Melody was underrated, big time. I thought she was fantastic, both the character and actress, but a lot of people didn't like her.

Martha is hugely overrated. I have no idea why the producers keep her in the show. I can only guess that they want someone young who is related to Alf there.

Yeah I agree. I liked Melody they were make her regular she wanted leave for uni and you're right that's why I think they keep Martha - because she's Alf's grandchild.

I guess it depends in what terms were talking in. If it had been this time last year I would have said Tony was actually a totally underrated character, he was never used for anything except background scenes. And in some ways he's still underrated as well as Rachel, if were thinking about promotional material, interviews done and coverage on places like the OS, they're hardly ever used. Leah and Irene however are the two main ones who I think are totally underrated, they have such talent yet they're hardly ever used on the show. Colleen in some ways is to because she's a brilliant dramatic actress but is 99.9% time used as the village idiot and the comical character.

Overrated - Charlie is definetely at the top of my list. I think she's a pretty mundane actress; her emotional scenes make me cringe as I'm never sure whether she's laughing or crying. I also agree with Martha, she gets so much attention constantly and whilst sometimes she shows talent I do get bored of watching her dramas.
