At the hospital, Vanessa is being treated for her injuries as Jacqueline waits for the doctor.

Jacqueline: How is she doc?

Doctor: Vanessa is very lucky that she only suffered 1st degree burns. It could’ve been a lot worse.

Jacqueline: How long will be she in hospital for?

Doctor: Until Monday. We’ve got to keep her here to treat the burns she suffered. How did she do it?

Jacqueline: She accidentally dropped water on herself as she was cooking the dinner.

Doctor: Would you like a glass of water?

Jacqueline: Yes please.

*Jacqueline sits down as the doctor goes to get her water*

(At the Fletcher’s house, Lil is cleaning the table when the phone rings. She goes over and answers it)

Lil: Summer Bay Caravan Park? Oh hi Lisa. Is this about your visit to Rhonda over Christmas? I’ll just get her for you now. RHONDA!!! PHONE!!!

*Rhonda takes the phone*

*Heather is reading a magazine on her bed when Rhonda jumps onto her bed and cries her head off*

Heather: What’s wrong sister?

The next day (Saturday), Kierain is visiting Dawn when he sees Larni come out of Belinda and Stacey’s apartment.

Natalie Forrest: Police today arrested Phillipa Louise Fletcher outside Yabbie Creek. The 31 year-old was tipped off by police after she tried to abduct an 18 year-old man. She’s been charged with assault, attempted kidnapping and violating her parole. She’s been sent to Blackmoor Detention Centre to await trial.

The next day (Tuesday), Karen Fischer arrives at the Fletchers to see Bridget.

At the beach house, Leanne is talking to Mary and Melissa about her past.

Leanne: You guys. I’m going to tell you everything.

Mary: Okay Leanne. Spill.

Leanne: Before I moved here, I was abused by my Pop.

Melissa: Abused how?

Leanne: Sexually. It happened since I was 12.

*Mary and Melissa gasp*

Mary: Is this why you’re hot tempered?

Leanne: I’ve always been like that, but that’s why I ended things with Steven. I was just not ready to do it yet.

Melissa: But how about your Pop? Did he get charged or what?

Leanne: He’s in jail. That’s why I came here to live with Alf and Ailsa.

The next day (Thursday), Kierain is swimming at the beach when he gets caught in a rip.

Kierain: HELP!!! *throws his hands in the air to catch the lifeguards attention, but since the lifeguards are off duty it‘s hopeless*

*Celia sees this*

Celia: I’M COMING KIERAIN!!! *dives into the water and swims over to where Kierain is who is nearly passed out*

Celia: *to herself* Come on Kierain. Please be alive.

*Celia drags Kierain out of the water and performs CPR on him*

*Kierain coughs out water*

Celia: You okay love?

Kierain: I thought I was going to die. *starts to cry*

(At the Fletcher’s, Tom is putting up the Christmas decorations when he thinks about Pippa)

Pippa: *V/O* Oh Tom. I just love how Kierain’s in his Santa suit.

Tom: *V/O* Yeah. He’s adorable.

*Lil enters the room and sees Tom dazed*

Lil: Tom? Thomas?

Tom: Uh what? Oh sorry Lillian. I got distracted.

Lil: It’s okay. I was just wondering if you were going over to Alf and Ailsa’s Christmas concert.

Tom: When is it?

Lil: Tonight.

Tom: Oh I’ll be there.

*Lil smiles and then walks off*

Tom: This will be a great Christmas. *tears up all the photos of him and Pippa together*
