Ah ok... I see where you're coming from but I do think every scene surrounding Michael's death episodes and funeral was of such a high standard that the Chloe/Curtis stuff didn't take anything away from it to me. Also I liked the character driven resolution to the Chloe storyline in the next episode. Actually I think the Chloe storyline only featured in about 4 scenes that took place during the second and third segment, the first was entirely focused on the funeral (there were only three segments in the 90's).

I also love the ending to that funeral episode with Pippa breaking down in Sally's arms literally sobbing, very poignant.
