-Kevin- Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 OH MY F***ING GOD!!!!!!! i AM SO HAPPY , HES FINALLY GONE
DinerLandlord Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 I use to like Bea until she totally turned on Halfwit! I liked her because she's the only intellegent female in the house and well she wasn't afraid to speak her opinion. But then she changed very quickly as soon as Noirin left, taking her role as "queen Bea". She's actually really two-faced and find her slugging up to David and Lisa and Charlie for that matter plain and simple sly That's the thing with Bea, she was like that before she turned on Halfwit. I think a lot of Halfwit fans only found Bea's behaviour unacceptable once she started to turn on him, which is a bit unfair really when you consider how horrible she was being to David in particular. I'm glad Halfwit has gone, his time had definitely come, especially after his disgraceful attitude last week during the Alice In Wonderland Task, and also earlier this week when he kept breaking the rules. I clapped when Davina called his name, I was so thrilled. I still don't care who wins now, none of them really deserve it.
Slade Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I was actually surprised Halfwit went as I was sure it would be Marcus. As several housemates that have left before him, I actually thought he came across really well in his eviction interview and in BBBM. It’s a shame he couldn’t have stayed like that throughout but sort of lost his way after Bea came, when his arrogance increased after surviving multiple evictions and his obsession with gameplans. He seemed really likeable and genuine and left me wondering once again for the most part whether that house simply brings out the worst in people and whether they are really as bad as they came across in the house. Did you see the smirk on Bea’s face after Davina announced Freddie’s name and when she cuddled Marcus she said she knew (either referring to who she thought she would stay or go)? That’s two personal victories for her (the first being Noirin). I’m really starting to wonder is she is under the delusion that she genuinely thinks she’s got a chance at winning this – Surely not. Judging by what Davina said, and comments George Lamb’s made before and the way the try and present her in an unfavourable light, I’m guessing she’s not only going to get a REALLY hostile reception but an equally hard time on her eviction interview/BBBM. It’s interesting how she’s effectively replaced Freddie and Marcus with Lisa and David. And to think how she’s totally slatted both of them previously in the diary room. Surely she has to try and discredit Siavash to stand any chance of surviving beyond next week. Apart from him and Marcus the only other person I can see picking up enough nominations is David, so hopefully she’ll be causing more fireworks this weekend. Personally I hope it’s Marcus vs Siavash next week with Siavash going – Unlikely though.
Lesley Bee Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Personally I hope it’s Marcus vs Siavash next week with Siavash going – Unlikely though. I hope its Bea v Bea, with Bea going
Mrs Bishop Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I,m not sorry Halfwit has been evficted his voice was starting to girate on my nerves but yes his time in the houser had come for him to go. As for Bea i hope she gets her just rewards and is nominated next week, she has done nothing but winge about Freddie and Marcus all week and its the same old tiring thing that make you feel BB has had its day.# Lisa was overf the moon with her ginormous Packet of Tobbacca and a kighter from BB as a personal prezzie and I thought it made a new woman of her. Siavash I think also needs to be put up for eviction as i cant see him bringing any more to the house.Charlie has his moments but some times goes too far and up sets the rest of the house. As for David and Rodrigo I cant get a handle on thoes two they havent geled with me one little bit.
DinerLandlord Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 I just think it is hilarious that Lisa, of all people, has outlasted Freddie (I'll go back to calling him that now he is gone). I don't like Bea, but I like her as a villain, if you know what I mean. When Lisa was the main villain I just genuinely wanted her out, but I love to hate Bea, and look forward to more evil scheming from her. Hopefully she'll try to take down Marcus next, because he bothers me the most out of the remaining housemates. As for the next eviction, another surprise one like Freddie's would be nice. It would be great to see Charlie evicted, just because he is so desperate to win, and has been told all the way through the show that he will win.
I love music Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Bea is very aptly named, her voice drones on and on and on and she stings... What a nasty piece of work, but, God, what an actress! I was very surprised that Freddie went. I know he hadn't done himself any favours recently but he was, I think, a nice guy at heart, and Marcus had wanted to go. I wonder if people voted for Freddie to be evicted because they didn't like Marcus and thought it would serve him right if he had to stay in the House for at least another week? I hadn't thought much of David but he went up in my estimation when he took Freddie's feelings into account and returned the tea and he's growing on me. I think BB would have said and done exactly the same thing no matter which Housemate had been targeted despite Bea's vindictive remark about them protecting Freddie. Now that Freddie's gone, I wonder which Housemate Bea will sting next? And when she comes out of the House will she win an Oscar for her "poor little me" routine?
Cal Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 ^ Bea is going to go for whoever is likely to win. I think Freddie could have been in the final if it weren't for Bea. So my guess is she'll go after Rodrigo and Siavash next. Luckily both of them are able for her, so she may find it hard to "sting" them. I hope she goes after Siavash because he'll rip her to shreds if she pulls the same crap as she did with Freddie. I want a Siavash - Rodrigo final please.

I really don’t understand where a lot of the hatred comes towards David to be honest. What has he actually done wrong? Can anyone give specific examples? I’ve noted quite a few posts from people that use his lack of intelligence (according to them) and the fact that they find him physically unattractive as reasons to justify their hate. He’s also guilty by association. Because he immediately became friendly with Lisa (another person who I don’t really understand the severity of the hatred) by default people already made their minds up about him. Just as I predicted Bea’s shaping up to be (no pun intended ) a really good housemate. And I love her playing the part of villain. I know this is going to sound hypocritical but part of me actually likes the lying/backstabbing etc. I’ve heavily criticized Noirin for doing such things but with Bea as someone said before it’s so obvious that it is a blatant gameplan, I’m prepared to make allowances in some situations for her behaviour. You don’t have to like her as a person. I thought Noirin was playing a game at first but when she came out, to me it felt as though she was actually like the way she was in the house (which actually confirmed the way she came across in her VT). Bea’s so much more entertaining too and unlike Noirin (who only really used one tactic which was her feminine charm) Bea’s proven that she’s quite adaptable. When she was getting nowhere trying to turn people against David she turned her attention to Freddie and eventually befriended David to the point where he almost thinks the sun shines out of her backside now. I’m still not sure if Bea is really as bad as this and I myself suggested a few days ago that I thought there was a possibility she was an actress.

I actually think the public only warmed to Halfwit because he became the underdog after being nominated so many times. There was a point where it felt like he was being unfairly targetted by Lisa/Karly/Kris etc and I think people felt sorry for him, but before that he wasn't particularly likeable and he went back to showing his true colours in recent weeks. There are good sides to him but he also has an awful lot of annoying, arrogant and just plain odd qualities. Personally I'm glad he went, if only to see the smug look wiped off his face. It was a shame we had to endure Bea's smugness instead, but the more sure of herself she gets the harder she'll eventually fall. It will be very interesting to see the shock on her face when she realises how much the public dislike her.
