UK only

Dex and Annie were an alright couple..

Yep UK only. To avoid any spoilers. But you've already given us a spoiler

That's the problem with this site I've found. It's great to discuss stuff but it takes away all the fun when people from Australia tell me stuff that is happening weeks in advance.

Not that I am blaming them, or saying it is wrong. You say what you know, it's a natural way for a forum to work, but that's the problem.

To avoid more spoilers I'm moving the thread to the General Discussion section, which is more at UK pace. The Character/Actor discussions are done at Australian pace.

Not quite sure about these two, half the time I think they're okay together, the other half it's completely forced and there's no spark there. And I still think Annie belongs with Jai.Annie pouncing on him was a nice moment but felt a bit like Geoff sleeping with Claudia, she'd tried having a relationship on her own terms and it didn't work out so she decided to do what everyone else does.It also feels a bit like she's still upset about Belle and has just grabbed onto the nearest guy.

I got kinda bored with Jai and Annie too so I was glad about her and Dexter. I kinda wish they'd bring someone in who was pretty different to her, someone who challenged her a bit and who she had more spark with.

I liked Annie and Jai purely because they were comfortable with each other and weren't fighting and breaking up all the time, it was nice to have a couple who actually seemed happy together. It's also a bit disappointing that she's suddenly thrown herself into the sort of relationship with Dexter that she refused to have with Jai, they've kissed nearly as many times in a week as she and Jai did in a year.

Yeah, I kind of see what you mean.

I always thought Annie and Jai were really boring together, and maybe she needed someone who could make her character a little bit more exciting.

But to be honest, Dexter hasn't actually done this. He's just another dweeby version of Jai.

As a veiwer, i'll be honest and say that the up/down wirl-wind relationships that I have a habbit of moaning of ... those are the ones I tend to enjoy watching. And because we never really saw that with Jai and Annie, automatically they were labelled boring.

But thinking back about it now, I think that maybe these two were good together, and maybe their relationship was one of the most realistic ones.

A lot of people have comfortable relationships and its actually quite nice to see a couple on the show who are best friends, hardly ever fought and seemed to be there for eachother.

But now, I think that the Jai and Annie boat has sailed and maybe Jai isn't the one for Annie.

I agree with an earlier post. Annie needs someone completely opposit to her, someone that's going to challenge her and make her character a little more exciting.

We know that Jai wasn't the one to do that, and now we've discovered that Dexter isn't the one to do that.

Dexters gone by the looks of it. I thought he was ok, couldn't stand his sister though. Shame as I'd like to have seen how he and Annie ended up. And haaxhaa, I don't think he was quite as dweeby as Jai :P
