Rachel was getting better and now she's drinking again. It'll probably even be worse because she now knows Tony killed himself for no reason.

Jack is so happy to meet Jack. This is also a weird sentence! It works both ways too. They are both happy to meet each other.

Martha should choose Jack. Plus, now that we know he's still alive, she can't marry Roman. She needs to get a divorce first.

I wonder how everyone will react to the news.

I am happy Angelo punched Jack. He deserved it.

Really liked the stuff with Angelo/Jack, Watson/Charlie and Watson/Angelo. I’m not sure how much time has passed since Jack was revealed to be alive but I’m a bit surprised Martha wanted him to meet his son so quickly. I thought she would have sat down with Roman and discussed it properly first.

Hopefully everyone will be lining up to apologise to Angelo for blaming him for Jack’s death.

OK I know I haven't updated in ages I know I've kind of been lazy and whenever I think about doing it, I really haven't been bothered. But I will try and update 2 or 3 chapters this weekend. I'll do one at least

Finally, an update. I have two (crap) chapters here and soon I'm going to write more

Chapter 19

“What?!” All Angelo could hear were people shouting what at him in confusion.

“Jack, he’s alive. I’ve just seen him at Tony’s grave”

“But, you shot him” said Watson.

“I know but he said he was in witness protection”

“Witness protection? What for?”

“Something about protecting his family…”

“This makes no sense” Charlie muttered to herself.

“I had no idea” Charlie added. “Where is he now? I need someone to explain this to me”

Someone walked into the police station and everyone’s head turned to face her.

“I’ll explain” Fitzy told them.

Martha had just fed the kids and was going to head to the hospital to see Roman. She was in her room just getting a few bits for Roman when the phone started ringing. She ran down the stairs but just missed it but they left an answerphone message.

“Hi Martha, its Dr Young from Northern Districts Hospital. This is just a reminder about your chemo tomorrow. Thanks, bye.

Martha listened to it then pressed the delete button. She had no intention of going. She had a lot of her mind and didn’t think it mattered if she missed one appointment and re-scheduled.

“Come on kids, I said we’ll get there before 5”

Fitzy explained everything about Jack, about his past and what happened that night at the development site. After all this time, Jack was alive and no one could believe it.

“What does this mean now for Jack?”

“Well, I spoke to him earlier. He knows he was wrong and he’s probably not going to be very popular for a while but he is sorry and wants his life back here in the Bay. And his job”

“No!”

“Angelo, Jack is going to try everything to get his job back, he loved it. And I don’t see why he can’t”

“He made me think I was a murderer for four years. I’m not working with him”

“You may not have a choice. When everyone believed you had killed Jack, none of them wanted to work with you but you came back here and started working”

“I know”

“We kind of had a fight earlier” he informed them.

“Ah, so that’s what happened to your face then”

Martha was just at the diner with Brooke and Jack before heading for the hospital when she spotted Charlie sitting on her own in the corner.

“Hey, how are you?”

“Fine”

“Look, Charlie, I don’t know what I can do or say to make you forgive me but I really miss you”

“I heard Jack’s back, how are you coping with that?”

“I just can’t believe it”

“Neither can I”

“Martha, I miss being friends with you too”

Martha and Charlie hugged and arranged to meet up for a drink sometime this week before Martha left the diner.

“Hey”

“Hey babe”

“How are you feeling now, Roman?”

“Better but still sore”

“I’m not surprised. The kids have been worried”

“Come here you two” Roman said to them. He gave them both a hug before turning to Martha.

“We need a chat”

“Sure. Jack, Brooke, can you go outside and wait but don’t go anywhere else. Mummy needs a talk with Daddy”

“Have you seen Jack since?”

“Yes. He came round and met Jack earlier”

Roman felt jealousy go through him. Even though Jack wasn’t really his son, he had always thought of him to be. Martha could tell what he was thinking.

“Don’t worry; you’ll always be a part of Jack’s life. You’ve been there since he was born, but Jacks is his dad so I couldn’t not let him be in his life either”

“I know. It’s ok”

“Martha, I know what Jack meant to you. Means to you but I still really want us to get married and now Jack’s back I don’t know where I stand”

Martha looked at Roman sat there in his hospital bed with tubes in his arms and looking really weak. She felt sorry for him and couldn’t tell him she loved Jack and a part of her wanted to be with him instead of Roman.

“It’s you. It’s you I want to be with Roman. Of course there are still feelings there between me and Jack but he made his choice four years ago and now I’m making mine”

“Really?” Roman couldn’t believe it.

“Yeah, I can’t wait to be Mrs. Harris” Martha smiled at him then leant over to kiss him. “I can make this work” she thought to herself.

Rachel was sat at home, waiting for Hugo to return. She thought to herself how she was going to make dinner for him. She got everything prepared then turned the oven on and went and sat back down on the sofa with a bottle of vodka. Tasha was playing in her room and Rachel had 35 minutes before the food should have been done so laid down for a bit.

There’s a fire at Rachel’s. Who makes it out alive?

Chapter 20

Rachel woke up with the sound of the phone going off. The house was filled with smoke as Rachel noticed she had been asleep for an hour and a half. She got up to run upstairs to Tasha and in the process knocked the half full bottle of vodka off the table which smashed as it hit the floor. She ran to Tasha’s room.

“Tasha, come on we have to get out of here”

“Mummy, what’s going on?

“We have to get out now” She picked up Tasha but noticed that something had set on fire and was getting bigger. She went back to Tasha’s room and took her mobile phone from her pocket.

“Come on, pick up”

“Hugo, you have to come home now. There’s a fire and me and Tasha are inside”

She put the phone down and rang 000.

“Fire brigade please. Hello, there’s a fire at my house. Me and my daughter are stuck inside. The address is 1…” Rachel started screaming and swearing as her battery had died before she could tell them the address.

She couldn’t wait any longer so she thought she’d try and get out. She opened the door with Tasha in her arms and the fire had gotten bigger and she couldn’t get to the door. She stood there, not knowing what to do and the fire was starting to reach the other rooms now and couldn’t get to them. She ran to the back door but it was locked and she didn’t know where the key was.

Hugo was driving at full speed up the road. Hugo slammed on the brakes and him and Xavier got out and ran to the house.

“Hugo, you can’t go in there. Just wait for the ambulance and fire brigade”

“They said they would be about 10 minutes and in that 10 minutes who knows what’ll happen. I’m not standing around waiting for them”

“OK, I’ll come with you” Xavier said.

They ran into the house and no sooner had they entered they saw the house in flames and saw Rachel and Tasha standing in the kitchen with no way to get through.

“Rachel, I’m going to come get you” he shouted to her.

He tried to get over there and he noticed the bottle of vodka on the floor and looked up at Rachel and then suddenly there was a big bang.

Shockwaves are sent through the Bay with the news of two deaths.

Yay Charlie and Martha are friends again . Martha I just know that its a big mistake to go down that route of trying to pretend you want Roman when really you just want Jack and it aint gona work out !!

Wow so rachel's unattentiveness has just created some carnage !! Ooh who will get out . Hmm you say 2 deaths , I can't wait
