At Summer Bay High the next day (Thursday), Josh is walking and holding hands with Misty.

Misty: I just can’t wait for the school holidays! Karen Fischer is going to the city on Saturday. She asked us if we wanted to go.

*Josh just sighs*

Misty: Babe?

Josh: There’s something you should know. I’m going back to Mildura on Saturday.

Misty: What?

Josh: Yeah. I have to go back to my parents. Aurora phoned the police and they got a hold of Mum and she told me to head back home so we could sort things out.

Misty: I see. So, what does this mean about us?

Josh: I’m going to have to sign out of school and go back to Mildura High.

Misty: Why are you avoiding the question Josh? What is going to happen to us now?

Josh: I think it’s best if we ended our relationship.

Misty: *about to cry* But why? Can’t we try a long distance relationship?

Josh: It’s just not going to work. I’m sorry Misty, but I think we should be friends from now on.

Misty: Fine. *walks off*

Josh: Misty! *bangs his fist into the locker as Tiago and Lee walk past*

Lee: Hey buddy. Something wrong?

Josh: Yes. I’m leaving Summer Bay.

Lee/Tiago: WHAT?!?

Josh: Have to go back to my parents in Mildura on Saturday.

Tiago: That sucks man! We’ll miss you.

Josh: Thanks. I’ll miss everyone too, especially Misty.

Lee: Did you break it off with her?

*Josh nods sadly*

Tiago: Don’t worry man. I’m sure she’ll understand.

*Karen walks over to the guys*

Karen: Josh? What’s going on with Misty? She’s practically bawling her eyes out.

Josh: Oh no.

Karen: Did I miss something?

Lee: Josh is going back to Mildura on Saturday.

Karen: But I thought you left that place.

Josh: Have to go back. The police want me to come home and sort things out with my parents.

Karen: I guess Misty didn’t take it well.

Josh: No. I amicably broke it off with her. A long distance relationship just wouldn’t work out.

Lee: We understand brother.

Josh: I better head to class. See you guys later. *walks off sadly*

Karen: We HAVE to throw him a farewell party!

Tiago: We don’t have time. The hall’s booked tomorrow night.

Karen: Who said it had to be at the community hall? I meant at his place. You know the mansion?

Lee: Oh yeah. That’s right. *smiles*

(Meanwhile, Misty is crying in the ladies bathroom, being comforted by Lauren.)

Lauren: Why did Josh dump you? You guys were so happy together.

Misty: He has to go back to Mildura. Can’t he stay here?

Lauren: I just wish that were simple, but if he has to go back…

Misty: I wish you’d stop saying that! If I see this Aurora, I’m going to beat her up!

Lauren: And what would that achieve Misty? You having a criminal record that’s what!

Misty: I don’t care Lauren. I lost the only guy that ever cared about me thanks to that bitch!

*Lauren hugs Misty*

At the Fletcher’s, Morag arrives to see Bobby. Lil is far from impressed to see her.

Lil: What do YOU want Morag?

Morag: I’m here to see Bobby. Is that all right Lillian?

Lil: *coolly* Sure. Come in.

*Morag goes inside just as Bobby comes down the stairs*

Bobby: Get out!

Morag: What impertinence! Good thing I gave you up for adoption!

Morag: DO NOT ADDRESS ME IN THAT TONE ROBERTA!!! I JUST CAME BY TO TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER CLASSIFIED AS MY DAUGHTER!!!!

Bobby: Hallelujah! We can throw a party now!

Morag: Glad to see that you are being sarcastic about it.

Lil: You know what Morag? GET OUT!!!!

Morag: Oh don’t worry Lillian. I’m leaving! *walks out of the house*

Lil: You okay Bobby?

Bobby: Yeah, I’ll be fine. I might go and see what Narelle is doing. *walks off*

*Lil sighs as the phone rings*

Lil: Hello? Oh hi Miss Dohnal. What’s up? Really? What time can we expect them? 2 o’clock on Saturday. Great thanks. Bye. *hangs up the phone*

*Tom walks in*

Tom: Hi love. How are you? *kisses Lil*

Lil: It was okay. I just got off the phone with Bamato. We’re getting two new foster kids. They arrive on Saturday.

Tom: What are their names?

Lil: Cody and Colette Dawson. They’re blood siblings.

Tom: Interesting. I’m sure we can put them in a room.

Lil: Which brings me to another thing. Morag was here earlier and she practically disowned Bobby.

*Tom looks guilty*

Tom: I see.

Lil: Yeah. Pretty rough stuff.

Tom: I might go and rest. *heads upstairs*

*Lil sighs*

(At the Bridgewater Apartments, a new family is moving into Dawn’s old apartment. They are the Higgins family that consist of single dad Bob and his two daughters, 13 year-old Ann and 8 year-old Beth.)

Bob: What do you think girls?

Beth: I like it Daddy. I like it.

Ann: It’s okay I guess. But why did we have to leave the farm?

Bob: Because your Mum wanted it that’s why Ann.

Ann: She’s so mean.

Beth: You don’t say.

Bob: Would you be okay sharing a room with your older sister Beth?

Beth: Yes Daddy!

Bob: I’m glad. Well, go unpack girls.

*Ann and Beth race into their new bedroom as Stacey walks in*

Stacey: Bob Higgins?

Bob: May I help you?

Stacey: I’m Stacey Macklin, your landlady.

Bob: Oh hello Stacey. *they shake hands* How much is the rent going to be?

Stacey: $80 dollars a week. I hope you can manage that.

Bob: Without a doubt love. *smiles*

*Stacey smiles back*

That night, Kierain and Emma are out on their first date at a restaurant in Yabbie Creek.

Kierain: What do you think of this place Emma?

Emma: It’s all right I guess.

Kierain: Just hope the food is nice.

Emma: And the waiter isn’t clumsy!

*Kierain laughs*

Emma: I hate clumsy waiters.

Kierain: You and me both.

*A waiter goes over to them*

Waiter: May I take your order lovely couple?

*Kierain and Emma order their food*

Kierain: See, the waiter wasn’t so bad tonight.

*Emma just smiles*

Kierain: I hear the bitch has left.

Emma: Yeah. She decided to live with Aunty Debra in Western Australia. Good riddance.

Kierain: Yeah. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

*As Kierain and Emma are enjoying their meal, they are interrupted by a rude woman.*

Woman: THIS PLACE IS FOR REFINED PEOPLE ONLY!!!

Emma: SHOVE IT LADY!!!

Woman: EXCUSE ME?!? HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME THAT WAY!!!

Emma: Kierain?

Kierain: Yes Emma?

*Kierain passes Emma the bottle of champagne who then proceeds to pour it all over the woman*

Emma: This has been such a fun date. We should do it again sometime.

Misty: I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY LIFE!!!! JOSH HAS TO GO BACK TO HIS PARENTS IN MILDURA BECAUSE OF YOU!!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!

*Aurora looks sad as Misty storms off*

Ailsa: Are you okay?

Aurora: I'm fine. Thanks for asking Ailsa.

*Karen Fischer walks in and sees Aurora*

Karen: YOU!!!

Aurora: What now?

*Karen looks unimpressed*

Karen: YOU GOT JOSH SENT AWAY!!!

Aurora: He hasn't even left yet! Why is everyone blaming me for this?

Karen: YOU KNOW WHY!

(At Summer Bay High, Josh is signing out of school much to Lois's disappointment.)

Lois: I’m sorry you’re leaving.

Josh: I know. These past few weeks at this school have been awesome. I'm sure all my friends at Mildura High are waiting for me.

Lois: I wish you well.

Josh: Thanks. *leaves the office to find Lee in tears* Buddy?

Lee: I can’t believe you’re going.

Josh: You still coming to the farewell party tonight?

Lee: Of course I am.

*June and Robbie walk over to Josh and Lee*

Robbie: Hey guys.

Josh: Hey Robbie. Hey June.

*June looks upset*

June: I wish you weren’t going.

Beryl is at the CWA centre when Emma and Celia walk in.

Emma: Where's Kez?

Beryl: Haven’t seen him all day. How about you Celia?

Celia: He said he was coming to meet Emma.

*Kierain walks in*

Emma: Don't you mean ladies? *smiles*

Kierain: I saw Colleen heading here. She looks angry.

Celia: We kicked her out of the CWA due to her negative attitude.

*At that moment, Colleen barges in.*

Colleen: WHY HAVE I BEEN KICKED OUT OF THE CWA?!?

Colleen: I SEE HOW IT IS! *pushes Kierain over before storming off*

*Emma goes after her*

*Emma slaps Colleen across the face before storming back inside the building*

(That afternoon, Misty is crying on the beach when Josh approaches her. He's been crying too.)

Josh: Misty?

Misty: Oh Josh. *cries even harder*

Josh: Don’t cry.

Misty: You've been crying.

*Josh sits next to Misty and puts his arm around her*

Josh: I’ll write to you.

Misty: I bet that bitch is gloating back at the mansion.

Josh: Actually, she's not.

Misty: Sure.

Josh: We'll still be friends. I promise I'll write to you when I get back to Mildura.

Misty: It won't be the same without you.

*Misty and Josh hug*

At the Blaxland Mansion that night, Josh's farewell party is in full swing.

Karen: Having fun Joshie Boy?

Josh: Yes.

Leanne: Why did you get such great features Josh?

Josh: God liked me I guess.

*Aurora approaches Misty*

Aurora: Misty?

Misty: Don't talk to me.

Aurora: Please?

*Nicole and Lauren look shocked*

*Aurora walks off*

(At 7:30pm, Tiago and Alice are with Josh.)

Josh: Tiago, I think this is the first time I've seen you cry.

Tiago: I’m not crying.

Alice: Then why are we seeing tears pouring down bro? *to Josh* He was like this at Mary Wong's farewell party too.

Tiago: Was not!

Alice: For two days, you were in your room crying because you missed her that much.

*Tiago wipes away his tears*

Tiago: I miss you man. *goes to shake Josh's hand*

(At 7:50pm, Karen approaches Aurora in the kitchen.)

Karen: Aurora? I would like to apologise for my behaviour earlier this morning at the diner. I realise that you were doing the right thing.

Aurora: WHY are you talking to me?! I'm just an interfering maid!

Karen: I was only saying sorry. Fine be like that! *walks off to where Leanne, Kellie and Geri are*

Geri: Karen?

Karen: I'm all goods Geri.

Kellie: Why is everyone giving the poor maid a hard time?

Karen: I wanna go home.

Leanne: Karen no.

*Josh walks over to the girls and sees that Karen is about to break down*

Josh: Karen?

Karen: I'm going to miss you so much pal! Why do all the nice people always have to leave? *starts to cry*

*Josh hugs her*

At Coral D's, she is frantic on the phone to Beryl.

Coral D: Beryl? Beryl are you there?

Beryl: What is it?

Coral D: I need you to stay with Kierain. Tom's had a stroke

Beryl: I'll be on my way. *hangs up the phone before going to Coral D's*

Coral D: Come in.

Beryl: Where is he?

*Coral D brings her to Kierain's room*

Kierain: Hi Beryl.

*Beryl wraps her arms around him*

Beryl: You okay dumpling?

Kierain: Fine. Why?

Beryl: Hasn't Gran told you about Tom?

Kierain: Yeah of course.

Beryl: Let it out dumpling. *looks at Kierain sympathetically*

Kierain: What?

Beryl: Ms Drouyn a word?

Coral D: What is it?

Beryl: Doesn’t he care?

Coral D: He doesn't.

Beryl: Why?

*Coral D explains everything to Beryl*

Beryl: How can I help?

Coral D: Just talk to him. *walks off*

(Back at the mansion, Rhonda and Heather are talking about Lynn. It is now 8:30pm.)

Heather: I'm worried about Lynn.

Rhonda: Why?

Heather: I've noticed some marks on her arms lately.

Rhonda: You don’t think…

Heather: Yes Rhonda. I think she's doing drugs. *looks serious*

(At 9:40pm, Samuelu and Nina are talking to Josh.)

Samuelu: Josh?

Josh: Yes man?

Samuelu: Stay safe.

Josh: Thanks buddy. *shakes Samuelu's hand*

Nina: I'll miss you Mr Anderson. *smiles*

Josh: Me too. You just produce some hits.

*Nina hugs Josh*

The next morning (Saturday), Josh is packing his bags before Jacqueline takes him to the bus station.

David: Got everything mate?

Josh: Sure do.

Reiko: Did you have a great farewell party?

Josh: It was the best.

*Vanessa comes downstairs*

Vanessa: You forgot this Josh. *hands him the signature book and photo album he was given to the night before*

*Misty and Lee walk in*

Jacqueline: I'll leave you three to say goodbye. *to the roomies* Kitchen!

Lee: So this is it.

Misty: Not quite. Lee? Don't you want to give Josh the present we got for him?

Lee: Oh yeah! *hands Josh a package*

*Josh opens it to find a photo frame with two photos in it. One with him and Misty and the other with him and Lee*

Josh: Wow thanks!

Misty: Make sure you write.

*Jacqueline walks back in*

Jacqueline: You ready to go Josh?

Josh: Yep.

Lee: See ya mate. *shakes Josh's hand which then becomes a hug*

Josh: Bye brother Lee.

Misty: I'll miss you angel face. *starts to cry*

*Josh gets into Jacqueline's car and they drive to the bus station*

(That afternoon, Bamato arrives at the Fletcher's with Cody and Colette Dawson.)

Bamato: Hello?

Coral D: Yes?

Bamato: Hello Mrs Drouyn. This is Cody Dawson and his sister Colette. They are Tom and Lil's latest charges.

Colette: How are ya?

Coral D: Fine thank you.

Bamato: Where's Tom and Lil?

Coral D: At the hospital. Tom had a stroke last night. Lil's with him now.

Cody: Is he going to be okay?

Coral D: I hope so.

That afternoon, a depressed Misty is in her bedroom drinking champagne when she hears Judith approaching.

*Misty quickly hides the bottle as Judith walks in*

Judith: Hey Misty.

Misty: *sadly* Hey Judith.

Judith: Are you okay?

Misty: No. I don’t think I’ll ever be okay again.

Judith: You know I was really sad when my best friend Alison Patterson moved to the city. I was also sad when Bernadette and Mary left as well.

Misty: This is different. I really cared about Josh. He was loving, caring, easygoing and practically the nicest guy you could’ve met. I don’t understand why he had to go back to Mildura.

Judith: His parents wanted him to come home so they could sort things out.

Misty: No thanks to that bitch! She thinks she’s so great just because she’s a maid. I hate her so much that I just want to punch her out!

Judith: That’s not going to solve the issue. You can still write to him.

Misty: True.

Judith: I’m going to the diner. Did you want to come?

Misty: No. I’d rather stay here.

Judith: Suit yourself then. *leaves the room*

*Misty takes the bottle of champagne and continues to drink it*

(At Trish Longley’s house, she has one of her school friends over.)

Trish: Do you want to know something interesting about my freaky neighbours next door Jodie?

Trish: The oldest girl Larni is a street worker.

Trish: True story. Amy is a bitch, Lewis is a little midget and wait till you hear about Taylor.

Jodie: What’s wrong with Taylor?

Trish: According to a reliable source, Taylor was fostered out because used to beat his mother up.

At the diner, Cody and Colette are sitting in a booth with Kellie and Garry.

Cody: What’s this place like?

Kellie: It’s a great place. I didn’t like it at first, but I love it now.

Colette: Are there any good clothing stores?

Kellie: Reefton Lakes has a major shopping centre full of great clothing stores. You can take a bus there.

Colette: I’d rather be driven there.

Garry: Where are you guys from?

Cody: Ireland. We moved to Australia when I was 12 and Colette was 10.

Garry: How old are you now?

Cody: I’m 16 in July and Colette will be 14 in October.

Garry: Nice.

Colette: Is the school any good?

Kellie: Yes. But we don’t go back for another two weeks cause it’s school holidays.

Colette: Right then. I’ll be in Year 8 and Cody will be in Year 10.

Kellie: Interesting. Why were you guys fostered out?

Cody: Dad got killed in a motorcycle accident when we were young and Mum’s currently in an institution.

Garry: Why?

Colette: She tried to kill Cody.

Kellie: No way!

Cody: That’s right. I hope that your foster father is okay.

Kellie: Lil said this morning that Tom is slowly recovering. So, that’s a good sign.

Garry: Why was Carly in such a bad mood this morning sis?

Kellie: She’s ticked off because Kierain hasn’t visited Tom. She thinks he’s being selfish.

Garry: Can you blame Kez though?

Kellie: No I don’t.

Colette: Who’s this Kierain fellow?

Kellie: Our foster brother who Tom DISOWNED!

Cody: That’s mean.

Garry: I know right.

Colette: Lil seems nice though.

Kellie: She is so nice. *smiles*

*Cody and Colette smile back*

(At Coral D’s, Kierain is crying to Beryl. He had a confrontation with Carly at the beach earlier that day.)

Kierain: I’m not selfish Beryl. I’m not selfish.

Beryl: I know you aren’t dumpling. Who called you selfish?

Kierain: Carly. She says that because I haven’t visited Tom, I’m selfish! I mean Tom was the one that disowned me in the first place!

Beryl: I know love. Your Gran told me everything.

Kierain: I just wish Carly was more sensitive to my feelings.

Beryl: Lil and the rest of your siblings understand you know darling.

Kierain: Not Sally.

Beryl: I wouldn’t worry about that little brat! I just hope she gets sent to boarding school.

*Bette arrives home*

Beryl: How is he Bette?

Bette: Slowly getting better.

Bette: I only visited for Coral, Lil and the children’s sake. *to Kierain* You okay love?

At Judith’s house that night, Misty is drinking more champagne in the living room when there is a knock at the front door.

Misty: *drunkenly* Who is it?

Aurora: It’s Aurora McKinney.

*Misty goes over to the door and throws it open*

Aurora: Are you okay? You seem awfully dazed.

Misty: Dazed? What the hell does “dazed” mean?

Aurora: Have you been drinking?

Misty: What of it? And why are you caring all of the sudden? YOU’RE the one that got Josh Anderson sent back to Mildura! Hope you are happy bitch!

Aurora: You’re in no condition to talk to me. Sober up and then we’ll talk. *walks away*

*Misty slams the door and throws herself onto the couch sulking*

Judith: What was that commotion about?

Misty: Just the bitch wanting to talk to me.

Misty: I’ve had a few sips of champagne today.

I arrived safely and am sorting it all out its slow going but we'll get there. How are you? Miss you

*Now, it's Kellie's turn to lose it*

Lynn: Can someone fill me in on what's happened to Kez during my departure?

*Kellie explains it all to Lynn*

*Heather is having an anxiety attack*

*Coral D manages to calm Heather down*

Kierain: Carly and Sally seem to think I am because I haven't visited Tom in hospital.

The next day (Saturday), Karen Fischer and Tracey Bright are visiting Heather in the hospital.

Karen: Feeling any better Heather?

Heather: Slowly. The doctor says I’ve just got to rest and take things slowly. I’ll be able to come home by Tuesday at the latest.

Tracey: I can’t believe Jordan stabbed you. That was a pretty low act!

Heather: He went to stab Tiago, but he got me instead.

Karen: I feel so bad for you.

Heather: Don’t worry about me, Karen. I’ll be fine.

Tracey: Has the family visited you today?

Heather: No. They’re coming to visit later this afternoon. Kez has already seen me this morning.

Karen: That’s cool. Did he bring Emma?

Heather: Yes he did.

Tracey: I heard they were going out.

Heather: They are. Oh and Tracey?

Tracey: Yes?

Heather: Thanks for the flowers.

Tracey: No worries.

Karen: Did you hear that Mr Fisher is coming back next term?

Heather: Yeah I did.

Tracey: And that Crawford is taking us for Maths?

Heather: Really? I wonder what happened to Kerry the whale?

Tracey: I heard she took up a position at Mangrove River High.

Karen: Bogan central!

*The girls start laughing*

(At Margaret’s place, Kierain is visiting while Coral D and Coral K are out on a shopping trip.)

Margaret: How are you?

Kierain: I’m good. I just hope Bette comes back from her tour soon.

Margaret: I’m sure she will darling.

Kierain: And I just wish that Tiffany would leave me and Emma alone.

Margaret: If she continues to give you a hard time, let me know and I’ll give her a good talking to. Little brat!

Kierain: She’s 16.

Margaret: She’s still a brat regardless.

Kierain: I know. She’s worse than Sally and Roo put together!

At the diner, Alice is hanging out with Steven.

Alice: Sorry to hear about you and Viv.

Steven: Don’t worry about it. I never should’ve dumped you for her in the first place.

Alice: Lesson learnt. *smiles*

Steven: Do you want to go back out with me?

Alice: Well…

Steven: It’s okay if you say no.

Alice: I’ve been doing some thinking and I want to go back out with you.

Steven: Really?

*Alice nods*

*they kiss as Viv enters the diner*

Alice: Excuse me Viv? YOU’RE the one that cheated on him with Matt!
