Home and Away In South Africa

Good Morning,

We in South Africa used to have Home and Away on our local DSTV (Multichoice) subscriber network and they decided to close the channel that used to show H & A - whilst there are many watches who objected and complained, the company said there was nothing they could do.......so after watching H & A for many years I am reduced to reading the episodes on your site. Thank goodness I can still kind of keep up to date. Not the same as watching mind you but what can I do. I was told that MNET had the rights to show H & A and was wondering if that was the case or if they had just dropped the show and did not share that info? Can someone there help?

Canyou get you Tube or something similar? If you can you can watch all the episodes on that.

As grumble bum said you can watch home and away at youtube.com or you can also download the episodes from this site. By going to Creativity & Multimedia, then Episodes & Clips then Current Australian Episodes.

Hi guys thanks for the reply but I looked on You Tube (might be stoopid) but it was not a full episode?! I shall have a look at the suggestion of going on this site and downloading the episode there.

Thanks again for your help. I was also hoping to find out if Multichoice (in South Africa) are the only ones who have the rights to Home and Away or if another broadcaster in Southern Africa has rights to it.

^^ The episodes are split up into 2 sometimes 3 parts on youtube but they will all be there! If you click on the persons name who uploaded them all parts will be on there, hope that helps!
