If these characters didn't die in the show, would they still be living in Summer Bay?

Probably not because 9 times out of 10 the actors in question chose to leave - so even if the characters hadn't died, they would've left.

Tom Fletcher - no, I think he and Pippa would have re-located

Bobby Simpson/Morgan/Marshall - maybe

Shane Parish - no, I think he and Angel would have left together eventually

Michael Ross - no, if Tom had lived he definitely would not have stayed

Stephanie Mboto - no

Lachlan Fraser - no, he left before he died anyway, so he had already gone

Ailsa Hogan Stewart - yes, without a doubt

Charlotte Adams - no, she was going to leave before she died

Noah Lawson - yes, and I think Hayley would have stayed with him

Chloe Richards - yes, I think Chloe might have made her return permanent if she hadn't died

Josh West - yes, he had so much to stick around for, and a lot of money to make

Beth Hunter - yes, and Tachel would not exist, why didn't she live???

Dan Baker - no, he was already gone when he died

But deep down I hoped if Jack did not die he would have stayed in Summer Bay ( but I know the actor playing him wanted to try something new thats why he let =(

I think Tom and Pippa would have definitely stayed as the whole point of them moving to the bay in the first place was to create a stable environment away fom the city for the foster kids.

No well the whole reason why they killed characters off like Ailsa, Beth, Bobby and Tom was because they would not leave Summer Bay.

But the rest of the characters who died was because it was either a parent that did not leave a family or to make dramtic exit.

But the majority would have left if they hadn't died and three of them had already left the bay and two of them returned as guests when they died.

Well, I think if you look purely at the characters and not the reasons behind the actors leaving the show, then I think that ones like Sally, Flynn, Jack (miss him heaps) would have stayed because they had lives there, they had jobs and families and friends. But unfortunately the actors wanted to leave. I really do miss some of the old characters.
