I can't wait to see Marcus' reaction when a new hot male housemate comes in and makes a beeline for Noirin. She might be controversial, but at least she's interesting, unlike that boring b***h Karly.

I don't think they'll put a guy in who'll be likely to fancy Noirin - there's been enough men fawning all over her already. I read somewhere that they're going to put a guy in for Sophie, as apparently she usually goes for muscly, black men and they want to see whether she'll stay faithful to Kris (who has said in the papers that he isn't interested in having a relationship with Sophie when she comes out - no surprises there then!). Lately I've been warming to Sophie actually, she seems quite genuine and kind hearted even if she is thick as two short planks!

Yes, but I think Sophie will resist any man's advances, because she won't want to look like she's thrown Kris to the curb. If they had put Sophie's ideal type of guy in early, say after Saffia left, then he might have stood a chance of attracting Sophie away from Kris, but now they have left it too late, and I think Sophie has genuine feelings for Kris, although I doubt Kris really cares for her. Even if the Kris/Sophie romance is completely fake, Sophie will probably think viewers would judge her harshly, so she won't want to get involved with anyone else. Noirin on the other hand will probably be delighted to get attention from an attractive man, or any man who isn't Marcus or Sree. Also, as we've seen, most men seem to be powerless to resist Noirin, so even if they put a guy in who fancied Sophie, he'd probably end up fancying Noirin eventually as well. Even Kris had a thing for Noirin.

EDIT: Regarding the comparison made by some people between Noirin and Makosi from BB6, I don't think Noirin is anywhere near as much of a schemer or game-planner as Makosi was. Makosi vice-like grip of power over the house was legendary. She obliterated Maxwell's group and had almost everyone wrapped around her finger, so much so that a few housemates started to nearly lose their minds with fascination over her. Noirin is a bit more of a lone shark, and she definitely isn't alpha-female like Makosi was, Lisa is the alpha-female this year. If Noirin is like any former housemate it is Mel from BB1, she had lots of the men under her spell like Noirin does.

Regarding the argument presented by some people :P that Noirin was nowhere near as much of a game player as Makosi I agree. I still feel there are similarities i.e. both of them survivors, both of them manipulative (on an individual and on a group level), both of them thrive on attention and both of them use their appearance (or sexuality) to progress further in the game. There’s no denying how much influence Makosi had in the house (Noirin has too to a lesser extent as we could see even Angel fell for her in addition Sree and Marcus). One housemate (Kamal) was so obsessed that he started copying her clothing/hair etc. It was only really Derek, Saskia and Maxwell that could see through her. She took risks (e.g. when she gave the housemates in the Secret Garden the alcohol for Saskia, Maxwell etc the night before nominations knowing full well it would tick them off) and she was a bit lucky (the week when Vanessa went she would have gone had it not been for the final decision who would be evicted falling to the housemates) but it worked. However due to the nature of her tactics she became hugely unpopular on the outside which is why she didn’t win and why I feel to a certain extent that Noirin won’t win either.

Oh God, I'd forgotten how much I hated Craig. Typical of BB to accentuate his worst feature (his voice) by sticking him in a box and making it the only part of him we can see/hear! What a nasty, insecure, pointless person.

I was just thinking that as well, i forgot how irritating and spiteful he was

Agree, he is awful. Siavash was trying to be friendly at the end, giving him compliments (probably because Siavash was delighted to see somebody new after six weeks), and Craig just pretty much ignored him apart from saying goodbye. I still like Makosi though, despite how controversial she is.

Despite the fact that Craig was a horrible person and Makosi was one of the most calculating housemates ever they made BB6.

Big Brother 6 would have been crap without them as they for me are the most memorable housemates from that year.

Nikki will be in tonights highlights because she again was the most memorable.

Please someobeody from the UK vote Karly for me :D

Yeah I still remember part of his VT when he said something about finding people’s weaknesses and exploiting them. I found him so annoying, especially the way he kept pining after Anthony (another housemate I couldn’t stand).

In saying that Federico really annoyed me last night as well. He came across as quite arrogant (probably explains why he got on with Noirin then) and I have to agree with the other housemates that he barely acknowledged them. He seemed more interested in trying to chat up Noirin than anything and it just bugged the hell out of me when he told her about Michael Jackson’s death. It wasn’t so much the telling her that bothered me it was more that he wanted to be the one to do it simply because he was told not to by Big Brother. Marcus obviously called him a w***er because he was jealous. And he does seem to be doing a Sree now. One example of this was yesterday when Noirin was sitting outside and having a conversation with Halfwit and he came over and then Halfwit made an excuse to leave. It just felt as though Marcus was looking for her so he could hang around her again.

As always Makosi knows how to play people and I loved the way she was trying to wind Siavash up. It’s a shame she couldn’t have actually stayed in the house for a few days. I would have liked to have seen her and Noirin together. I actually felt sorry for Dogface (did I mention that her attempt at Pia Jesu and the housemate’s reactions was hilarious) when she suggested that “they” (I’m assuming the housemates) were naïve. She looked upset. I just wish Makosi directed some of the marks towards Noirin.

Never thought I’d say this but Noirin wasn’t half as bad last night as she has been previously. I thought she handled Marcus very well and she remained very calm despite the fact that he was openly criticising her to her face about the way he was acting. She was also very direct (something she should have been with Sree) and told him that she didn’t like the way he kept paying her compliments all the time even when they were trying to have a serious conversation, and the way he kept trying to cuddle her etc. I watched the live feed and they only showed a fraction of what happened in the highlights. It’s interesting how Marcus said he was annoyed with both of them for having the bust up and making up about it. He even went as far as saying that he had a rant about them in the diary room just before he had it out with them. I got the impression that he would be quite happy if Noirin wasn’t friends with anyone. That way he could have her all to himself.

I thought that Noirin handled Marcus superbly to be honest and he then came across as childish that she was telling him what she wanted , hes trying to control her and he doesn't even really know her  I thought men wait till they get married to start controlling women

I never thought I'd say this but I want Noirin to win

I have hated her so much these last few weeks but this week shes really grown on me because she is without a doubt the only genuine person in there . I like how she stood up for herself and her morals by not wanting to be involved with the nasty gang and being her own person as she also said she doesn't feel close to Marcus,Siavash and Halfwit either so she is on her own and thats a very brave thing to do in the Big Brother house which got her nominated this week.

I don't really want Noirin to win hugely at the moment because she was a bit of a rude ***** a while ago but she is really growing on me a lot lately.

I think Siavash is a real gameplayer!! not thats a bad thing as he is a good gameplayer , although he can never play as good a game as our Makosi did :P

It was sooo weird seeing old housemates coming back especially Craig and Makosi doing a task that I remember so well and its also funny how they really didn't get along at all which I think was mainly due to Craig fancying Anthony and Makosi also having designs on him. The jealousy on Craig's face on "pool night" (some will know what pool night was ) was hilarious .

And also did anybody see the look of sheer panic on Charlie's face when Halfwit came to the kitchen to tell Team nasty about what Craig had said to him about him being up every week and then eventually winning. They we're all looking very worried especially Charlie he was looking SO uncomfortable :D

and Slade you're right about his anger for Federico was all from jealousy of him flirting with Noirin.

I wonder did Federico get in trouble from BB or I wonder was he told to say such things, I have to wonder about Makosi saying about the secret house , was that also a ploy by BB.

Marcus is just utterly vile. He deliberately positioned himself outside of the sitting room with duvet over himself so he could perv on Nikki. He wasn't even remotely subtle about it. That must be his normal way of interacting with women, leering at them on the internet or in magazines. It is so obvious from how he deals with Noirin that he is not used to female company, and the fact that he goes on and on about women's bodies and sex is a true sign of someone who isn't very experienced. He is like a teenage boy who brags to his friends about how many girls he's been with, when secretly he is still a virgin and is just bluffing.

The most ridiculous thing about Marcus is that he probably could attract some female attention if he worked on his social skills and appearance more, like most normal people do. But he doesn't even bother, he just expects attractive women to be attracted to him without any effort on his part at all.

The thing is, Marcus actually likes looking like that. God knows why but he thinks it's attractive, so I doubt he'll be changing any time soon. Although hopefully he'll realise from the public response when he comes out that he isn't all that, and that he needs to work on both his appearance and his attitude before any woman worth her salt will give him a chance.
