Characters You're Unsure Of

Belle - I loved her at first when she was mad about Ric, then hated her for the 18 months or so she was with Drew, then loved her again when she got with Aden, then hated her when she hurt Angelo, then loved her for a short while before the 2008 finale, and since then I've hated her, especially with all the drugs rubbish.

Kirsty - I can't even keep track of how many times my feelings have changed about her. She is a fascinating character, that's all I can say.

Charlie - so far I've only changed my mind about her once. I didn't like her at first, but once she moved on from Roman I really started to like her.

Ruby - opposite from Charlie, I loved her a first, but now I HATE her since she attached herself like a parasite to that piece of vermin Xavier.

Rachel - like Kirsty my feelings about her change a lot. Just when you think she is the most insufferable b*tch on earth, she does something really nice, or shows great judgement and intelligence when faced with a dilemma.

Miles - at first I thought he was a great addition to the show, but now I'm not so sure. He seems really incompetent and pathetic a lot of the time. I don't hate him though, yet.

At the minute, it would be Miles. I adored him at first. I thought he was a great addition to the show and although he'd been brought in as a connection to Sally, he seemed to work just as well - if not better - as an individual character. However, as soon as they paired him with Kirsty (Or even once that friendship struck up) he went so downhill and seemed to be quite whiny and needy. I don't know, he just lost some sparkle.... It's so sad.

Kirsty is another one. Although I've been unsure pretty much since they sent Kane away and she became all selfish. I do think she played a part in me listing Miles too.

Apart from that, I can't think of anyone. I have the likes of Ruby, Jai and Annie that I'm not too sure about, but I know is more down to severe underuse of the characters as opposed to anything the characters have done or them personally. With the right storyline/s, I think all 3 have quite a bit of potential.

Geoff- I love him one minute but hate him the next. He can be so sweet and cute one minute but then can just be so irritating and annoying the next.

Roman- I loved him at first, but hated him around Martha surrounding Jacks death. He was so annoying, especially towards Charlie! But then again, I'm begining to like him again.

Martha- Loved her up until her first marriage to Jack broke down. Couldn't stand her up until she fell in love with him again. Now though, I'm egining to dislike her again!

Jack- Never liked him up until like the end when he was just plausible.

Belle- Again I loved her up until this year. I actually CANT STAND HER anymore.

Aden- LOVED LOVED LOVED him up until this year until he got all soft and lost his bad boy image. Still though, I do like him, just not as much.

Charlie- Hated her at the start but I'm begining to like her.

Ruby- Hated her, loved her, now with this Xavier thing I'm not sure how I feel!

Anyway I dont know how I feel about Miles. Hes just there. I am the same about Geoff, I dont know why though.

Charlie is a very hard character to feel anything for but I think that's because of her personality. I, too, wish they would give us more of a backstory for her and explore it a bit more. I suppose Ruby's in the same boat.

Geoff doesn't have a lot to do at the moment so it hard to feel anything for someone who's turned into a background character. If they actually did something with him and Annie then they would be more interesting.

Definitely Martha, probably Jai and Annie.

There’s times when Martha has actually made my blood boil in fact she can more annoying the characters I actually dislike, for instance when she had a go a Tony regarding the way he was acting towards Rachel. Or the way she acted towards Roman when she found out he was in love with her or the way she treated him about a year ago. But I don’t know there’s just something about her that prevents me from disliking her (believe me I’ve tried). Perhaps it’s possibly when I think of other times when such as the way she was with Bridget when she first met her. And how she’s matured over the last couple of years, especially after she was diagnosed with breast cancer that makes me really like her at times. Overall I would say I like her more often than not but somtimes she can really annoy me.

I don’t see what purpose Jai’s character is serving at the moment. He isn’t really doing anything. When he first turned up I didn’t really like him, considering the way he was acting towards Miles after he went out of his way to help him and thought he was a bit bland. After he formed a friendship with Axel I actually really enjoyed his scenes but they had to go and ruin it by killing Axel off and ever since he’s gone back to just existing in the show rather than affecting the course of any events. So overall there’s no dislike towards him whatsoever (because he’s essentially a good person) but is a character that doesn’t have any major impact on how I feel.

Again Annie is a character that I feel doesn’t really bring anything to the show at the moment but I don’t harbour any bad feelings towards her. She has the potential to become a lot better character with decent storylines and writing but at the moment as with Jai, is simply there.

I like Aden, but not the extent that I understand the HUGE hype he has. Sure, he's a good looking boy and Todd is a damn fine actor, but the character can really make me want to scream at times. More so regarding his relationship with Belle. I do, however, love the dark storylines he has, which I think are amazing for any character. During those times (and assuming it doesn't all happen whilst he's glued to Belle) I love him.

Belle is another. Like someone else said, I loved her at first. Particularly her relationship with Ric, but at the minute, she seems such a shadow of her former self. I miss the days where she had that amazing sparkling personality (Sarcasm and wit included), yet still got some drama. These days, I feel like it's all about the drama. Although the fact that all those other characters that were around her mainly (Mattie, Cassie, Ric, Lucas, Drew etc) have all leftmay play a part in that.

I would be going with the general consensus here in saying Kirsty. Not really sure if it's the character that doesn't sit well with me or Christie's portrayal of her?

I really loved Kirsty and Kane but since they’ve split I think there’s some maturity lacking in her character.

Kirsty was very well suited to Kane, not so to Miles IMHO.

the introduction of Brenden

Xavier has changed for the better - I like him now

I warmed to Charlie and Ruby but as single people and I think we needed some more backstory to them. I aslo agree with Slade about Martha - I cant hate her but there are times I would of slaped her one if I could

I liked Hugo at first now I think he is as dogy as prawn left out in the sun myself

Jai and Annie have had bugger all to do from the writers and I see some potential in the pair of them

Jai: I honestly cant see the point of him, he drives me up the wall, he doesnt do anything but judge and I cant stand people like that, I honestly cant.

Annie: she is also grating on my nerves. Like Jai she doesnt do anything so yet again another character that needs something to do.

Roman: I love this character but his recent attitude is annoying me to the extent where I think if he doesnt change it I will begin to hate him and I dont want to.
