On the live show last night new housemate Hira was told by Big Brother to pick two balls out of a box, full of balls with names of all of the original housemates on the balls and she got out Halfwit's ball and Noirin's ball.

Here is the new housemates task for the next few days,

Hira can tell all the new housemates about this task and the new housemates will have to get the original housemates to nominate Halfwit and Noirin.

The new housemates can not discuss nominations with any of the original housemates.

Only the original housemates will be nominating this week and they can only nominate the others original housemates

If either Noirin of Halfwit are not up for eviction this Friday, then all of the new housemates will be up for the eviction.

Sometimes i just love the cunning genius of BB's mind, putting Karly's boyfriend in to the house just as she's getting evicted :P

That bit was a stroke of genius. I'm slightly confused though as I'd read on more than one occasion that Karly's boyfriend was a footballer and that they'd recently moved to Australia together, but now we're told that he's a millionaire businessman and has been in America since Karly's been in the house.

Anyway...sorry to say that Kenneth's entrance was the only bit I was really impressed by last night. As predicted, the new housemates are mostly complete idiots. It really frustrates me how they keep choosing housemates who are literally too stupid to understand the tasks. I know Hira's first language isn't English, but if she can't speak the language well enough to understand the game then she really shouldn't be in there. I was just cringing the entire time she was in the diary room.

The other guy, David I think, is another horrendous choice. Stupid, obnoxious, over the top...the list goes on (and none of it good). And why so many gay guys this year? Haven't we got enough with Charlie and Rodrigo constantly flirting/fighting and Freddie mooning after Charlie?

Bea and Tom (I think that's his name) seem relatively ok, but it's too early to tell really. The fact that I don't hate them already is a miracle, so at least there's some hope.

Hmpf. <_<

Not impressed by any of the new housemates.

David is vile, and he has instantly teamed up with Lisa. Has he not watched the show at all? Is he mental?

Bea will probably get on well with Freddie, which is good, but I find her quite irritating. Anyone who has been fired from every single job they have ever had must be uncooperative and difficult to deal with in the extreme.

Kenneth comes across as shallow and boastful. He and Karly clearly use each other, he has money to offer her, and she has her body to offer him. I don't believe for one second he is a self-made millionaire. He is obviously a spoiled rich-kid living off his parents wealth and trying to pass it off as his own.

Hira is married to her cousin, which I find kind of unsettling. As for her intelligence, I can't tell if she is a bit dumb, or it is just a language-barrier problem. She seems like the most interesting out of the new lot, so I might grow to like her. However, I think she is the most likely candidate for eviction next week if she and the others fail the secret task, which seems quite likely.

Tom is obviously meant to be the "hot guy", but he isn't particularly hot, he just has a ridiculous looking, steroid-riddled, muscular body. If he can manage to attract Noirin and anger Marcus though, I will probably love him for that.

I shouldn't judge them all so quickly, as I remember my first impression on many of the original housemates being totally wrong (I actually liked Lisa!). All I can say is this new bunch just made me realise how much I miss Angel!

Or just so rich they don't care?

Actually it's quite a common thing for cousins to marry in Muslim culture - I have a friend whose parents are first cousins and it's quite possible that she'll have an arranged marriage with one of her cousins too. I know it's weird for us (and has been proven biologically to not be a good idea) but it's something they've always done.

I think Noirin would love it if he took a liking to her and would totally encourage him. He's got to be better than Sree and Marcus after all!

Rex absolutely cracked me up, firstly the way he was with Marcus, being very friendly and urging him to continue pursing things with Noirin. He purposely said that so Marcus could continue to make a fool of himself for the sake of amusement. I loved the way when he was doing the task he was deliberately tormenting the housemates by ensuring they were shocked fairly frequently. Lisa and Noirin's reactions were so funny.

I was disappointed with Karly going because I felt we didn't see the real Karly. And again as mentioned the problem was her allegiance to Lisa which effectively sealed her fate. I actually didn't have a problem with they way she was with Halfwit before because I don't think she was that rude and she did tell him to his face. Did I mention that I loved her accent, “He is a disgusting peg”, “They canny do it”, “His breath is absolutely hoaching”.

Although I don't particularly like Norin I was kind of relieved she was staying because I thought she was a better, more independent housemate than Karly and had more to offer (although I still don't trust her at all).

I think bringing in 5 new housemates is a good idea in principle because it effectively eliminates the divide in the house. It will be interesting to see how Lisa is now because she has to change her attitude.

Hira was absolutely hopeless in the diary room (and to think Marcus said Sree was bad during the ice cream task). Firstly she wasn't really listening when Big Brother was telling he what the secret mission was and then as soon as she came out of the house she told the original housemates that she wasn't allowed to tell them what went on almost giving the game the game away. It's a bit early to say what I think of them but Karly mentioned something in her eviction interview about Kenneth putting them into line so if he does that could be interesting. Tom looks like he could cause trouble between Marcus and Noirin. Bea seems nice and I noticed Freddie was spending quite a bit of time with her in the live feed. David looks like he might provoke a bit of jealousy in Rodrigo who annoyed me again last night. I have to agree with what Noirin and Charlie said about him regarding his double standards. He takes the moral highground an bleats on about principles (when someone decides to deface a bit of furniture) then just because Charlie throws a cup of water at him he pours a bottle of oil on his bed and then throws it right at his face. BB was right to pull him up about it.

Looks like Freddie has a thing for new girl Bea, little does he know she has to try and get him put up for eviction :( this should be an interesting week :P

I'm not sure Bea will go along with it. I think she'll either do it half-heartedly or not at all. I'm still not sure what I think of any of them yet but I did think it was interesting that she was the only one who expressed reservations about the task. Obviously it's only a game so the others probably don't see a problem with it, but she seemed to be thinking that it might be better for the newbies to take their chances with the eviction rather than doing all that sneaking around and manipulating of people who haven't done anything to deserve it. I liked that. :)

I'm so glad Karly has gone, I hated her accent and didn't like her much!

I like Bea, but I'm not too keen on the other new HMs. I'm amazed that the original HMs seemed to like Kenneth, can't they see how shallow and materialistic he is? I guess being in the BB House colours your judgement, most of them seemed to think Kris was a nice guy! Freddie is still my fave and love that he and Bea have got together. Also loved that he was the only HM generous enough to take the token back to the house (for the others :)) when they got told they could swap it for anything they wanted and Charlie got a MacDonald's meal, someone got a letter from home etc.

I reckon the three finalists this year will be Freddie, Siavash and Charlie. :D

If she is thinking like that, that’s pretty smart. As long as she doesn’t do anything too stupid you would say at worst there’s a one in five chance of her going so an 80% chance of her staying. Interesting how Brian Downling said on BBLB that if he was in that position he would have told the housemates that he had been watching on outside and Noirin and Halfwit had been backstabbing them and nominating them. That could work but it’s not guaranteed and even if it was there’s a strong possibility that they could face resentment from the person that survives and this could lead to a backlash from some of the original housemates that are supportive of that person or even most of them could rally together with the idea being - how dare they come in for five minutes and try and break the group up. Bea’s idea is actually more astute because now she will look like the nice one so no one would really want to evict her and although the others are simply completing the task it would still probably reflect badly on them.

I’m glad I was dubious of Noirin’s sudden change in attitude. When Davina announced Karly’s name she made a point of saying how cruel it was she was reunited then seperated from her boyfriend. She said it several times in fact. Almost as if she wanted to be seen to be showing sympathy and look gracious in victory. But in last night’s highlights she made a point of how different Kenneth was and saying in regards to the couple how could they like one person so much but hate the other. She didn’t say it very loud but it was loud enough. And so I still believe she’s gameplaying and trying to make the audience think she’s a nice person.

On BBLB they showed Marcus go into the diary room and talk about the housemates and he said he liked everyone except for Tom because he seemed too authoritarian. Funny that. Afterwards Tom went in and said that he found Noirin attractive and wanted to spend more time with her but was a bit weary because Marcus was watching her like a hawk – 24/7. I can sense this could eventually lead to tension and then hostility. Although I don’t think it could be anywhere near as bad (and I don’t particularly think Noirin’s led him on) it could be Sara, Stuart, Darnell again.
