*Coral D and Bette arrive at the house, having been told what happened by Kierain*

Nina: It’s a chain of international frozen yogurt stores. It first started in America.
Tiago: Is Summer Bay the first Australian town to have a Yogurtland shop?
Nina: No. There’s one in the city, Manly, Parramatta, Glendale and another store somewhere in New South Wales. The frozen yogurt is delicious.
Taylor: Okay.
Nina: I’ll just get your drinks. *walks off*
Samuelu: It’s great hanging with you guys!

The next day (Friday), Yogurtland opens its doors near the surf club. Miss Nelson’s brother, Scott is the store manager
Scott: I hope all you locals enjoy our frozen yogurt at Yogurtland! I’m going to open the doors…NOW!!! *opens the doors*
*Locals storm inside the shop with excitement*
(Meanwhile, Judy is starting to get impatient with Martin Kelly because her house still hasn’t been built.)

Martin: It will be completed by Sunday. Just be patient.

Outside the school, Lois is about to get into her car when she hears someone cry loudly.
*Lois runs over and sees that a young boy around 7 years-old has fallen off his bike and grazed all of his arms and legs*
Lois: Are you okay young man?
Boy: *wailing* It hurts.
Lois: I’ll make it all better. *cleans the young boy up and puts bandages on him* Is that better?
*The boy wipes away his tears*
Boy: Thank you lady. *smiles*
*The boy’s mother runs over to him*
Boy’s mother: Oh my lord! What happened?
Boy: I fell off my bike Mummy, but this nice lady helped me get rid of the boo-boos.
Boy’s mother: Thank you so much lady. I greatly appreciate it.
Lois: No worries. Make sure you get home safely.
Boy: Bye Mrs Nurse. *blows kisses at Lois*
*Lois smiles sweetly*
(Meanwhile, Dawn decides to book a flight to California to get away from the scandal that has ruined her relationship with Kierain)
Woman: So, that’s a one way trip to California?
Dawn: Yes. I need to go and see Mum for a while.

Scott: Oh man. It’s been flat out. Everyone is talking about Yogurtland like there’s no tomorrow. Even Ailsa Stewart said some of her customers wouldn’t stop talking about Yogurtland.
Nina: How’s Valerie?

Scott: She’s good. *to Anahera* Valerie is my sister. She’s an English teacher at Summer Bay High.
Anahera: I go to Yabbie Creek High so I wouldn’t know what kind of teacher she’s like.

That afternoon, Lynn arrives home from Lee‘s house and has a new piercing located on her chin.

Kierain: Fine. *opens up the letter*
To my boo Kierain,
I just want you to know that I‘m going to California for a while to clear my head upon this horrible scandal. The truth is, the manager came onto me. I tried to walk away and get into your car, but he grabbed me by the wrist and he kissed me. I was so ashamed that I couldn’t even file an indecent assault report to the police because YOU are the love of my life, no one else. Always remember Kierain, you are number #1 in my eyes.

The next day (Monday), the Maths faculty are complaining about Kerry to Lois and Donald.
Miss Phelps: We would like to talk to you about Kerry Wood, the new Maths teacher that started last week.
Mr Gorman: That woman is a bloody fruitcake!
Donald: What do you mean Mr Gorman?
Mr Gorman: On Friday, her Year 9 Maths class did absolutely no work at all. All she did was talk about knitting, a topic unrelated to Maths.
Lois: Do go on.
Mr Gorman: I had Tracey Bright, a Year 11 student see me on the same day. She made a complaint that Kerry refused to mark her work because she supposedly answered the questions wrong. When Mr Dreyer taught his Year 11 Maths class, Tracey was getting high marks.
Miss Phelps: It’s not just her laziness and super happy attitude that get to us. We feel that she’s letting students down by not grading their work or not teaching the subject at all. Why did she even teach Maths in the first place?
Donald: Miss Phelps. How does Mrs Wood behave in the staffroom?
Miss Phelps: I would NEVER insult my fellow colleagues Donald, but Kerry needs to stop wearing dresses that don’t fit her. This morning, she came into work wearing a blue dress. It was so tight that I can’t even explain it.
Lois: Mrs Ryan? You’re awfully quiet. Have you got any complaints about Kerry Wood?
Mrs Ryan: Yes I do. Whenever she has a class, she writes on the chalkboard really slowly and always gives out pop quizzes. That rewards poor learning in my opinion.

*The Maths teachers leave the office*

Donald: I’m going to set a meeting with Kerry later this week. Does Period 6 sound great?
Lois: I can’t. I’m teaching Miss Nelson’s Year 11 English class this afternoon. How about tomorrow morning?

Leanne: I’m seriously starting to get sick of Mrs Wood!

Nina: I really want to have a family of my own. All I think about is “when am I going to find the right guy and settle down?”. All my relationships with men always end short, but I feel like that when I’m with you Samuelu, I’m happy. *wipes away her tears*
Samuelu: Something else is bothering you.
Nina: It’s just that my parents were devout Catholics and never wanted me to become a success. I felt that everything I did was wrong so when I was 15, I left home and lived in a youth hostel while attending school. I haven’t spoken to my parents in ten years.
Samuelu: I’m so sorry to hear that Nina.
Nina: People know me as Nina Olivera - The Social Butterfly That Brought Fame to Today’s Popular Singers. But the truth is, I had a rough life. I feel like my whole life is façade. *starts to cry again*
*Samuelu hugs Nina again*
Samuelu: If it makes you feel better, I hated my parents too for not listening to me when I told them that my older brother was sexually abusing me.
Nina: You were abused? Oh Sami! *cries harder*
*Samuelu starts to get choked up and kisses Nina’s forehead while hugging her*
(Meanwhile, Darren and other Collingwood players are helping strangers)
Darren: Would you like a hand with that love?
Woman: Oh thanks.
*Darren takes the woman’s suitcase and puts it in her car*
Colin Alexander: Let me help you cross the road sir. *helps an elderly man cross the road*
*After about an hour of helping people, Darren and the Collingwood players call it a day*
Darren: Nice job guys.
Colin: It’s nice to help people isn’t it Darren?
Darren: It sure is Colin.

That afternoon, Julia Gillard is visiting the Bay when she meets Kierain.
Kierain: What are you doing in the Bay Ms Gillard?
Julia: I’m here to promote the NBN.
Kierain: NBN?
Julia: The National Broadband Network. It’s set to make your internet speed faster.
Kierain: Has it passed through parliament yet?
Julia: Through the lower house. The upper house will vote on it in a few weeks.
Kierain: You have a great day now.
Julia: You too.
*Kierain leaves*
Julia: *thinking to herself* He’s a nice boy.
(When Kierain arrives home, Coral D has his suitcases packed.)
Coral D: How long are you planning on staying with Darren and Denise?
Kierain: Until Tuesday.
Coral D: You be careful won’t you?
Kierain: I’m always careful Gran. *smiles*
*Coral D hugs Kierain*
Coral D: You have a good time okay possum?
Kierain: Will do.
*Bette puts his suitcases into the car*
Bette: You ready to go now darling?
Kierain: Absolutely Bette.
*Bette helps Kierain in the car before pulling out of the driveway and heading to the Millane’s house in Reefton Lakes*

That night, Nina is inside her holiday house drinking Pepsi. She is having flashbacks of her past.

Portia (Nina’s Mum): NINA OLIVERA!!! IF YOU WALK OUT OF THIS HOUSE, YOU ARE NEVER COMING BACK!!!
Luis (Nina’s Dad): THINK OF YOUR FUTURE NINA!!! DON’T GO WASTE IT AWAY!!!!
Nina: YOU GUYS NEVER CARED ABOUT ME, SO I’M OUTTA HERE!!! SEE YA JERKS!!! *slams the front door shut*
(end flashback)
*Nina continues to drink when she has another flashback*
(Flashback to 1982 where 18 year-old Nina is graduating high school)
Principal: And this student deserves the Most Excellent Student Award for a number of reasons. She got the highest mark in her HSC at Arthur Phillip High School. Her fellow students should be proud of her. Nina Olivera, please come up on stage.
*Nina goes to the stage and shakes the principal’s hand before thanking everyone*
Nina: I’m so honoured that I got this award. I’ve made so many friends along the way and I hope that we’ll be friends forever.
*Outside the hall, Nina’s friends congratulate her and sign her yearbook*

On Saturday morning, Belinda and her foster kids are leaving Stacey’s apartment to move into a Housing Commission house near the Magnolia Apartments.
Stacey: I’ll miss you guys.
Belinda: We’re just two blocks down Mum. It’s not like we’re moving to Darwin.
Stacey: I know. *smiles*
Amy: Come visit when you can.
Stacey: I will Amy. *gives Amy a hug*
Larni: Bye Stacey. Thanks for taking us in.
Stacey: You are welcome Larni. *hugs her*
Taylor: How many bedrooms does this new house have Mum?
*Belinda looks shocked*
Belinda: Did you just call me Mum?
Taylor: Yes I did. You’re more of a mother to me than my real mother ever was. Hope you don’t mind.
Belinda: I don’t. *hugs Taylor* By the way, our new house has three bedrooms.
Lewis: Who’s sleeping where?
Belinda: You and Taylor are in one room, while the girls are in another.
Lewis: Cool.
Amy: Our new house is still going to look bare by the time the moving men finish.
Stacey: I’m sure the Salvos will help you guys.
Larni: At least we’ve got clothes.
Taylor: That’s true.
Belinda: Well, we better head off. Bye Mum. *hugs and kisses Stacey on the cheek*

*Belinda and the kids then get into the car (a blue Toyota Corolla sedan) and drive to their new house*
(At Nina’s holiday house, she is reading a Woman’s Day magazine when she hears the door knock.)
Nina: Coming. *goes to the door and opens it* I don’t believe it.
*Standing at the door are Nina’s estranged parents Luis and Portia*
Portia: Hello Nina. Surprised to see us?
Nina: What are you two doing here?
Luis: We had to come see you my darling. It’s been ten years since you left us.
Nina: *testily* I’m well aware of that Dad!
Portia: We’ve come to realise that we’ve failed as parents. We tried desperately to find you so that we could apologise for our mistakes.
Nina: Boy, you two made a hell of a lot of mistakes! You never went to my Year 12 graduation, you never called me on my birthday, you never sent me Christmas cards. So WHY are you now trying to make peace with me?
Portia: Do you think for one second that your father and I were agonising over you Nina Olivera? Because we’ve been hurting for ten years! TEN YEARS!!! Every birthday, every Christmas, every Easter, we would sit down and think to ourselves how much we missed you!
Nina: If you missed me so much Mother, then why did you and Dad give up finding me?
Luis: It was hard for us darling. We had no clue where you got off to. We didn’t know if you were still in the Parramatta area.
Nina: I was living in a youth hostel not far from home!
Luis: Do you think you can forgive us?
Nina: I don’t know. Right now, you might as well go back to Parramatta.
Portia: Nina darling…
Nina: You just expect me to forgive you guys *clicks her fingers* just like that?
Luis: We could try counselling.
Nina: I’ll book us an appointment with Cindy Ha.
Portia: For when?
Nina: Monday. *dials Cindy’s number*

At their new house, Belinda and the kids have settled in. But the living room, dining room and backyard still look bare.
Belinda: So, what do you think kids?
Larni: I love the house, but where are we going to sit?
Amy: That’s what I’d like to know too.
Belinda: I’m sure the Salvos will more than generously give us a lounge, TV and dining room table.
Taylor: I’m glad that we moved here Mum. *smiles*
Lewis: So am I. *smiles as well*
Belinda: Just hope the neighbours are nice.
*Suddenly, loud voices are heard from next door*
Woman: WHY DID YOU STEAL THE CAR?!?!?!?
Man: WHATEVER!!!!! I’M GOING TO THE PUB!!!
*a door slam is heard*
Larni: Gosh. Anyone would think we live in Mangrove River.
Belinda: I just hope they don’t give us trouble.
Amy: They won’t. I promise.
*Belinda hugs Amy*
(Meanwhile at the Millane’s, Kierain is in the living room when Darren walks in.)
Darren: Is something wrong mate? You’ve been quiet all day.
Kierain: Just thinking about Pippa.
Darren: Talk.
Kierain: I just can’t believe how she abandoned me while I was grieving for Adriana, how she slapped me and how she tried to take me when she got paroled.
Darren: There, there mate. At least you’ve got us, your Gran, your Nan, Bette, Lil and your foster siblings.
Kierain: NOT Sally!
Darren: Well except for Sally cause she’s a little stirrer.
*Kierain laughs*
Darren: What about Tom?
Kierain: He wouldn’t care if I dropped dead. He abandoned me as well.
Darren: You poor guy. *puts his arm around Kierain*

Later that afternoon, Jacqueline and the Roomies arrive home after holidaying in Thailand for several weeks.
Jacqueline: It’s so good to be home again.
Grace: Thailand was so much fun, but I’m glad to be home in our mansion!
David: *to Jacqueline* I’m so glad that you bought the Blaxland Mansion.
Jacqueline: So did I. That house was just too small for us.
Vanessa: I know. At least we got to say goodbye to Mary.
Reiko: That we did Vanessa.
*Adrian bursts into giggles*
Jillian: What’s so funny Adrian?
Adrian: Just thinking about that woman who went off her head at her husband.
Grace: I have to admit, that was funny!
Jillian: And right in front of our hotel room as well! *laughs*
David: What’s for dinner?
Vanessa: Can we get KFC Jackie?
Jacqueline: I’m so tired from the flight that I’m unable to cook. So, yes Vanessa. KFC for dinner it is. *smiles*
Roomies: YES!!!
(Back at the Millane’s, Kierain is sitting on the couch watching TV when Denise walks in.)
Denise: Hi love.
Kierain: *sadly* Hi.
Denise: What’s wrong?
*Kierain starts to cry*
Denise: Tell me what’s wrong love. *goes over to Kierain and hugs him*
Kierain: I just wish people would understand what I’m going through.
*Denise hugs him tighter*
Denise: Shush darling. It will all be okay. *rocks Kierain*

At 10:30 the next morning (Sunday), a moving van pulls over at Jacqueline and the Roomies’ old house. A new family is moving in.
*A red Ford Festiva pulls into the driveway. Robert Lucas, his wife Sue and their 16 year-old daughter Charmaine get out of the car.*
Sue: Here we are. Summer Bay.
Charmaine: This place is such a bore.
Robert: Now Charmaine. I’m sure you’ll like it.
Sue: You’ll get to make new friends at your new high school. *smiles*
Charmaine: Why did we have to leave Adelaide? It’s been my home since I was born.
Robert: Because your mother got a teaching job at the local primary school. That’s why we had to move.
Charmaine: I’m sure I’ll have fun. Not.
Sue: Stop being so stroppy Charmaine. At least give Summer Bay a chance.
Charmaine: Fine. Let’s just go inside. *storms into the house*
Robert: Why is our daughter so stubborn Sue?
Sue: She takes after you.
Robert: I’m not stubborn!
Sue: Oh Robert. *smiles*
*Robert and Sue go inside their new house.*
(At the Fletcher’s, Lynn is drinking a carton of strawberry milk when Rhonda comes downstairs.)
Rhonda: Morning Lynn.
Lynn: Good morning Rhonda. You’re up awfully late this morning.
Rhonda: It’s Sunday. You get to sleep in on the weekends.
Lynn: True. Hey listen, about the money…
Rhonda: What about it?
*Lynn hands Rhonda the exact amount of money she stole*
Rhonda: $75 dollars. That’s the right amount.
Lynn: I’m sorry I stole your money. I should’ve asked first.
Rhonda: I accept your apology. *gives Lynn a hug*
*Garry comes downstairs*
Garry: Anyone seen Kellie?
Lynn: She went to Leanne’s. Why do you ask?
Garry: I was going to ask her if she wanted to come to the surf club.
Lynn: Get Steven or Samuelu to take you.
Garry: Steven’s still in bed and Sami’s probably with Nina.
Rhonda: I hear Miss Nina Olivera and our foster brother are quite the item.
Garry: They’ve been trying to keep their relationship a secret so the gossips don’t find out and start wagging their tongues.
Lynn: Like Celia and her equally nosy friend Doris Peters.
*Clarissa enters the house*
Clarissa: Well, that was a walk for nothing.
Rhonda: Problem Clarissa?
Clarissa: I went over to Stacey Macklin’s apartment to see Amy. It turns out they moved to a house on Magnolia Street.
Rhonda: Poor Larni.
Clarissa: Why?
Rhonda: Cause that’s where the Housing Commission houses are.
Clarissa: Hey! I lived in Housing back in Erinsborough.
Rhonda: No offence Clarissa.
Clarissa: It’s all good. The house was a disgrace anyway.
Rhonda: I’ll take you around there later this afternoon if you want.
Clarissa: Thanks.
Lynn: Can I come too?
Rhonda: Sure.
*Clarissa and Lynn smile*

At the Millane’s, Kierain is bonding with Sean as Darren has gone to the supermarket with Denise.
Sean: How are things going mate?
Kierain: Lousy Sean.
Sean: There, there mate. You know I’ll always be there for you. Same goes for Mum and Darren.
Kierain: Thanks. *smiles*
Sean: Have you had any lunch?
Kierain: No, I haven’t.
Sean: What would you like?
Kierain: I’m not sure.
Sean: How about bangers and mash?
Kierain: Do we have any sausages left?
Sean: Yes we do.
Kierain: Then I’ll have some bangers and mash. *smiles*
*Sean goes into the kitchen to cook Kierain’s lunch*
(Back at the Lucas’s House, Charmaine is continuing to complain.)
Charmaine: My new bedroom is too small! Where am I supposed to put my stuff?
Sue: Charmaine! Unpacking the boxes in your new bedroom is your responsibility!
Charmaine: Nothing like our old house back in Adelaide.
Sue: Robert?
Robert: Yes dear? *sees that Sue is about to lose her patience with Charmaine*
Sue: Can you KINDLY help Charmaine unpack the boxes in her bedroom please?
Robert: Okay. Charmaine?
Charmaine: Fine. Let’s unpack. *storms into her new bedroom followed by Robert*
*Sue sighs*
Robert: What’s gotten into you Charmaine?
Charmaine: I’m not happy here Dad. I just want to go back to Adelaide.
Robert: We’ve barely been here an hour and you’re already turning on the sooky behaviour. You are 16 years-old Charmaine, not 6!
*Charmaine rolls her eyes*
Robert: Rolling your eyes isn’t going to help the situation. You are just going to have to get used to living in Summer Bay. *walks out of the room*
*Charmaine just stands there and sulks*

That afternoon, Nina and Samuelu are walking on the beach holding hands.
Samuelu: So, how did it go with your parents? Did you forgive them?
Nina: Let’s just say it’s in-progress babe. We’re going to see Cindy Ha tomorrow.
Samuelu: Who’s that?
Nina: She’s a counsellor over in Yabbie Creek. I booked the appointment for 2 o’clock.
Samuelu: Are you sure it’ll work?
Nina: I’m prepared for anything Sami. *pulls Samuelu into a hug before they kiss*
*Doris Peters sees this as she’s walking to the beach*
Doris: Ghastly! *rushes over to the nearby phone box to call Celia* Hello Celia. It’s Doris. You will NOT believe what I just saw!
Celia: *over the phone* What did you see Doris dear?
Doris: I saw one of those Fletcher kids passionately kissing that woman who hosts The X-Factor!
Celia: *over the phone* Nina Olivera? Which Fletcher was it?
Doris: The Samoan one.
Celia: *over the phone* I’ll spread the word. Goodbye dear.
*Doris hangs up the phone*
(At the Diner, Judith and some of the others are waiting for Bernadette to come. She has something important to tell them.)
*Judith, Katerina, Fliss, the Macklin and Fletcher foster siblings, Tiago and Alice, Viv, Leanne, Anahera Brown, Karen Fischer, Tracey Bright, Jacqueline and the Roomies, June, Brendan and Lee are sitting in separate booths*
Viv: I wonder what the important news is.
Judith: It must be important cause Dette wouldn’t tell me over the phone. And she’s one of my best friends.
Jacqueline: I’m sure she’ll be here soon.
*Samuelu and Nina arrive*
Samuelu: What does Dette want?
Lee: She hasn’t arrived yet man.
Fliss: Hey foster brother.
Samuelu: Hey foster sister.
*they smile*
Nina: Where can we sit?
Leanne: Try and squeeze into a booth.
*Samuelu and Nina sit into a booth as Bernadette arrives*
Bernadette: Hello my dearest friends.
Everyone: Hey.
June: What did you want to tell us Bernadette?
Tiago: We’re dying to know girl.
Alice: Cool your jets bro. *smiles*
Bernadette: The reason why I called you all to the Diner was because I’m going to tell you something very important. I’ve decided to live on my own.
Judith: That’s great news. Have you found a place to live though?
Bernadette: Yes I have. I’m renting a two bedroom apartment and I move in next Saturday.
Amy: Are you still living in the Bay?
Bernadette: This is the hard part. My new apartment is in the city.
*Everyone looks sad*
Reiko: Come on everyone. Let’s not be sad. We can still visit her.
Everyone: True.
Bernadette: I just want you to know that just because I’m moving to the city doesn’t change the friendship I have with you guys. We are still going to be friends. *wipes away a tear*
Judith: I’ve already lost Melissa and Mary. Now, I’m going to lose you.
Bernadette: What about Alison Patterson? She was like your best friend.
Judith: Yeah I miss her too. *smiles*

Charmaine: The name's Charmaine. Charmaine Lucas. I'm in Year 11. You are?
Viv: Viv Newton. Year 11.
Charmaine: Where are you from originally?
Viv: The city. You?
Charmaine: I come from Morphett Vale. It's a suburb in Adelaide. *smiles*
*Leanne goes over to them*
Leanne: Hey everyone.
Charmaine: Oh hi. *to Viv* Who's this chick?
Leanne: I’m Leanne Morgan.
Charmaine: Charmaine Lucas. Nice meeting you Leanne. You in Year 11 too?
Leanne: Yeah.
Viv: I seen Mrs Wood this morning. She's wearing the blue dress again.
Charmaine: Who's Mrs Wood?
Viv: This really thick Maths teacher.
Charmaine: What's with her dress Leanne?
Leanne: I don’t know. It must be a security thing.
Charmaine: *sees Kerry coming* Is that her?
Leanne: Yeah. Look busy.
Charmaine: *sarcastically* My what a lovely dress you've got on today.

*As Kerry walks off, the girls wet themselves laughing*

At the Blaxland Mansion, Jacqueline and the Roomies are talking about planning a farewell party for Bernadette.
David: Who should we invite?
Jacqueline: All of Bernadette's friends. Speaking of the party, we're going to have it here in the mansion.
Reiko: We should film it for the show.
Vanessa: I don't think that it's a good idea for us to be filming the party for your talk show Reiko.
*Adrian bursts into giggles*
Reiko: Why are you laughing?
Adrian: I was just picturing Susan Winstrate falling into a pit of mud.
*Reiko laughs as Grace comes in with the invite list*
Grace: Who's Alison Patterson?
Vanessa: I dunno? Guys?
Jacqueline: She's one of Bernadette's high school friends.
Jillian: What are we going to do about food Jackie?
Jacqueline: Have it catered by the Diner.

Grace: Should we hire a DJ? Mary had one for her farewell party last month.
Reiko: No! I want that guy! You know the guy who sings about cruel friends?
David: Why not do both?
Jacqueline: All in favour of having the DJ and Kierain Geaney perform?
Reiko: But guys, some bands get really upset if you cut them short. Don't you remember Billie Joe Armstrong losing it when I cut him off for Usher?
Vanessa: It wasn't that bad Reiko.
Jacqueline: Then I'LL decide! We are having Kierain and the DJ! Now, I've been thinking about it for the last few weeks but I reckon it's time we hired a maid. What do you think Adrian?

Jillian: Having a maid sounds wonderful!
Reiko: We need a new roommate.
David: Let’s do it.
(A little later, Reiko arrives at the Millane house to talk to Kierain.)
Kierain: Whoa, whoa hold on! 20 minutes? I have a number 1 single and you're only giving me 20 MINUTES?! You gotta be bloody joking!
Reiko: You say that like it's a bad thing.
Kierain *now angry*: 20 BLOODY MINUTES!!! YOU'RE GIVING ME ONLY 20 MINUTES?! I CAN'T BELEIVE THIS! I'M NOT BLOODY JUSTIN BEIBER! *Kierain gets up* 20 minutes! God bless you all!
*Bette who was visiting looks at Reiko*
Bette: With me! Now!
*Reiko just walks out of the house looking hurt*

At the Diner, Robert and Sue are talking to Dharma and Greg.
Sue: Love the accent you two.
Robert: What accent is that?
Sue: Dharma and Greg’s American accent.
Robert: Oh. *to Dharma* Any children?
Dharma: Expecting.
Greg: Have you two got any children?
Robert: One daughter, 16.
Dharma: That's the same age as my half-sister. What's your daughter's name Sue?
Sue: Charmaine.
Dharma: I'm sure she's a LOVELY girl! *smiles*
Robert: What's your half-sister's name?
Dharma: Aviva.
Sue: Nice.
Greg: What brings you and Sue to the Bay?
Robert: Sue has a job at the primary school.
Dharma/Greg: Interesting. *they smile*
(At Summer Bay High, Charmaine is in Miss Nelson's Year 11 English class. She has settled in nicely.)
Charmaine: *to Samuelu* Did anyone ever tell you that you're cute?
Samuelu: Thanks but I’m spoken for.
Charmaine: *to Anna Stevenson* What does he mean?
Anna: He has a girlfriend.
Charmaine: I see. *to Karen Fischer* What do you think of that guy in the black college jacket? *points to Tiago*
Karen: He has one too.
Charmaine: Personality wise I meant.
Karen: He’s nice.
Leanne: Hey Charmaine! Do you smoke?
Charmaine: No.
Leanne: Oh okay. So, what's Adelaide like?
Charmaine: It was great. I was so popular.
Viv: You'll be popular here too. Trust me. *smiles*
*When class is dismissed, Rhonda goes over to Heather, Leanne, Viv and Charmaine*

Heather/Leanne/Viv: Hey.

Rhonda: I'm Rhonda Sheridan. You are?
Charmaine: Charmaine Lucas. What year are you in?
Rhonda: Year 12.

(Meanwhile, Julia is sitting in her car as Kierain comes past.)
Julia: Hello Geaney.
*Julia grabs him*
Kierain: What do you want PM?
*Julia opens her car door*
Julia: I want your help to get the NBN through parliament.
Kierain: How?
Julia: Woo them with a performance.
Kierain: Uhh, PM?
