Collecting Home and Away episodes

Hi there,

I just thought I'd start a thread in relation to collecting Home and Away episodes. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has archived the episodes since the beginning, and have put them onto DVD? I'm only a recent viewer of Home and Away, well,I say that but; I was only borin in 1990 and grew up watching the show, and can vividly remember the iconic characters from the nineties from my childhood, i.e. Irene, Alf, Ailsa, Don, Marilyn, Selina, Pippa and Sally. But after the show moved to Five I didn't watch it anymore until about 2006, and have watched it religiously ever since then. I'm not too bothered about the 2000-06 episodes that I didn't watch, especially because I'll probably be able to watch these episodes when Fiver no doubt continue their backlog of eps from when they finished re-airing them, but I'm almost certain no channel is ever going to repeat the classic eps (88-00) ever again, so if anyone has any of these eps on DVD (particularly key Morag episodes) I'd love to get a copy of them, and would be willing to pay for a copy.

I don't think anyone's got every single episode, at least not that I've heard of yet, but I also believe that there's some pretty sturdy collections out there - though like you, I'm always trying to increase my collection. I think last year I worked out that in various formats I had about 55% of all episodes on various formats. I think my total is about 2600 episodes now.

Do you have any of Morag's era in 1988-89. I'd love to get a copy of them!

I've got every single episode since the 2006 premier but apart from that I've got a few early 00 ones and also 03 and 05.

Unfortunately not. Every episode I have pre the Five era is are computer files, downloaded from other sites.
