*Bea sits down and starts channel flicking the TV when Meg and Jim walk in*

Myra: What if Kierain turns rebel like when his Auntie died?

*Inside, Helen approaches Kierain. She's received some bad news from Myra.*

Helen: That was Myra. Bea's in hospital and is critical.

Kierain: What happened?

Helen: Pippa stabbed her.

Kierain: I see.

Scott: Gran can I see you in the kitchen?

*Helen follows Scott in the kitchen*

Helen: What is it darling?

Scott: Let Kierain stay a couple nights please? It's 2 bus rides away where he is.

Helen: I was just thinking the same thing. He can stay. *smiles*

The next day, Maggie is helping Tom at the caravan park.

Maggie: Are you okay dear? *notices Tom is distracted*

Tom: I need some help with the lunch.

Maggie: You seem what’s her name?

Maggie: No.

Tom: Oh it's just Bea got arrested and now stabbed and everyone's waiting for Kierain to rebel like he did after Adriana died.

Maggie: Poor lady. How are the kids taking it?

(In Geri and Kellie's bedroom, all the foster kids are crying)

Kierain: I’m really into music and TV shows like Heartbreak High. In fact, I stood outside JB Hi Fi for a whole night when No Doubt's last album came out.

Kierain: I did have loads of AFL football cards but my brat sister sold them on eBay!

*Kierain storms off. Helen goes after him while Jim goes off the deep end*

Jim: JULIE MARIE ROBINSON!!!! IN THE KITCHEN! NOW!

*Julie goes into the kitchen*

*In the diner Kellie is sitting having a milkshake when Adam and Mary walk in*

The person who has taken Samuelu drags him into an abandoned building before throwing him onto the ground.

*The person is none other than Vicki Baxter*

Vicki: SHUT UP!!! YOU ARE MINE UNTIL THOSE LOUSY FLETCHERS GIVE ME WHAT I DESERVE!

(At Summer Bay Private Hospital, Bea is making a slow recovery)

Doreen: How is she Doc?

Dr Simon: She’s recovering slowly.

Myra: How long will it be until she recovers?

Dr Simon: We’re not sure yet. But she’s suffered extensive brain injuries and a ruptured spleen.

*Doreen hugs Myra*

Myra: Thanks doctor. Much appreciated

*Dr Simon walks out of the room*

At Wentworth, Pippa is in the governor’s office over her assault on Bea.

*Pippa sits down*

Erica: It has been brought to my attention that you stabbed Bea with a kitchen knife and ruptured her spleen. Is that correct?

Pippa: Maybe.

Erica: And you also smashed her skull in with a wooden horse causing extensive brain injuries.

Pippa: So what? She’s been out to get me ever since she came back to this dump!

Erica: THAT’S ENOUGH!!! NOW, I’M TELLING YOU THIS FLETCHER! IF BEA DOESN’T PULL THROUGH, NOT ONLY WILL YOU BE STAYING IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT FOR SIX WEEKS, BUT I WILL BE TRANSFERRING YOU TO BLACKMOOR!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!?

Pippa: Yes LOVE!

Erica: Don’t be impertinent with me! As of right now, you are going to solitary. Would you take Fletcher to solitary please Miss Dean?

At the Robinson‘s, Kierain is watching TV when Helen walks in.

Helen: I take it things aren’t well.

Kierain: No they aren’t.

Helen: What’s the matter possum?

Helen: Oh love. Is she okay?

Kierain: *crying* No! I just found out that she’s permanently brain damaged as a result of Pippa’s attack on her.

Julie is being arrested over her attack on Kierain.

(At Bea's house, the ladies are talking about their day when the phone rings)
Martha: Ello?
Dr Simon: Hello Martha. I've got some rather bad news about Bea.
Martha: Speak.
Dr Simon: The injuries to her brain have caused her to be on life support. She's not expected to live, but we'll do everything we can to help her.
*Martha drops the phone to the ground and sobs*
Doreen: Mart?
Martha: SHE'S GONNA DIE DOR! SHE'S GONNA DIE!
Myra: What did Dr Simon say?
*Martha explains everything to the women*
Pamela: Poor Kierain is going to be devastated.

*Helen and Beverly enter the house*

(At Bea’s place, the ladies are crying over Bea)

*the phone rings*

Lil: I overheard Reynolds talking to Myra on the phone.

Marie: Was she talkin to Desmond about it was she?

Lil: Yes. It’s bad enough what that poor kid had to go through.

(At the hospital, Kierain wakes up to find Bev sitting at his bedside)

That night, Myra and the ladies are in Martha‘s Holden Nova going to the hospital to see Kierain.

*Suddenly, one of the front tyres hits a pothole and the car swerves*

Home and Away Episode #235: Von Ryan (Part 1)

The next morning, Lil is moving into the caravan park.

Lil: Pretty neat place here.

*Tom enters the caravan*

Tom: Are you Lillian Stokes?

Lil: That’s me.

Tom: Tom Fletcher, owner of the Summer Bay Caravan Park.

Lil: Aye, are you Pippa’s hubby?

Tom: Not for much longer.

Lil: Do ya know a Kierain Geaney?

Tom: Yes. He used to live with me and Pip.

Lil: I know him through Bea. I suppose you heard what happened to her.

Tom: Yes. The kids are taking it pretty hard.

Lil: Who are ya foster kids?

Tom: The girls are Sally, Carly, Bobby, Fliss, Lyndz, Kellie, Rhonda, Geri and Heather. As for the boys, there are Frank, Steven, Kierain, Samuelu, Garry and we’ll be getting another one tomorrow named Jordan.

Lil: How do you fit them all in the one house?

Tom: We’ve renovated this house so many times, it’s a wonder we haven’t received a bill. *laughs*

Lil: Great.

Tom: Would you like to come in for a cuppa?

Lil: I would love that. *goes inside the house with Tom*

(Meanwhile, Mouse is moving in with “Myra’s Angels”)

Mouse: Hi ladies. Which room is mine?

Myra: Second door on the right.

Mouse: Coolness! Oh and I’m sorry to hear about Pamela.

Judy: It’s okay love.

Mouse: Where’s that poor baby kid of hers now?

Doreen: We’ve decided to give it Alex to his father.

Mouse: Is that wise?

Judy: Well, he and Pamela did part on amicable terms. And he’s a very nice man.

Martha: Not like dat Alf Stewart! *mocking Alf* YA FLAMIN DRONGO!!

*The ladies laugh*

Myra: Come on girls. We don’t want to be late to see Kierain.

Mouse: Who’s he?

Martha: You’ll meet him later. You settle in. *smiles*

*The ladies leave the house*

Mouse: Better make the most of it. *smiles*

At the hospital, Kierain is watching Oprah when a Southern Cross News update airs.

V/O: Now your local Southern Cross News.

Fiona Nelson: Good afternoon, I’m Fiona Nelson. There’s been another fatal accident on Yabbie Creek roads with a 25 year-old woman killed when the car she was a passenger in crashed into a tree at about 7:30 last night. She’s been identified as Pamela Richardson of Reefton Lakes. In a tragic twist, she was the mother of a 3 month old son. The driver of the car won’t be charged.

*Kierain breaks down crying as the ladies walk in*

Martha: Kezzie! *runs over and hugs him*

Kierain: Why did it have to be Pamela?!?

Myra: I don’t know love. I just don’t know. *cries*

Judy: IT WAS MARTHA’S FAULT!!!

Doreen: Come on Jude! Don’t be like that. It was an accident.

Martha: I said I’m sorry. *runs out of the room crying*

Judy: Damn!

Myra: Go after her Dor.

*Doreen walks out to find Martha*

Myra: I’m sorry about this Kierain. *hugs him*

Kierain: Don’t worry. It’s all good. *tears up*

(Once home, Martha packs two suitcases and waits for a bus to take her to Canberra)

Martha: *crying* Oh, I’m so sorry Pamela.

*The bus pulls up*

Bus driver: Where you off to miss?

Martha: Canberra. *sniffs* I’m off ta see my Mama!

*Martha finds a seat up the back row and looks out the window with tears streaming down her face*

Later that day, Kierain is crying his eyes out when Von Ryan sits next to him.

Von: You all right poppet?

Kierain: No.

Von: Tell me what’s wrong?

Kierain: Everything. First Adriana dying, then Bea dying, now Pamela dying and now JUDY being mean to Martha! *sobs*

*Von hugs him tight*

Von: You must have a lot of problems going on. I’ll tell you what? When you get out of hospital, Dawn Schafer has requested that you live with her.

Kierain: Oh cool. I like Dawn. She’s a very nice girl for a 21 year-old.

Von: I see. *smiles* Well, I better be off. Pam Willis will be in during the night.

*Kierain smiles at that*

(At Dawn’s place, she is preparing the spare room for Kierain)

Dawn: Oh Kierain. I just know that I’m going to give you all the attention you need. *smiles*

That night, Myra and the other ladies ignore Judy.

Judy: Would you like a hand with the dinner Dor?

Doreen: You hear something ladies?

Myra: No.

Mouse: Not a thing.

Doreen: I’m really excited about Kathy Hall coming tomorrow.

Myra: Me too. I’m sure she’ll get along with Kierain.

Judy: The dinner is about to go cold.

Myra: SHUT UP JUDY! IT’S BAD ENOUGH MARTHA LEFT TOWN BECAUSE OF YOU!!!

Judy: SHE DID IT TO HERSELF FOR KILLING PAMELA!!!

*Myra slaps Judy as Kierain walks in*

Myra: You are lucky you are still living here Judy!

Kierain: JUST STOP FIGHTING ALL OF YOU!!! I’M SICK TO DEATH OF EVERY SINGLE PERSON I SEE FIGHT OVER SOMETHING BLOODY STUPID!!! JUST GROW THE HELL UP!!! *storms upstairs*

Judy: WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING SONNY JIM…

*Myra slaps Judy again*

Myra: NEVER speak to Kierain like that again you bitch!!!

*Judy storms out of the house*

Doreen: You want me to check up on him Myra?

Myra: No Dor. He needs his space right now. You can go up later though.

*Doreen hugs Myra*

(At Von Ryan’s house, she and her six children (four boys and two girls) are having dinner together when 12 year-old Billy clutches his stomach.)

Billy: Mum?

Von: What is it?

Billy: My tummy is hurting again.

Von: Oh god it looks serious. *to 15 year-old Marsha* Phone for an ambulance Marsha.

Marsha: Got it. *runs to the phone and dials 000*

Von: I’ll ring your father Billy. Just keep calm.

*A few minutes later, the ambulance arrives*

Von: Please be okay Billy. Please be okay.

*The ambulance drives off as Von collapses in tears*

Marsha: It’s going to be fine Mum. *hugs Von*

The next day, Mary and Melissa are in the city for the day as Adam is heading back home.

Melissa: So what’s Adam’s last name again?

Mary: Truong.

Melissa: Where did you find such a sweet guy like that?

Mary: My old high school. *smiles*

Melissa: I SO want a smoothie!

Mary: Then get one Melissa.

*The girls stop at BOOST where they order some smoothies*

Mary: Thank god for that. I was dying a thirst.

Melissa: I love banana and berry smoothies. They are so delicious.

Mary: My favourite is wild berry. *sips her smoothie*

Melissa: I’m moving in January.

Mary: To where?

Melissa: Armidale. I’m going to be living with my cousin.

Mary: That’s out in the bush isn’t it?

Melissa: I wouldn’t call it a bush but it’s near Tamworth.

Mary: Oh okay. *laughs*

*The girls raise their bottles*

Melissa/Mary: To a great friendship.

(At the Fletcher’s, Jordan Zarka arrives as the latest foster kid to arrive)

Bamato Dohnal: This is Jordan Zarka.

Jordan: Hey everyone.

Tom: The kids aren’t home yet so I’ll introduce you to Lil Stokes.

Lil: Hi darling. It’s nice to meet you.

Jordan: Likewise. *smiles*

Bamato: I’ll be off then. *leaves the house*

Lil: So, where are ya from Jordan?

Jordan: Bankstown area. So, where am I sleeping?

Tom: You’ll be sharing a room with Samuelu and Garry.

Jordan: Sweet!

Meanwhile at the beach, Samuelu is hanging out with Karen Fischer.

Samuelu: I just want to be happy.

Karen: Depression isn’t a good thing man.

Samuelu: Did they catch Baxter?

Karen: They did. Last I heard she was being shipped off to Winlaton.

Samuelu: Hope she stays there.

*Karen leans over towards Samuelu and kisses him*

Samuelu: *smiles* What was that for?

Karen: For being really nice to me. *smiles back*

Samuelu: Oh thanks.

*Samuelu and Karen kiss again*

(At Myra’s place, Judy is having a go at Kierain)

Judy: Will ya just drop the attitude?!?

Kierain: MAKE ME!!!

Judy: OH I’LL MAKE YOU IN A MINUTE…*goes to hit Kierain with a broom but is stopped by Myra*

Myra: YOU EVER TRY HITTING KIERAIN WITH A BROOM AGAIN LADY AND YOU ARE OUT!!

*Judy hits Myra with the broom*

Myra: That does it. GET OUT!

*Judy gives Myra a filthy look*

Von: well?

Luke: it was his appendix

Von: dear god!

Luke: we got it in time but he’ll have to take it easy

*goes off to Billy’s room*

*at Myra’s Judy is gone and Kierain is in his room*

Kierain: time for some Green Day

He turns on the CD and “American Idiot” plays

*Kathy Hall arrives at the house*

Kathy: Hello? Anyone home?

*Kierain comes down*

Kierain: My god KATHY *Hugs her*

Kathy: well hello I didn’t know you lived here *strokes his hair*

Kierain: Kath I’m glad you’re here so far all people seem to be fighting or dying

Kathy: oh lovey….

*Kathy looks thoughtful*

*over at the Fletcher place Tom and Lil are talking*

Lil: ya joking Kez got NO attention after Adriana passed?? Bloody Pippa!

*Tom nods*

Tom: I’m just glad his mates were there

Lil: even if we are crims aye?

*Tom blushes*

Tom: Lil I was wondering if….

Lil: yes?

Tom: will you go out with me?

Lil: boy you’re fast!

Tom: will you?

Lil: sure why not

*Tom smiles*

*upstairs Heather is breathing fast*

Carly: Heather?

Heather: can’t breathe!

Bobby: calm down mate just relax *gives her a brown bag to breathe in*

Carly: that’s it nice and slow

Bobby: easy does it

Carly: better?

Heather: thanks you guys

Bobby: anytime *smiles*

*at the beach Kellie is poking fun at Karen and Samuelu*

Kellie: get a bloody room!

Samuelu: BUZZ OFF

Kellie: LIKE YOU CAN MAKE ME!

*Leanne runs over and drags Kellie to the water*

Leanne: ARE YOU GONNA LEAVE MY MATES ALONE?!

Kellie: NO!!!!

*Leanne dunks her again*

Leanne: WRONG ANSWER BITCH!

Kellie: YES!

Leanne: RIGHT AND IF YOU DON’T YOU’RE DEAD! *Walks off*

*At Myra’s meanwhile*

Kathy: guys I wanna stay with Kierain during the day he needs a mum figure

Myra: yeah I agree he’s a bit lonely while we work

Kathy: settled *smiles*
