Nicole, Charlie, Ruby, Liam & Angelo. All seriously lacking the b in A - B (in terms of where their characters are going) they just seem to be written in the moment, with no long term plan in mind. Plus, their storylines usually always revolve around some contrived relatonship.

Irene falls into this category too, more than any other character infact, but like Morag, she has such a complex and well written history that if they did actually consider to use her PROPERLY there are countless poignant and dramatic storylines they could give her based on her backstory alone. I just wish they hadn't wasted the alcoholic elelment of Irene's character in that dreadful two week filler storyline last year. The idea that she can plausibly turn into a self depreciating, abusive monster when she lets herself go could be such a HUGE thing if they just did it right.

Well the main person I dislike and annoyed that has returned is Indigo, so not a good actress. Could of done without her really.

April is kinda of dull to.

Marilyn is a breath of fresh air to the show.

The new dexter is interesting and great to watch , and also liked the previous one.

Bianca, April and Liam.

I hate the way Bianca speaks to people, she's like I know everything blah blah blah

April, I just don't get what she's all about

Liam, He's got one more chance. I did hate him, but after he actually TOLD Charlie about Ruby's drinking (Before the counselling thing) He began to change for me. But he only has ONE CHANCE LEFT!!!

Everyone else can stay. I love them :)

Only just found this thread but, I couldn't agree with you more!! Particularly about the Irene potential.

But I prefer Irene to be just a supporting character to other characters.

Like people should realise that had Ailsa and Bobby still been in the show then they would be like Irene and Leah, just being there and supporting other characters' storylines.

i understand your point, but this year Alf is a great example of bringing a character who was side-lined for years back to the front of the action in numerous storylines. Leah too.

so i really hope that not only does that continue, but that Irene also gets proper focus.
