The next day (Sunday), Nina arrives at the Wong’s house where she, Mary and Fliss talk about the upcoming Summer Bay river cruise.
Nina: I hear you guys want to sing at the river cruise.
Mary: Yes.
Fliss: That’s right.
Nina: One of the bands on my record label, Brown Sugar will be performing at the river cruise.
Mary: That’s great.
Nina: Have you bought their latest single “One Pacific Nation”?
Mary: I got it for Christmas.
Fliss: I bought it months ago when it first came out.
Nina: Good. *smiles*
Mary: So are we going to sing alongside Brown Sugar?
Nina: Yes you are!
Fliss: Awesome!
*Mary and Fliss hug*
(Meanwhile, Kierain at his house crying)
Coral D: What’s wrong love?
Kierain: TOM just disowned me!
Coral K: WHAT?!?

*Leah walks in*

*Kierain explains everything to Leah*

At the Fletcher‘s, Leah more or less goes off her head at Tom for what he did to Kierain.
Leah: HOW DARE YOU DISOWN YOUR OWN FOSTER SON?!?
Tom: WELL HE NEVER VISITS!!!
Leah: BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!
Tom: YEAH SURE LEAH!!! WHATEVER YOU SAY!!!
Leah: I JUST FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE POOR KIDS AND LIL!!!
*Lil comes downstairs*
Lil: Can someone tell me what’s happening?

*Leah explains everything to Lil*

*A waiter goes over to them*

Waiter: Sorry for the delay. The kitchen has been overflowed with the cooking.

Leah: THEN FIX IT!!!
*The waiter goes back into the kitchen and brings out the drinks when he trips over and all the drinks splash on Leah!*

Leah: YOU CLUMSY IDIOT!!!!! *clonks the waiter on his head with her fist*

*Darren laughs*

Leah: AND YOU DON’T LAUGH!!! *storms off*

Darren: Leah wait!

(Meanwhile, Coral is hosting a seminar on disabled people and uses Kierain as an example)

Coral D: My grandson Kierain was abandoned by his foster father all because of his poor pathetic excuse of an ex-wife Pippa!

The next day (Monday), Mary and Fliss are practicing their song that they are singing on this Saturday‘s river cruise.

Darren: I’m sorry I laughed at you on our date.

Leah: It’s okay. I overreacted. Will you give me another chance?

Leah: Sure.

(Meanwhile, Amy is at the diner spreading vicious rumours about Sharni)

The next day (Tuesday), a family is moving into a house not too far from the caravan park. They are the Goncalves Family, consisting of dad Rafael, mum Julia and their teenage twins named Tiago (boy) and Alice (girl) .

Tiago: Neat place.

Alice: Is this our new home? I’m going to like it here.

Julia: I’m glad you like it kids. I just can’t believe that you’ll be in Year 11 this year.

Tiago: Oh Mum.

Rafael: Are you sure there are any Brazilian families in this town dear?

Julia: I hope so. We came here to get away from Sydney to due its population, bus service and crime.

Alice: At least we’ll have our own rooms.

Rafael: You’ve always had your own bedrooms.

Rafael: I’m sure they will son.

Julia: School starts in two weeks anyway.

(Meanwhile at the Wong‘s house, Mary and Fliss have just finished practicing their singing for Saturday’s river cruise when Rhonda walks in)

Mary: We’ve finished practicing.

Fliss: Yeah. Time for a Pepsi break. *walks into the kitchen*

That afternoon, Angie visits Kierain at Coral D‘s place.

So, when I heard that I supposedly died during a brawl, I was crushed to learn that it was Leah who was brutally murdered by Pippa.

*Kierain storms into his bedroom without a word*

On Saturday night, every teen in Summer Bay (minus Amy and Ophelia) gets ready to go to the river cruise.

Judith: It’s a shame Melissa couldn’t come to this. She would’ve enjoyed it.

Leanne: I agree with you there.

Judith: I’m just waiting for a letter from her.

Leanne: I’m sure you’ll get one.

Judith: I hope so.

(At the Goncalves house, Tiago and Alice are getting ready)

Alice: I hope that bitch Amy doesn’t show up.

Tiago: She’s not. She’s grounded.

Alice: Thank goodness. I think this cruise is such a great way to meet new friends before school starts.

Tiago: I hear we’re getting the whole of hood city tonight.

Alice: I just need to know what time the river cruise ends.

Tiago: It’s supposed to finish at 2 in the morning.

Alice: That late?!? We’ve got to see Aunty Isobel tomorrow.

At 7:30pm, the river cruise is going into full swing. Teens from the city, Yabbie Creek, Reefton Lakes, Westside and surrounding suburbs are in attendance.

Larni: So, I wonder why the Mangrove River losers aren’t attending this cruise.

Cheryl: I’m studying to become a primary school teacher.

Karen J: I’m studying for my Bachelor of Arts.

Sienna: And I’ll be doing my Certificate I in Information Technology.

Garry/Kellie: AWESOME!!!!

At 10:00pm, Nina addresses the crowd and introduces Brown Sugar.

Nina: Let’s hear it for Brown Sugar and their back-up singers for tonight Mary Wong, Rhonda Sheridan and Felicity Sidebotham.
