Red Ranger 1 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 ^Well, yeah, they did seem to forget about that. But then they forgot about it pretty quickly anyway because it got in the way of the story.I remember when Kirsty nearly drowned and Jade got upset because she didn't know it was happening, Shelley told her that the link was bound to fade as they got older and spent less time together. My personal explanation for the discrepancy is that rather than being genetic it was some sort of empathic link resulting from the fact they knew each other so well. (Yeah, well, it's all pseudo-science anyway.)
grinch-girl Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I never got to see the Laura storyline, but i'd read about it because I got into the Sutherlands etc when H&A the early years was on, I was dissapointed I didn't get to see that stuff. It would be really cool like someone else said in this thread if they re-explored the relationship between Kirsty and Laura, bring some family for Kirsty too, and Ollie. How would he react!

You didn't miss much, but if they brought Laura back now it would make for a very interesting storyline.
