If you want to head straight to the Surf Club/beach area then its easier to take the 2nd road after the zebra crossing, but as I said its all just one big loop anyway with plenty of pathways in between

I want to go too :( !! Enjoy your day, I hope you get to see them film. It's a great experience and also great to see how a TV show is made. You realise its not an easy job, lots of takes, waiting around and the worse for them is parading around in bikinis in freezing cold weather!

Unfortunately Seven do not give out filming times anymore, following leaks (and some near leaks) of major spoilers over the last few months. So it really is pot luck I'm afraid.

As I've said though, location work tends to take priority early in the week - Monday-Wednesday, though it varies week to week. Symphony may be able to back me up on likely filming days as she's been in recent months.

what day are you thinking of going?

also, if they're not filming up by the beach, then go down the hill - they could be filming down by the pier. i was there once, [at 7am] and didn't see anyone there even though C7 had said they would be there - and was wandering around like a lost sheep until i came across all the vans down the hill.

good luck.

Its certainly not an easy one to choose with those days - I've checked through my visits and there were more Tuesday filming days than Wednesdays, but that was just what I found at the time.

It would probably pay to get there mid morning, and check both sides as Moya said - if they're not already there they may turn up around lunchtime (they may have been filming elsewhere in the morning, such as one of the houses in Avalon.) If not then its up to you as to how long you want to stick around on the offchance!

If the kiosk at the Surf Club is open (might not be as I think patrolling season is over) when you get there, try asking, as they should have copies of the filming schedule and would know when they'd be coming (they often help out with moving equipment onto the beach etc.)
