What is it about Noirin that's so amazing anyway? I mean, she's obviously a beautiful girl and has a nice enough personality (on the surface at least) but for all these people to fall in love with her? I suppose it could be just that she's the only available, attractive girl in the house but the men in there all seem ridiculously besotted by her.

I don't think it is just that she is attractive - Sophie is also very attractive, but she doesn't have the same effect over men. I think it is that Noirin does not hold back in showing that she is attracted to a man, and is very flirty, but on top of that she also has many of the qualities men look for in a girlfriend or wife, not just a one-night thing, which is what Sophie has. I remember weeks ago she had a conversation with Marcus about how she loves carrying out the duties that are expected of a housewife (cleaning, cooking, etc.), and that she is maternal and looks forward to having children. You could see the cogs turning in Marcus' head, thinking "I'd love a wife like her". I still don't know if Noirin realises she has this effect over men or not.

For starters I wouldn’t say that any of these people are in love with her. Besotted or infatuation is the word I would use. I think she’s pretty as I said when I saw her at first but I don’t think she’s anything special. I assume the reason why so many people have fallen for her is that I think she is very good on one to one relationships (for the world of me I can’t understand why but she is). And I think in the environment where a lot of the time there is very little to do most people will probably look for anything, any form of escape and if someone shows them any attention it could be misconstrued. I don’t think she would have had half this effect on people had she met them on the outside.

Anyway tonight’s highlights were interesting. Firstly I’m glad Tom told Marcus about his behaviour towards Noirin was after she rejected him - Someone needed to. And yes she did the right thing in telling Marcus about the kiss with Siavash but that was mainly because she was following Bea’s advice and again it comes down to perception, how people on the outside will perceive her. I found it funny in the diary room when she said that she liked Tom more than Siavash and that people would hate her. Well at least she’s not in denial or delusional. :D And I really can’t wait to see the roasting she’s going to get if she does appear on BBBM for instance. I think on the show they are pretty much anti-Noirin. It’s interesting how she always seems to use three words – “like”, “me” and “I”. Virtually every conversation she has when she’s not bitching about someone regardless of subject she will somehow make all about her. She is just so self-absorbed it’s unreal.

BTW has anyone been watching the live feed? Ladies and gentlemen Tom has left the building.

Devastated about Tom leaving. I know he was only there a week, but he was by far the best of the newbies, and so promising. He was exactly what the house needed, an Alpha-male who was decent and normal, unlike the brigade of a**holes and freaks they have in there. I can understand his reasons for leaving though, it is one thing to watch the show, but to actually live in the house with people like Marcus and Noirin must be extremely hard to deal with. I'll miss Tom, one of my favourite Housemates ever now!

Last night on Live Feed after Tom left, they had a conversation about all the Housemates just getting up and walking out. I think that would be so amazing!

It was quite interesting watching the events of yesterday unfold. I found Marcus’s sulking and isolation from everybody quite amusing. I have to admit Noirin did try and offer the Olive branch (although I was still quite suspicious) but Marcus’s pride is so dented that he just proved stubborn. I liked when he was sitting next to Lisa then Siavash and Noirin immediately got defensive, quite worried, saying that they needed to get him away from her. So they are both clearly thinking of nominations.

I like that quite a bit of that episode was focus around Tom even though it was still fairly Noirin centric. I have to kinda agree with him regarding Bea. When I first saw her I thought she was okay but now I don’t particularly like her or trust her. I think she’s intelligent, quite astute and seems reasonably aware of what is going on around her but I didn’t like the way she went running to Halfwit (according to Tom) when he warned her how she would be perceived on the outside. Tom was right. She is not to be trusted and I definitely think she’s got a gameplan which is why I think she could clash with Noirin at some point.

For the second time Tom mistakenly told someone something in confidence – Charlie - about the whole Noirin/Siavash/Marcus thing. I was shouting at the TV “NO don’t tell him, he can’t be trusted” and what did Charlie do despite promising not to say anything? He goes and tells Rodrigo.

It’s interesting how Marcus’s attitude changed towards Tom after finding out about Siavash. When he said that virtually everyone was delusional Marcus agreed with him. And he even stuck up for him when Tom announced he was leaving and Noirin said she thought he was stronger than that practically branding him a weak quitter (she was definitely not joking). It actually brought a smile to my face when Noirin and Marcus told each other to “F*** off”. That’s her gameplan scuppered as she was obviously planning to move on from Siavash to him and now with nominations round the corner she now has to rethink her strategy (If you watched the live feed the night before she was having a right b*tch for ages to Dogface).

When Tom told Sophie that she would be making a mistake if she got with Kris on the outside I felt quite sorry for her. She was clearly really upset by what he said, obviously still really likes Kris and I think she’s the loyal type too.

I did like Tom’s remark to Noirin before he went – “You’ve always got your mind on the game”. Too true. I’m really disappointed that he left (not so much at him because his reasons were valid but more at the situation). And that’s two people I would have kept in the house gone within the space of a week (I know virtually everyone here hated Kenneth but I thought he was quite an interesting character). Funny, I thought Tom wasn’t doing very much when he first entered the house but last night he was quite entertaining. I thought he was honest, sincere and although he was a bit rude to Bea generally came across quite well.

And we’re now exactly where we were last week in terms of the state of the house and housemates – Nowhere farther forward. I’m actually finding that I like most of the people in there less and less. Since he lied about Tom last week, I’ve completely gone of Siavash. Noirin and Charlie I can’t stand. I don’t particularly like Marcus, Bea and Halfwit. Hira, David, Lisa ATM are ok but none of those three deserve to win it in my book. I quite like Rodrigo (although he does really annoy me at times) and I really like Dogface but again I’m not sure if she’s done enough to warrant winning it. I just know I’m probably going to be faced with the person I ultimately want to win in the end is going to be the lesser of how ever many evils.

It was hilarious when Tom called them all delusional, and Marcus agreed - Marcus is the most delusional of them all!!!!

I agree about the house now being back to where it was before the newbies arrived. Hira offers very little, if not nothing, she seems to be the female Rodrigo. How many times have we seen on the highlights just a random scene of "Rodrigo is in the garden/bathroom/kitchen, alone and doing nothing". Neither of them are worth watching. David is just a replacement for Karly by Lisa's side, although is is more stupid than evil. The only real difference now is Bea's presence as Freddie's friend, even Lisa seems quite pally with him now as well.

I also could not choose a winner out of this lot. Noirin, Marcus and Siavash are all dreadful, with their constant scheming, b*tching and amateur dramatics. Lisa was vile, but she has mellowed now, but she'll never win. None of the three remaining newbies stand a chance. Sophie is becoming a lot more likeable, and I want her in the final, but I don't think she should/could win. I think it is between Freddie, Charlie and Rodrigo. I cannot abide Charlie's attention-seeking and "entertaining" behaviour, but I suppose some viewers must like him. Same goes for Rodrigo. Freddie is probably the most likely winner, and if you asked me a few weeks ago should he win I would have said yes, but now I don't know. He kind of already has won in a way by coming through all the bullying as a stronger person, but now I'm no longer seeing him as a victim he really is very irritating to watch. His chat with Tom yesterday made me want to smack him. The constant hmming and hawing must be unbearable. I like the idea of there not being a winner this year, and the finalists just all walk out together in the end. That'll never happen though.

I really wish Tom had stayed now, because he deserved to win, just for being genuine.

Noirin and Marcus face eviction apparently this week

Please people you have got to get Marcus out.I can't bear him any longer.

I was sort of half asleep when I was watching the highlights. Marcus has got such a foul mouth (and I know a lot of people swear I admit I do) and what he did was totally uncalled for. That tirade seemed to be purely for the cameras and because he knew the other housemates were watching him. He even said as much to Big Brother later on in the diary room. Was it just me or did I detect slight annoyance in BB's tone. The way the tokens were revoked seemed very much like an on the spot decision. I will be very surprised if he isn’t up for nomination this week.

There’s no way Bea is not playing a game. Tom was spot on. She was going around telling one person one thing and another person something else. As someone who I thought was reasonably clued on and already watching the show (as indicated by her immediate attachment to Freddie) I am quite surprised by the tactics she’s employing. She must know this will make her very unpopular. Not quite sure what she’s playing at TBH.

Interesting how Freddie seemed quite emotional when she was b*tching about Marcus though. Either like Tom, the whole b*tchiness is getting to him or he was upset that she was bad mouthing his friend (because regardless of what he’s done he’s the one person who hasn’t turned on Freddie and sort of stood by him).

Surprise, surprise Noirin reverts to Plan B (or is that C,D, E or F). She could be up as well. I didn’t quite catch the very end of the show but I saw Marcus and heard the word “bodyguard” mentioned.

I wonder if Lisa’s kept her head down enough to avoid being up this week?

Marcus and Noirin are up for eviction this week, according to reports. I'm hoping for a surprise double eviction and the two of them are turfed out. That won't happen though. I think Marcus has run his course, and BB will do anything in it's power to get him evicted. They won't want to lose Noirin because of her settling for second best relationship with Siavash. I expect Marcus' scenes will be edited to make him look as bad as possible this week. I'll be glad to see the back of him though.
