At the Diner, Lois is having a coffee at the diner when she sees Doris Peters walk in.
Roo: Oh hello Mrs Peters. How are you?
Doris: Very good thanks Ruth. May I have a coffee please?
Roo: Sure.
Doris: Can you believe that one of the Fletcher kids is dating a woman half his age?
Roo: WHAT?!?
Doris: He’s dating that Nina Olivera woman.
Roo: So?
Doris: So, she’s half his age!
*Lois goes over to Doris*
Lois: Excuse me? Can I say something here? If you are referring to Samuelu Luisi, I’d appreciate it if you DIDN’T talk about my students behind their back.
Doris: You ghastly creature! How dare you speak to me that way!
Lois: And as for Nina, just because there’s an age difference between them doesn’t make it illegal for them to date! So, why don’t you go make yourself useful and go play bowls with your little old ladies. Good day. *walks off*
*Doris is so shocked that she can’t even speak*
(At the Blaxland Mansion, Jacqueline and the Roomies are talking about roommates in general.)
Jacqueline: So, have you guys thought about having another roommate to join our brood?
Reiko: Been thinking about it and I think we should.
Jillian: I agree with Reiko.
Jacqueline: Ready to vote on it?
*The roomies raise their hands in an agreed vote*
Jacqueline: Then it’s settled. I’ve already placed an ad in the local paper. So, we should get a call soon.
David: Just imagine if Yvette Howard responded to the ad.
*Grace rolls her eyes*
Grace: I wouldn’t want to live with HER again!
*Adrian bursts into giggles*
Reiko: Who’s Yvette Howard?
Jacqueline: Trust me Reiko, you wouldn’t want to live with her. She’s a pig that used to live with us when we were still living in the city.
Vanessa: And she would bring home these random people from the bar.
Grace: I remember the day Jackie kicked her out. Greatest day of my life.
(Flashback to September 1987 where Jacqueline throwing Yvette Howard out of the house.)
Jacqueline: Yvette! I’m sick and tired of your room being an absolute mess! You live in a pigsty! And I’m also sick of you bringing home every man and his dog at all hours of the night! We’ve hardly had any sleep! So, I suggest Yvette you go back and live in Cabramatta with your parents! Cause I’ve HAD IT!!!!!
*Grace is laughing her head off in her bedroom*
(end flashback)
Jillian: So, how did Yvette take it?
Jacqueline: She bolted out of the house! *laughs*

David: Another one of our old roommates from the city. She was a bitch!
Reiko: How long did she last?
Jacqueline: A week. She hated living in the house, so she went to find alternative accommodation. Good riddance I say.
Jillian: How long did Yvette last?
Grace: Six painful weeks. It would’ve been shorter except we gave her A LOT of chances.
Reiko: Jillian and I most certainly DON’T want to know her!
*Everyone laughs*

Meanwhile, Kierain wakes up in the basement of Julia’s house.
Kierain: Where am I?
*Julia comes down the stairs*
Julia: Mr Geaney. You are in my basement.
Kierain: WHY?!?
Julia: I want my plan for the NBN to pass parliament, so you MUST perform!
Kierain: And if I don’t?
Julia: Then you’ll be here forever!

(At Parliament House, the speaker is about to formally abolish the NBN deal when Pauline Hanson storms in.)
*John Howard looks shocked*
John: PAULINE HANSON!!!!
Pauline: That’s right Mr Howard! I’m back in parliament. As new Summer Bay MP, I WILL vote for the NBN!
John: But….
*Pauline votes ‘yes’ for the NBN*

On Wednesday morning, Pauline arrives at Coral D’s to inform them what happened to Kierain.
*Coral D opens the door*
Coral D: May I help you?
Pauline: I’m Pauline Hanson, the new Summer Bay MP. I want to talk about Kierain.
Coral D: What’s happened to him?
Bette: We’d like you to tell us EVERYTHING Miss Hanson!
*Pauline tells Coral D and Bette everything*

At Summer Bay High, Lynn approaches Charmaine behind the basketball courts during lunch break.
Lynn: Hey Charmaine.
Charmaine: Hi. Who are you again?
Lynn: Lynn. Lynn Davenport. I’m in Year 10.
Charmaine: Oh hi Lynn. What’s up?
Lynn: I need a smoke.
Charmaine: Go ask Leanne for one.
Lynn: She isn’t here today. I’ve already asked Geri and Kellie, but they said no.
Charmaine: Well, I don’t smoke.
Lynn: Do you want to?
Charmaine: Oh absolutely. But my parents would go off their heads if they found out I smoked.
Lynn: Did you want to go to the youth centre after school?
Charmaine: Sure. I used to go to a youth centre back in Adelaide.
Lynn: You lived in Adelaide? How awesome!
Charmaine: I’m actually starting to like it here. *smiles*
Lynn: You know Karen Fischer?
Charmaine: Yeah I do. She’s nice.
Lynn: I think she’s a bit of a ditz.
Charmaine: She’s nothing like that dopey Maths teacher.
Lynn: I have to tell you something about that freak. She’s leaving Summer Bay High.
Charmaine: Really? Where’s she going?
Lynn: Mangrove River. *laughs*
Charmaine: Hope the students there enjoy her.
*Lynn and Charmaine both start laughing their heads off*
(At Nina’s holiday house, she is saying goodbye to her parents who are on their way back to Sydney.)
Nina: Make sure that you call me when you both get home.
Portia: We will darling.
Nina: Promise?
Luis: Of course we promise our darling daughter. *kisses Nina on the cheek*
*Portia then hugs Nina*
Portia: Promise to come and visit soon.
Nina: I will.
*Portia and Luis get inside the taxi and it drives off*
Nina: Goodbye Mum and Dad.

*Nina heads back inside to watch Days Of Our Lives on TV*

At the Blaxland Mansion, Jacqueline and the Roomies are getting to know Josh more.
Jacqueline: So where are you from Joshua?
Josh: I come from Mildura.
Grace: Mildura? Where is that?
Josh: It’s in Victoria.
Grace: Oh right. *smiles*
Vanessa: How old are you? You look mighty young for your age.
Josh: I’ll be 15 in June.
*The roomies look shocked*
Jacqueline: You are 14 years-old? We’ve never had someone that age come and live with us.
Josh: That’s not a problem right?
David: Not at all buddy. *smiles*
*Adrian bursts into giggles*

Jacqueline: Oh okay.
Josh: So, where did Reiko and Jillian go?
Jacqueline: Reiko’s filming her show while Jillian’s gone to do some shopping in Yabbie Creek. Why do you ask?
Josh: I just need help getting into the local high school that’s all. I’m in Year 9 this year.
Vanessa: I’ll help you enrol, while Grace here will get you your school uniform.
Grace: I’m sure the girls will love you at Summer Bay High Josh.
*Josh blushes and smiles as the roomies laugh*
(That night, Darren and Sean are at Blackmoor Prison getting ready to get their revenge on Julia.)
Darren: Got the eggs Sean?
Sean: I just wish John wasn’t sick. He would’ve loved this.
Darren: I know. So, let’s throw them at her.
*They see Julia getting out of the police wagon*

Misty: No. I’ve been homeless since I was 9.

(At the youth centre, Josh is playing pool with Lee, Charmaine and Lynn.)

Josh: Yeah I have. Back home, I have a pool table so I practice a lot with the old boy. *smiles*
Charmaine: Who’s the old boy?
Lynn: *sarcastically* Really Charmaine? He’s talking about his dad!
Charmaine: Oh right. Sorry.
Josh: Don’t worry about it. *smiles*
*Lee shoots the ball and three of the coloured balls go inside the holes*

Lynn: Is that supposed to impress me? *smirks*

Lynn: Well, I’m impressed. *to Charmaine* Let’s go see what Karen and that are doing.

Lee: Why did you leave Mildura?
Josh: I ran away from home because Mum and Dad have been having problems lately and I’m sick of hearing them argue.

Josh: I told him to stay.
Lee: Sounds like you’re a good brother. *smiles*

Lee: You doing anything tomorrow night?
Josh: Don’t know yet. Why? What did you want to do?
Lee: I was gonna go to Yogurtland, then go to Yabbie Creek to watch a movie.

That night, Emma is walking past the surf club when she sees Bernadette.

Emma: Hi Bernadette. I hear you are having a farewell party.

Bernadette: I feel sorry for her.

Misty: So what's wrong?
Josh: I don’t know if you heard about the car smash last year with Kierain Geaney, but my ex caused it.

Misty: My parents died in house fire. Welfare didn't help me much, so I finished primary school through this program that was run by them.
