Red Ranger 1 Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Glad you weren't too insulted.Part of me was impressed by your ramblings, the other half deeply scared:I found it hard to digest and I was there so I'd love to know what someone who's been away for eight years would have thought.(Thank god you didn't give chapter and verse on Martha's romantic history, we'd have been here all week.)By the way, Flynn first appeared in 2001 which was around the same time as the Dani/Kane storyline so I'm not sure if an eight year absentee would be familiar with him or not.

As for Flynn, I dont really remember him but it could be I'd just forgotten him if he was new when I stopped watching. Summerbay really is a dangerous place to live isnt it, like more dangerous than Afghanistan lol. I love the fact that this Rachel has been kidnapped FIVE times Love that Morag still makes appearances too. One quick question, you mentioned the OLD diner collapsing? What happened there then? Also I remember seeing on the news a few years ago, when Austrailia had the bush fires, that the set of home and away was partly destroyed, including the caravan park. Did they ever put this in to the story lines or did they just rebuild the set so you never noticed? Thanks again for the replies, you've been most helpfull.

You only ever get internal scenes at Summer Bay House now and the caravan park appears really briefly now, filmed in what I believe is an emu compound. I don't know what the owners have done about the original house.

There have been 3 diners, the original diner, The Bayside Diner burnt down in 2000, then The Beachside Diner replaced it but collapsed during an earthquake last year. The current diner is the Pier Diner.

Red Ranger 1 Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 If it helps, Flynn first appeared as Noah's counsellor when he had a drink problem and later worked with Shelley and Gypsy at the Drop-In Centre.(But, to make things really confusing, the role was recast at the beginning of 2003, so when he married Sally he looked completely different.)
Traceve Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Vinnie went into witness protection, but officially died in 2005 whilst in witness protection I thought he was still alive? He survived the fire at the prison and then got put into witness protection. He came back as a bear and then left again. How did he die?
