueline: I will make sure that Reiko apologises to you and Faye. I'm not having her behave like this!

Kierain: And what you said to me about being bullied. *shows her a year 12 class photo where he is outside the group while the others are in a big bunch.*

Jacqueline: And when you called me a hussy. *shows Kierain a police report from May 1986*

Kierain: I regret saying that to you. I really do.

Jacqueline: Shall we call a truce?

Kierain: I dunno. I’m pretty messed up since Darren died and so soon after Grandad but I’ll tell you something.

Jacqueline: What's that?

Kierain: If ANY of my mates get hassled in the diner, I’m going to hold you accountable as manager. Fair?

Jacqueline: And if I see anyone hassled, I'll be quick to put a stop to it. *smiles*

Kierain: you know we're both alike. I mean we've both survived car accidents where by rights we should have been killed.

Jacqueline: How many crashes have you survived?

Kierain: You remember the crash on Old Bay Road last year?

Jacqueline: Yep. That was dreadful.

Kierain: That was me. The car went under too.

Jacqueline: Oh. Any other crashes?

Kierain: Yes. Remember the one recently near the diner? Another underrun.

*Jacqueline gasps in horror and shock*

(At Summer Bay High on Monday, Rhonda and some other Year 12 girls are watching the school rugby team face off against Yabbie Creek High.)

Rhonda: The guy on the wing is hot.

Kristy Henderson: Who the Maori guy on the Yabbie Creek team?

Rhonda: Yeah.

Wendy Lovelace: I have to admit, he is hot.

*Yabbie Creek High's Anahera Brown and her fellow Year 11 friends Grace Heke and Shirley Russell approach the girls.*

Anahera: Hey.

Rhonda: Ana! Come here sis!

Tracey Tanner: Oh are you related?

*Shirley shoots daggers at Tracey*

Kierain: Alright until I soiled myself cause of BOOF using the disabled toilet.

Bev: That's no good.

*Bev gets the shampoo*

Bev: This shampoo smells awful for some reason.

Kierain: I’m just glad your not yelling at me for soiling my pants.

Bev: Why would I yell at you?

Kierain: Because you're cleaning it.

Bev: Of course not.

*Flashback to Tom yelling at Kierain for dirtying his track pants*

Tom: KIERAIN!

Kierain: I had an accident. *sobs*

Tom: ACCIDENT MY BACKSIDE!

*Pippa storms in*

Pippa: THOMAS!!!

Tom: WHAT?!?

Pippa: Lay off him!

*Tom storms off*

(As Bev carries Kierain to the lounge, he rests on her chest)

Bev: You just rest darling.

Katie: *sarcastically* Mummy!

Bev: Katie!

*Flashback to Bev meeting Kierain.*

Helen: Beverly, this is Kierain.

After the game has finished, Rhonda approaches Owen.

Rhonda: Hi.

Owen: Hey there girl. What's your name?

Rhonda: I'm Rhonda Sheridan. You're Owen right?

Rhonda: You guys are pretty good.

Owen: Hey thanks.

*As Rhonda and Owen are talking, Tracey Tanner is bitching to Larni about what Shirley said to her*

Tracey: BLOODY MORON!

*Kristy and Wendy snigger*

(Jacqueline returns home, mad at Reiko.)

Jacqueline: Did you write "snobby bitch" in lipstick on Faye Hudson's car?

*Reiko starts crying*

(At Faye’s that night, Kierain goes to her room. She is reading.)

*Faye resumes reading before looking up at Kierain.*

Kierain: I had a scary dream. Can I get in with you?

Faye: Of course dear.

*Kierain climbs in next to Faye.*

Faye: What was the nightmare?

Kierain: Tom was…

Faye: What?

Kierain: Hitting me.

*Faye hugs Kierain tight*

Kierain: What are you reading?

Faye: Just some cheap novel I bought in the grocery store line.

Kierain: Oh I didn’t mean to spoil it.

Faye: You never spoil anything dear. *smiles*

*Kierain snuggles up to Faye*

The next day (Tuesday), Gemma Ramsay visits Kierain.

Kierain: Hey. Why didn’t you go to Melissa’s party?

Gemma: I was down in Swan Hill.

Kierain: Ah. I thought you stayed away because of me.

Gemma: Have I missed something?

Kierain: Well I couldn't go as the place wasn't for wheelchairs and then Cody told me only a few turned up.

Gemma: Oh.

*Meg approaches Gemma*

Meg: This isn’t the 50’s.

Gemma: Grow up Meg!

Meg: Oh make me Ramsay!

*Gemma sprays hairspray in Meg's face!*

Kierain: Gemma! You’re not violent.

Gemma: I'm sick of her thinking she rules the place! *to Meg* Enjoyed it?

Kierain: I had another nightmare.

Pam and Kierain get on the Pacific Sun cruise liner.

Kierain: Wow! This is great!

Pam: And we get our own room too.

Kierain: It’s a pity Doug’s missing out.

Pam: Well, it’s his loss chook. WE’RE spending time together. That’s all that matters.

Kierain: Sure is. *smiles*

Pam: Let’s go to our room.

*Kierain and Pam go into their room, which has a double bed.*

Pam: I knew you would. And look, we have our own spa bath.

Pam: This is going to be the best cruise ever!

Dawn: I didn't know you were on this cruise. How have you been?

Dawn: Well, I've been good. I've missed you.

Kierain: I see. I have to go *wheels away*

Dawn: Take care of yourself old friend. *waves at Kierain*

Kierain *under breath now out of earshot* What's it to you?

Pam: Who are you talking to chook?

*Kierain looks at Pam*

Kierain: My ex is on the ship.

Pam: Who? Kangaroo Ruthie?

Kierain: No. Dawn.

Pam: I don't think you've told me about this Dawn girl. Explain her to me.

Kierain: She went out with me before Cody. HOWEVER she ditched me for the Spice Girls manager.

Pam: Why would she do that?

Pam: Her loss.

(At the dining hall, Pam and Kierain have to sit with Ross and Louise Keating.)

Kierain: Wait on. I know you. You visited Sal last year.

Louise: Yes we did. Whatever happened to her?

Ross: Why did you leave?

Kierain: Tom hated me.

Kierain: I’m sorry you had to see us fight.

Louise: *strained* Don't worry about it.

Louise: Of course not. *sips her glass of wine*

*Pam realises she's drunk*

*Soon, they are seated with Karl and Susan Kennedy*

(During the night, Kierain wakes on Pam's chest.)

*Pam looks down*

*Pam and Susan run after him*

*But as Kierain tries to go into Dawn's cabin, Rodney stops him*

*Some of the other guests on the cruise snigger at Kierain*

Girl: He needs anger management classes!

Man: Someone call a psychiatrist.

Kierain: Pam, I’m an embarrassment to you.

Pam: You're not.

Woman: My word young man! You're behaviour is out of control! There's a thing called respect for your elders you little ingrate! *walks off angrily*

*Kierain buries his head in Pam's shoulder*

*Pam strokes him as Susan appears*

Susan: Why is he crying? *looks concerned*

Pam: He’s really sorry, you know.

Susan: I know. *smiles*

*Louise Keating appears*

Louise: Kierain? What on earth is wrong?

Louise: Come here darling.

Susan: *to Pam* Why so angry?

Pam: DAWN cheated on Kierain when they were going out. I'm sure it's familiar ground for you.

(Bette video phones that night.)

Bette: How's the cruise Pamela?

Pam: Good. Kierain got into a fight though.

Bette: EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!!!!

Pam: DAWN is on this ship!

Bette: Hi.

Kierain: I don’t believe I did that.

Bette: What happened? Tell me.

Kierain: Well Karl was cheating on Susan and as I was telling him off, Dawn got in the way.

Kierain: I just lost it Bette. I wanted to kill her!

Bette: I'm sure we all do.

(Later, a woman approaches Kierain.)

Woman: Excuse me?

Kierain: Yes?

Woman: I'm looking for my dog. Have you seen it?

Kierain: What does it look like?

Woman: Come to my cabin. I have a photo of what my cute little dog looks like.

Kierain: Oh no. I’m not falling for this!

*The woman puts a hand over Kierain's mouth and drags him to her cabin, locking the door. The woman is none other than Betty Fulwell.*

Betty: I don't have a dog!

Kierain: What are you doing?

Betty: You’ll see.

*But before Betty can do anything, Donna Maxon saves the day!*

Donna: Donna Maxon! *throws Betty into the sea!*
