Makes, models, years, etc of the cars that we've seen the characters driving. I know nothing about cars myself, but I can tell you some of the colours... For example: Robbie had a red car, and it looked like it was from the 50s or something. Does anyone know what kind of car it actually was ?

Okay, you got me, that question is really the only reason I started the thread, but I thought that it might bring out some closet-car-experts to tell us all about the unappreciated vehicles we see day in and day out. Could be interesting. Especially if anyone knows where there are pictures ?

One thing I noticed on H & A is that they dont have very nice cars...well besides Haley, was it her that had the pink mini?

Some of the cars are/were from decent manufacturers but the issue is that most of them are/were pretty old.

I think actually Haley drove a pink Volkswagen Beetle (Herbie strikes again!). The older make mind you not the newer cars that cost about £15000 brand new.

Flynn also drove a VW van, I’m not sure which model to be honest.

During 2002 Morag had a BMW (can’t recall which one exactly again). I remember because she almost ran over Angela Russell outside the Surf Club. That was a decent car but she was a judge so you would expect her to be able to afford it.

And I believe Kane drove a Mitshibushi, the estate type i.e. family car.

Wasn't Hayley's pink car passed down for years? Starting with Angel, then Shannon, and so on. Can't remember how it got to Hayley though. It was destroyed when she and Brodie wrapped it around a telephone pole.

Charlie has a good car, all the rest look pretty shabby.

Rachel drives a Saab 900i which is around 20 years old.

I believe Alf drives a Holden WB ute - which would be from the early 80's

Martha has a Datsun ute, 720 model I believe, which would also be early to mid 80's

Leah has a Ford Telstar, again probably late 80's

The keen-eyed will also note that a number of Summer Bay residents over the years have had the same numberplates

The pink car Hayley had wasn't the same as Angel's - as Slade said, Hayley's was a VW Beetle, Angel's was a Fiat 500 (Bambino)

Charlie has a good car, all the rest look pretty shabby.

I’ve just had a quick look at the clip where Charlie first turned up and Morag was on her mobile phone and she had to swerve to avoid hitting her. Charlie appears to be driving a sky blue Hyundai and Morag a dark blue Vauxhall Astra. So she’s obviously downgraded from the BMW she had several years previously.

I also think that Sally drove a Vauxhall Vectra around 2007/2008 and who could forget Amanda’s car, an Audi TT arguably the most expensive car a Summer Bay resident’s had in recent years.

All of the above are fairly recent cars.

I’m no car expert either. I can generally tell the make of cars but find it difficult to tell the specific models.

Yes. Now that was a Mini. A Mini Cooper to be more exact. I completely forgot about that. And on the subject of Nicole her mother Nat drove an Audi A3.
